Maricopa County GOP conservative leadership team

A. J. LaFaro is the conservative running for Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Read his impressive bio along with those of his dynamic Grassroots Leadership Team by clicking on the link to each name:

Meet the Constitutional Platform Republican Team:

April Riggins: candidate for First Vice Chairman

Jose Borrajero, candidate for 2nd Vice Chair

Jeni White, candidate for Secretary

David Ludwig, Current MCRC Treasurer, running for re-election

These are conservatives with credentials in abundance. They are ready, willing and able to work on behalf of the Maricopa County Republican Committee to do the job of strengthening the party and representing the grassroots Maricopa County Precinct Committeemen. They will be the independent voice representing Constitutional Platform Republicans.

These dedicated men and women deserve your vote. We urge all elected precinct committeemen to support Team LaFaro on January 12, 2013 at the Maricopa County Republican Statutory Meeting.

My vote is for the LaFaro team. Gee, Lisa Gray is getting endorsements from the legislators who voted to keep Speaker Tobin in office. Wonder why?

Could it be that Lisa and her slate voted to protect Speaker Tobin at the Executive Guidance Committee of the Maricopa County Republican Party when Tobin’s record of killing conservative legislation and attacking conservative legislators was debated and a censor resolution was introduced.

Just because Lisa’s husband, Representative Rick Gray, is the Republican Whip for Tobin does not mean that Lisa would lack the will to be critical of Tobin’s actions……Not Much…Talk about a conflict of interests!

She repeatedly lead the attempt to take AZGOP Chairman Morrissey out of office for far lesser offenses than committed by Tobin, but that’s hypocrisy for you and Lisa owns that card in spades.

This is information I didn’t have, Annie. I had no idea of the relationship between candidate Gray and Rep. Rick Gray. A tad too close for my tastes. Thanks for the enightenment. Doing what I usually do, I’ve been busy throughout the holidays and procrastinating since. I do know the election is a week from tomorrow and I need to get in gear. Thanks again.

      • voter says:

The relationship between Lisa the candidate and Rick the Tobin supporter?
They are married, and as far as I can tell, he follows her every demand.

I see I have a lot of reading to do. Guess what I’ll be doing this evening? Thanks for the info.

  3. Army Of One says:

Bottom line. I simply do not trust the incestuous relationship between Lisa Gray, her legislator husband, Rick, and House Speaker Tobin, who is already in a crowded bed with the unions. We need a continuation of integrity. I have no illusions of that being the case if the gray team win.

  4. JPD (@JPD321) says:

Key-WORDS “Constitutional Platform Republicans” narrows their ability to drift which they willingly subject themselves to.

May have to re-register as Republican! They got six months, until July to prove it.

  5. Hagar says:

I’m voting for the LaFaro team also. For those not certain yet, how about revisiting S.H.I.E.L.D.’s blog of December 11 which exposes the “Party Builders” slate?

  6. Westnash says:

I don’t see where any of them have stated positions on Congressional Term Limits, Cutting Pay and Benefit Packages of City, County, and State Employees, or anything else to do w/ fiscal policy.

    Can anyone enlighten me?

    • Army Of One says:

I would also like to read a brief statement from each telling me what issues they intend to focus on once elected. No doubt they are all conservatives and nice people. I want some substance to hang my hat on. .

    • eubykdisop says:

Let us not forget things like “comprehensive immigration reform”, sanctuary cities, enforcement of the provisions of SB 1070, homosexual “marriage”, the preservation and protection of religious liberties, non-citizen tuition at Maricopa County colleges, preservation of the 2nd Amendment and all of the other “non-fiscal” issues which are of importance to Conservatives. They may not be able to take action on all of those things but it’s important to know where they stand.

I can tell you that they are making the rounds, and are accessable to answer any question that you have. You may want to contact them and see.
I do know that there is a huge difference between the La faro slate and the Grey slate with regard to Government Employees Unions. Grey has worked to keep Tobin in place simply by not challenging his refusal to support the legisalation of last year, and her State Representitive husband appears to be a Tobin backer.
The La Faro slate slate is in favor of curtailing the hold of the unions on the state of Arizona……Like all conservatives should be.

  7. Kimball says:

They’re not running for the legislature, but they will presumably be supportive of candidates and issues. I don’t find much on these links that answer these questions and others. Why do they want to win our votes? What do they offer? What are the major issues they care about? What problems do they see that need correcting? As a conservative, I’m not picking on this slate. I feel exactly the same about the other one. Banal. Trite. Predictable. Tell us more. As Bill O’Reilly says, keep it short, but “pithy.”

  8. Annie O. says:

Kimball, did you really check out the links? They all shared earlier battles that they have faught in volunteering with the party, especially Chairman candidate LaFaro. No one knows the battles that may come up for the county leadership in the next two years, but seeing what these candidates have already done for the party is one of the most reliable methods we have to know how to cast our
Pay attention to who endorses them also. Knowing how conservative Chairman Haney has been, his endorsement is key, as well. I believe this site carried Haney’s endorsement for LaFaro earlier.

  9. Westnash says:

Do any of them post where their money comes from?

    • sgtflapjaw says:

It comes from the Chinese like everbody elses.

    • eubykdisop says:

Where does Liberal money come from, Westnash? Why are you so focused on apparently trying to find fault with Conservative Republicans while ignoring the transgressions of the Liberal left?

Go here in support of Team LaFaro and learn some facts about the “Party Builders” who do not really support the Party Platform:
