“While mourning 19 dead, US again prepares to ax wildfire prevention funds”

    “By Bill Dedman
    Investigative Reporter, NBC News”

“The Obama administration, which will send Vice President Joe Biden to Arizona on Tuesday to mourn 19 firefighters killed in the Yarnell Hill fire, is cutting federal programs meant to control the spread of exactly that kind of catastrophic wildland fire.”

“Fire and land management officials are warning that more firefighters will be in danger, and more homes will be burned, if the nation continues to spend more on putting out forest fires while spending less on preventing them. But federal officials, while acknowledging the danger, say firefighting efforts are costing so much that they’re leaving less money for prevention.”

“Obama’s budget for fiscal 2014 would increase overall spending on wildland fires. But it would cut 48 percent of the Department of Interior’s budget for hazardous fuels reduction… And at the Forest Service, part of the Department of Agriculture, Obama would cut 37 percent of the fuels-reduction budget… In all, the budgets would fall 41 percent, declining to $297 million from the current $502 million.”

“Planned Parenthood receives record amount of taxpayer support”

    “Published January 08, 2013/”

“Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer support in fiscal 2012, marking a steady increase in government funding despite Republican-led efforts at the state and federal levels to cut off that stream.”

So Obama sends Biden to the memorial service for fallen firefighters who gave their lives fighting exactly the kind of catastrophic wildland fire for which prevention funding has been cut by the administration. While wildland fire prevention funding is being reduced from $502 million to $297 million by the Obama administration, taxpayer funding for abortion provider Planned Parenthood increased to a record $542 million in fiscal 2012.

It is an insult and offensive in the extreme for Biden to show his face at the memorial service. The Obama administration actively promotes death by every means possible, from increasing risks for firefighters to killing unborn children.
