Flake supporter racially profiles Cardon campaign

Questions immigration status of brother of AZ legislator

Jeff Flake supporter Shawnna L. M. Bolick took to Twitter today to challenge the immigration status of conservative U.S. Senate candidate Wil Cardon‘s driver.

@Cardon2012 company’s hiring draws scrutiny. I wonder if his personal driver is legal?  (Only confirmed followers have access to @slmbolick’s Tweets and complete profile.)

Here is Team Cardon’s response on Facebook:

As a candidate for the U.S. Senate, Wil Cardon has gotten used to personal attacks directed at him. But when the Flake campaign uses social media to spread racist accusations against a Cardon staffer, that’s well beyond the line.

Beq Montenegro is not merely a valuable part of our campaign – he’s a proud American citizen of Central American descent and the brother of an Arizona state representative. To use the color of Beq’s skin to suggest that he’s in the U.S. illegally is irresponsible and without a doubt, racist.

We couldn’t be more disappointed in the judgment of Jeff Flake’s team and the ethics of his supporters. They owe Beq an apology.

Please tell Beq NOT to hold his breath! Th’ mcflake gang has th’ morals & integretyof a heap-0-BOOLSHEET!

  2. Observer says:

Ms. Bolick has never been accused of being a braintrust. It’s a plus to have her involved with McFlake, She’ll thoroughly embarrass him, but he won’t dare try to silence her. The powers that be wouldn’t approve.

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

When has anyone associated with mcflake ever been concerned about the immigration status of anyone with a Hispanic surname?

It is a good thing that the police do not profile for ignorance by a wannabe political RINO. If they did, she would be incarcerated for life. What a bleeping shoot from the lip jerk. She is one of the best examples for practicing celibacy. If her father had only kept it zipped, we would not all be wishing she would keep it zipped.

  6. ZOO says:

Flake’s new TV ad attempts to blame Cardon for the border-bounding sandwich builders. I’m not exactly comfortable with the “degrees of separation” defense, but E-verify was mandated by voters in late 2008 so Cardon’s “lack of at the time” could be substantiated. Now maybe Cardon can put up a spot featuring Shaw-Na-Na, and Flake and the Dream-Beats can bribe the Arizona Restaurant Association to endorse Cardon.

We all know before McFlake was elected to congress, he was a BFD at the Goldwater Institute. I thought the Goldwater Institute was above and didn’t get involved in campaigning for candidates in a primary election. (HOW NAIVE AM I) Hmmm…how did Norm & Tracy ever let McShame get control of the Institute. Maybe Sidney knows or even Trent.
Evidently, Trent knows enough to be helping Cardon. The last names of these individuals is McCllean, Thomas & Franks. Sidney, Mrs. Hoff used to be a Hay. G.I. should have been helping the fellows in Glendale collect signatures or was that just all smoke and mirrors?

Wonder if mcflake is advertising on Univision? Look at their stats: Univision was the No. 1 television network in America among the coveted adults 18-49 and adults 18-43
demos last week — just the third time that has happened. From July 2-8, the Spanish-language net beat CBS by 42%, ABC by 15%, NBC by 7% and Fox by 1% in 18-49.

  9. CD9 says:

There will be a feather in our caps if we can elect Cardon in the Primary. The trio of McSlime/McFlakey/Kook will be out our hair. McJackass does not have long in politics he has become known as such a nasty piece of trash along with his daughter. I wnat an investigation into how and why the Vietnam investigation was shut down by McTraitor.

  10. Frankly Speaking says:

Team Bolick is connected at the hip with Flake. They are all Goldwater Institute, a LIBERTARIAN group…..NOT REPUBLICAN. Too many people confuse the two. They are decidedly different.

  11. Angie says:

Flake is turning out to be a thug like his best friend Luis Gutierrez.
He’s beginning to judge others by his own company’s standards.

Great news, we are winning. The greater the opposition the bigger the Victory. We won 3rd vc by three votes, remember David and Goliath? (1 Samuel 17)

  13. Dennis O'Brien says:

This is an outrageous assumption by Shawnna Bolick. Isn’t it long past time to rein in this big mouth sans brains? She owes a public apology to Mr. Montenegro! I’ve long found it amusing that those with little to recommend them are often the biggest yappers.

  14. Fed Up says:

Shawnnna Bowllick is a well-known kook. She’s still smarting over losing her election. ( I should more properly say “dumbing.”)

  15. Mike Johnson says:

Can you imagine the utter stupidity and blatant arrogance of this woman? Has anyone heard of her apologizing yet?
