Unprincipled McCain admits amnesty deception to unionists

Border surge?  What surge?

John McMaverick, the driving force behind the Gang of 8, partnered with Democrats and squish Republicans to push an amnesty bill through the Senate. In his zeal to advance it, he even voted for an amendment that would spend $46 billion on new border security measures, while doubling the size of the Border Patrol. Now he says that “could be adjusted.”

Arizona conservatives know that believing anything this man says is folly. He lies as easily as honest men speak the truth. McCain now admits the plan was simply a subterfuge intended to secure Republican votes.

“I’ll give you a little straight talk,” the forked-tongued one told attendees at an AFL-CIO immigration forum on Tuesday. “We don’t need 20,000 additional border patrol agents,” calling a path to citizenship “a fundamental element.” Singling out border security parts as an example, he said, “The rest of it could be adjusted.”

“I voted for it so friends of mine would have comfort that we are securing the border,” McCain cunningly admitted. “But the real securing of the border is with technology as opposed to individuals.”

More double talk from the master of the maneuver. We’ve been led down that path before.

McCain told the unionists there is a “good chance of convincing” House Republicans that allowing illegal aliens to earn their citizenship is the right thing to do. The question remains, why would unions be aligned with a proposal to bring in millions of workers to compete against their own members in a still struggling labor market?

As the amnesty monstrosity moves through congress, GOP members are being strong-armed by the establishment elite representing pro-amnesty business interests seeking low wage labor. They are led by the chambers of commerce which represent large donors and long-time amnesty aficionado Karl Rove, who is intent on decimating conservative activists — over whom he has no control.

On the opposite side of the divide are the vocal home district voters and grassroots Republican precinct committeemen who oppose rewarding lawbreakers and believe that citizenship is achieved through a legal process open to those who view America as “the shining city on a hill,” as Ronald Reagan so eloquently stated it. Actual immigrants choose to become acclimated Americans and regard this great nation as their home rather than a place to exploit and overtake. America welcomes educated, legal immigrants who contribute to our economy and desire to become part of the fabric of our country.

Spewing deception, McCain told the union leaders, “Every poll I have seen and I have seen hundreds, shows well over 70% of the American people support a path to citizenship. They support a path to citizenship because they realize this is an issue of 11 million people (more accurate numbers under link) who are living shadows, who are deprived of their rights and can’t live normal lives and are not going back to where they came from.”

Even McCain’s blanket amnesty isn’t good enough for Hispanic advocacy groups expressing outrage at even the liberal Senate bill. They fictitiously call U.S. efforts at border security “border militarization.”

Maybe the pathetic Arizona Republican voters (the overwhelming majority who trounced J.D. for this piece of human offal) should watch this:

    • Kent says:

Excellent video, ZOO. Thanks. I don’t know how old this video is, but I wish he wouldn’t repeat the same low number of illegals. Those numbers have been repeated for over a decade.

Those who supported McLiar with their votes when they had a true conservative choice in JD Hayworth, deserve what they get. The rest of us and our families surely don’t. The harsh truth is John McCain is well named. Cain, the first murderer, was cursed by God. In Gaelic, Mc stands for “son of.”

  2. Fought For My Country says:

Arizonans know this despicable lowlife all too well. He wins elections because he is in bed with the moneyed lobbyists and newcomers to the state vote for him as do the senior citizens who believe his lies and think he’s a hero. John McCain is a privileged son and grandson of Admirals who was able to promote himself through connections, money and after returning home after being captured in Vietnam and dumping his wife to marry a younger heiress, was recruited to run for the US House. Its true he endured cruelty while imprisoned, which is regrettable, but being captured does not elevate one to hero status. In my book, lifelong and practiced liars are never heroes. Neither are RINOs who conspire with liberals and aid and abet their leftist advances to take down our country. Hero? Hell no! Pro-Mexico McCain is anti American!!

  3. Observer says:

More than 80 percent of those with deportation orders are still in the country. Under the Obama administration, ICE no longer enforces the orders. Why would illegals leave now? They’re waiting for McCain and his best chum Obama to give them US citizenship as a gift for invading our country.

  4. PV PC says:

John McCain is undermining our sovereign nation just as surely as Barack Obama is working on dismantling it. They are both traitorous villains of democracy.

Everything we need to know about John McCain we can know by simply following the money.

“New World Order Raising Funds for McCain Campaign”

    “September 17, 2008”

“Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a top Hillary Rodham Clinton fundraiser recently threw her support behind Republican John McCain. She is a lifelong Democrat who supported Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primary and was one of her largest fundraisers in her Presidential bid and for her previous Senate campaigns.”

“Rothschild is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York. She was one of Clinton’s top fundraisers, bringing in more than $100,000 for her presidential campaign.”

Lynn Forester de Rothschild also sits on the Board of Trustees of the McCain Institute. The Rothschild family is estimated to control 53% of the world’s wealth.

“John McCain funded by Soros since 2001”

“Candidate’s Reform Institute also accepted funds from Teresa Kerry”

    “by Jerome R. Corsi, 02/12/2008”

“In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.”

“McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.”

Is there anything else we need to know? Should we be shocked, on an ongoing basis, that McCain is a foot soldier of the Liberal left and the “New World Order”?

We might as well get over it and move on. The only way we will ever be rid of McCain is when he croaks. The one to focus on now is his protégé and heir apparent, Jeff Flake. Flake will be around long after his political godfather is pushing up daisies.

    • East Valley Conservative says:

I agree with your assessment about Jeff Flake. At this stage of the game he has the potential to be more dangerous than the McCodger. He needs to be replaced before he gets eve more deeply entrenched, but those 6 year terms are long enough to cozy up to a lot of big money. He also has the advantage of having been in Congress where he became the lobbyist crowd’s affable buddy besides being a cheap “date” since he is Mormon and doesn’t drink.

Conservative talk show host and columnist Laura Ingraham despises him so much, she has actually talked about moving to Arizona to mount a primary challenge to Flake. Having a knowledgeable conservative of her stature would be heavenly. She’s a lawyer with a sharp mind and up on the issues. In my dreams that would be political nirvana.

      Listen to Laura Ingraham here:

      • pcrcPC says:

i doubt he will be reelected, because of amnesty Arizona will probably be a blue state by the time he is up for reelection.

      • eubykdisop says:

I’ll tell you, East Valley Conservative, it’s almost impossible to find any dirt on Flake on the internet. It’s really scrubbed! I had be to very creative in searching to find out how he is connected with Kleinwort Benson and HSBC Holdings. That sort of absence of data ain’t no accident! He’s being carefully protected; an investment for the future after McCain is gone!

pcrcPC, I think that the powerful global interests backing McCain will see to it that Flake gets re-elected, no matter what it takes. When you have a family like the Rothschild family behind you, which controls 53% of the world’s wealth, there is little that their money cannot buy, including elections!

  6. Lucy says:

Help me out folks, but didn’t we spend billions for some fancy border “technology” a few years back that did not work. Billions were spent and we got nothing for it. Seem like we have done this already–Mr. McCain (who wants more of the same). Just another sign that its not about securing the border.

  7. Viola Z. Golden says:

Over the years, many members offered amendments to water down the enforcement provisions in the Immigration Reform and Control Act. There was a lot of opposition to employer sanctions, especially by Senator Kennedy. He wanted – in his words – “criminal penalties to be based only upon injunctive finding of pattern or practice.” He tried to sunset the employer sanctions. Senator Kennedy also fought hard to move the legalization cut-off date from 1980 to 1982 so that more people could benefit from the amnesty.
