Schweikert leads Quayle by double digits

DC taking notice of conservative U.S. Rep. David Schweikert’s numbers

This article in The Hill reports on polling results in the Congressional District 6 race showing conservative U.S. Rep. David Schweikert’s campaign with a double digit lead — 47 to 34 percent — over Ben Quayle.

Then Roll Call, weighs in on the internal polling which shows David Schweikert with a 16 point lead heading into the last month of the race.

But don’t let these great numbers lull you into a sense of complacency. Polling is merely an indicator. With a very important month on the horizon, it’s more urgent than ever to get involved in the campaign.  Volunteer by calling Congressman Schweikert’s office at (480) 302-4872 or email schweikertforcongress@gmail.com to find out what you can do to help.  It’s crucial to keep this momentum going and be able to respond to the barrage of attack ads from the other side.

  1. Dennis O'Brien says:

David Schweikert has actual credentials. He was a state legislator, the elected Maricopa County treasurer and now a congressman with a great depth of understanding of public policy and economics. What Ben Quayle understands is being shoveled into a seat by his former VP (Mr. Potatoe-head Daddy) by virtue of having wealth and connections.

    • CD9 says:

Its not his daddy that bothers me, its McLiar trying to defeat David the real conservative. Little Ben should have stayed in his own district.

I want to know what McCain did to Trent Franks to get him not to run. Another disgusting trick from McSheet.

  2. PV PC says:

I appreciate the link under Quayle’s name in the post. For those who might not have clicked it on, here it is. This gives real insight to the sleazy and lying creep Ben Quayle is. Money and connections can’t change that.

    • Observer says:

Quayle’s response was that the exposure of the truth about his involvement in a soft porn website posting under the name of Brock Landers was that it was “hilarious.” He also tossed in the allegation that the truth was a “smear.”

      • Sam Aritan says:

In the movie ‘Boogie Nights’ Brock Landers was the name of a porn star. Maybe that was wishful thinking on Benny’s part?

  3. Seen It All says:

Schweikert is a principled conservative. He deserves to be reelected. Quayle should have stayed in his own district to run, but he didn’t like the demographics after redistricting. That’s not a good enough reason to challenge an excellent freshman incumbent who is doing an outstanding job. Quayle’s spoiled and wants the easiest means of getting back to D.C. even if it means taking out a knowledgeable and honorable conservative.

    • Doc says:

……just like Dr. Gosar & Senator Gould up here in the Prescott area…Gosar shoulda’ stayed in Flag…but nnnooooooooooo!!!

  4. State Committeeman says:

Ben Quayle was advised to get married and have a child pronto to clean up his image. Now he uses the family photo on his campaign signs. Previously he used “rent-a-kids.”

  5. Brandy Baron says:

Even if I didn’t think that Quayle was a sleaze to begin with the fact that he chose to run in a district that he doesn’t live in against a good Republican who has proven himself to his constituents would be enough to show me. I don’t want another politician who only cares about himself. Don’t we have enough of those?

  6. Tomfoolery says:

Yesterday a Quayle campaign spokesperson in a fit of rage called every Schweikert supporter a “liar.”

The Quayle campaign also attacked a leading conservative group, Citizens United, over their own poll showing Congressman David Schweikert up by double digits. Here’s what Citizens United president David Bossie said in a statement about carpetbagger Ben Quayle:

“It is always a telltale sign that an establishment campaign is floundering when they attack polls and use over-the-top language like ‘liar’ in a statement, You would expect these kinds of desperate tactics from the Obama campaign — but not from a Republican in a GOP primary. Ben Quayle is on his last legs in a losing campaign.”

    • Guess Who I Am says:

Someone from the Quayle campaign is always whining about something. If not a campaign staffer then it’s always mommy and daddy Quayle to rescue their baby boy.

How much more pathetic can a sheltered, silver spoonfed, Congressman wannabee get? Grow up Ben and cut your own umbilical cord off. MAN UP, or stop letting it become too obvious that your mom and dad want you to be a politician more than you do!!

Geezzzzz!! Arizona and our nation needs leaders, not ancestral rights to political seats in D.C.!! We didn’t like that form of governing in England, remember? That’s why we left, remember?I’m assuming you did take History classes?

  7. State Delegate says:

Why do you think McCain and McKyl are supporting Ben Quayle, Jeff Flake and Kirk Adams? They will all continue the status quo, which is unacceptable to any thinking Republican and intolerable to any political conservative.
