September 11, 2001: We will not forget

Eleven years ago today, 2,973 people were murdered by terrorists who commandeered two commercial airliners and flew them into the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City. Another crashed into the Pentagon. The death toll includes 40 passengers and crew members aboard the fourth hijacked plane, United 93, which crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as courageous passengers rushed the cockpit.

Along with our American citizens, people from 90 other countries were viciously slaughtered in the attacks committed by Islamo-fascist extremists.

These monsters,* here on easily exploitable foreign student visas, were able to commit this evil crime against Americans on our own soil because our government deplorably fails to enforce our borders, laws, and national sovereignty. This malfeasance continues.

Who would have thought that these few short years after the horror perpetrated by Islamic jihadists who sought to demoralize us, a U.S. President — Barack Hussein Obama — would submissively bow to Muslim royals, and officially recognize the Muslim Brotherhood — a terrorist organization with familial ties to Al-Qaeda and Hamas, while systematically attempting to destroy the bedrock founding principles of our country?

*H/T Creeping Shiria depicts Muslim extremists referring to the barbarous hijackers as the “Magnificent 19.”

Another good post! And while we’re remembering, let’s not forget this FOX News video showing Palestinians celebrating, applauding and dancing in the streets, handing out candy to children. This is how they viewed the vicious acts of madness perpetrated by their own co-religionists.

Of course. These pigs are heroes to these backward creatures.

The lack of comments on this post is appalling. We seem to have memories of a gnat and have lost our outrage. Americans are the Romans of old, watching their society crumble before their eyes but preferring to be lulled into mindlessness by the distractions of “bread and circuses.” The Roman citizens lost their will to defend what they had built. Their previously held concepts of civic duty waned and they became ripe for takeover as ignorance and complacency took hold.

This was written by Juvenal a highly regarded Roman satirist around 100 C.E. as he expressed his contempt for his countrymen:
“Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the people have abdicated our duties; for the people who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses.”

As a means of gaining and retaining power, the Roman elite provided cheap food and free wheat to the citizens as well as gladiators fighting to the death or circuses as a diversion.

Today too many are content with sports, beer, and vacuous celebrities who our kids know more about than they do our American Founders and our own American history. They believe there is nothing worth fighting for and think political correctness is the answer to societal problems. That’s how we ended up with Barack Obama in the White House.

    Yes. I’m angry!!

I join you in your anger, Matt. America will be doomed by its own foolish citizens.. That’s quite a quote from ancient Roman, Juvenal.

Our flag has just been torn down in Egypt, coincidence I think not. McCain & Grahamnesty should be proud since they were trying to buddy up with the Muslim Brotherhood. Also his attack on Bachmann and Trent Franks is also appauling since they are speaking truth. 9/11 is a direct result of the mindset of those who will not live in reality, but want to live in a PC world. Wake up America we are at war both domestically and abroad.

Today, Sept. 11, 2012, from the website

U.S. Embassy ‘Condemns the Continuing Efforts by Misguided Individuals to Hurt the Religious Feelings of Muslims’

The U.S. embassy in Cairo released the following statement:

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

The statement comes after a mob of Egyptians climbed the walls of the embassy and tore down the American flag
Meanwhile, NBC decided NOT to have a moment of silence in remembrance of 9-11 victims. Instead, NBC chose to interview Kris Kardashian Jenner about her new breast implants. No joke.

We have become brain dead. I blame the all out efforts by the NEA to dumb Americans down to be easy, unthinking pawns of the left, This is who and what they are. And they spend ore time with our children each weekday than most parents do!
