More Democrat gun hypocrisy
Although Mark Kelly, husband of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, is a leading proponent of restricting gun ownership and the Second Amendment Rights of others, the duplicitous Kelly was recently observed making his own gun purchases — including an AR-15, which he disparages as an “assault rifle”– and claims should be disallowed for Americans to own. Kelly has previously claimed the purpose of such weapons is “to kill a lot of people very quickly,” and criticized the fact that such products were “too readily available.”
Here the unemployed astronaut is pictured at 3:30 pm on the afternoon of March 5 at Diamondback Police Supply, 170 S. Kolb Street, Tucson, AZ, making his purchases, including “high capacity” magazines and a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Breitbart details Kelly’s entire deceptive escapade, based on a tip from Neil McCabe, editor of Guns & Patriots newsletter, which stands in defense of our “Constitutionally enumerated 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.”
Kelly and Giffords are the founders of Americans for Responsible Solutions (ARS) an advocacy group with the sole purpose of restricting gun rights. On its website, ARS states: “High capacity magazines are a deadly factor in gun violence.” It further states “Congress should act to limit the sale of high capacity magazines, which are not needed for hunting or self-defense, but have proven very lethal.”
In December we exposed other such liberal hypocrites who desire to restrict our ability to self protection while ensuring their own — even having concealed carry permits.
Jim Hoft writing for Human Events busted Kelly in this report.
After being outed as having no credibility, Kelly posted this bizarre backpedal on his Facebook page,
Obviously all Americans were horrified by the violence perpetrated by the Tucson madman who committed the mayhem that maimed and killed 8 others — including Federal Judge John Roll, and so severely injured Gabrielle Giffords. We wrote this at the time. But hypocrisy is hypocrisy, and needs to be called out.
