10,000 fans turn out for Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan

Look at the photo accompanying the report of last evening’s rally for the Republican Romney/Ryan ticket and feel the euphoria. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s coverage of the event at the Waukesha County Expo Center in Wisconsin called the crowd “adoring.”

While liberal naysayers such as David Axelrod resort to calling them “extreme,” it’s clear the voters see things differently.  And in the final analysis, that’s all that really matters.

Euphoria is the exact word to use! That’s what I felt looking at this great twosome heading our GOP ticket! Finally, we have a winning team.

  2. Saquaro Sam says:

And when the trouble makers showed up, the crowd drowned them out with chants of “USA USA. . .”

    • Frankly Speaking says:

Also, Romney won’t be surreptitiously campaigning for Obama as McCain did!! Senile old Johnny Mac even did that when introducing Romney recently.
We were doomed from the start in 2008 with that fool leading the GOP ticket. Thank God we have a real candidate and intelligent team this time!

  3. Joe Evans says:

This is Mitt Romney’s latest ad, showing that Obama has not only gutted “Work for Welfare” but also has a long history of opposing it. Obama is counting on the votes of longtime welfare recipients as another one of his specially selected voting blocs.

  4. Kent says:

I’m absolutely energized with this ticket! Now it’s up to all of us to do whatever we can to help get the vote out! This is the most crucial election in our lifetimes.

  5. Capt. Marvel says:

Even the Wall Street Journal had to admit that huge, enthusiastic crowds are coming out for Romney and Ryan. It must have pained them to write this, obviously in agony with each word.

Heck, this is getting to be old hat already. On Sunday, over 11,000 attended an event for Romney/Ryan in HIgh Point North Carolina, another 4,700 at an event in Mooresville NC, and hundreds were turned away from a Romney event in St. Augustine, Florida this morning because the security screeners could not clear them quickly enough.

On the “B” side of the vinyl: An event for the President in Chicago was so poorly attended that the room was less than half full and a Joe Biden event in Durham NC drew a sparse 600. I suppose we really shouldn’t make fun of the mentally and ethically challenged, but, really, who would you rather see – Joe Biden or Paul Ryan.

PS: The population of Durham is double the combined populations of Mooresville AND High Point.

While the Lame Street Media do not get it (or are unwilling to publish it), Team Obama is beginning to get it. First the money to Romney Ryan is flowing like an Arizona dry wash after a huge monsoon storm. Then they get the reports of the energized base.

To wit, this is an e-mail from Team Obama to their field offices.

“I just got this disturbing report: Yesterday’s Romney-Ryan rally in North Carolina pulled in an overflow crowd of 15,000 people.

There’s no spinning that number. It’s a LOT of people, and the Republican base in energized.

And that’s not all. Since the VP announcement, Romney’s campaign has brought in over 70,000 donations from his Tea Party base.”

Here’s a heckler trying to climb on the stage and disrupt Paul Ryan at a state fair event. The news media described this as a “spirited atmosphere.” Can you imagine such tame terminology from the left of center press if the heckler had come after Obama or Biden?
