Breitbart: McCain out of step with AZ Republicans

The issue: Abandonment of GOP principles

Quoting the Maricopa County GOP’s latest electronic news briefs, published on Saturday, Sept. 7, Breitbart describes it “as chock full of anti-McCain stories and full of examples of how McCain has abandoned GOP principles.”

The Maricopa County GOP website says:  “There Is Lots Of Chatter Regarding The Short Notice The Public Had On Sen John McCain’s sudden, overnight called Town Halls in Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott this past week.  Briefs has confirmed reports that McCain’s office didn’t bother to notify AZGOP Robert Graham, nor Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman AJ LaFaro. Now if that isn’t a slap in the face of two top Arizona GOP elected officials.”

Maricopa County GOP gets it.  The conservatives in Arizona get it, too. Seeing Red AZ has exposed the deception of John McCain and his trusty sycophant Jeff Flake on numerous occasions — even devoting an entire category to each of them.  Any thinking Republican voter who doesn‘t comprehend the extent of the scam being perpetrated on us, must not be paying attention.  If anything is a must-read, this is

Integrity has surged to the forefront at Maricopa County GOP! What was written on the MC Briefs was absolutely correct! I’m confident MC GOP Chairman AJ LaFaro will not hang anyone out to dry for telling the truth. If this was on the state’s website, heads would roll. The state chair is a McCainiac.

Isn’t if funny, though, how JEFF FLAKE never seems to get in the spotlight? Let’s give JEFF FLAKE some love too!

  2. LD 23 PC says:

The entire paid staff at state is in the tank for McCain and Flake. The prevailing thought is that an R after an elected official’s name is all that matters. Chairman Graham holds to that philosophy.

We all know there have been some major losers who wore the Republican label. As much as we’d like to think so, Dems have not cornered the market. I refuse to work on behalf of any more posers. I will resign as a precinct committeeman before I engage in such foolishness again. I’ve been doing this grassroots work for years and have learned who the phonies are.

    • eubykdisop says:

I’m glad to see that you didn’t forget to mention JEFF FLAKE right along with John McCain, LD 23 PC! After all, FLAKE, along with Chicago Democrat Luis Gutierrez, actually crafted his very own amnesty legislation called the STRIVE Act!

“Bilbray exposes the amnesty scam contained in the Flake-Gutierrez legislation (STRIVE Act).”

  3. Realist says:

Sunday evening I stumbled onto Channel 3 “Politics Unplugged”. The guest was First Strategic owner, failed mayoral candidate and sycophant mouth piece for Juan McShame, Wes Gullet. There he was shamelessly fielding questions regarding McFool’s stand on Syria. Obviously, the moderators know Wes is McShames mouth piece, none the less, they continue to give this character and his P R firm free advertisement.
The only people who watch the show are political junkies or wannabe politicians in waiting. I seldom watch the show anymore because for the past several years it has been nothing more than McShame’s “strategic” lap dogs spinning for and promoting their clients.
I’m actually surprised the show has any viewership left. Wait a minute…let’s see, Sen. McShame sits on the committee that overlooks the FCC. On second thought, I guess I’m not surprised.

McCain just turned 77 and his “career” is winding down but there’s a question hanging in the air:

“Is Jeff Flake Arizona’s Next John McCain?”

“Flake opposed Proposition 200, a state ballot initiative that required proof of U.S. citizenship before voting or collecting certain government benefits. The referendum passed with 56 percent of the vote, including 47 percent of Hispanics. Flake also opposed SB 1070, the immigration-enforcement bill that thrust Arizona to the center of the national debate and rescued Gov. Jan Brewer’s re-election campaign the way Proposition 187 saved California Gov. Pete Wilson 16 years before. According to one poll, 88 percent of Arizona Republicans favor SB 1070.”

  4. Maggie says:

This all too accurate Breitbart article never would have been written if conservative JD Hayworth had won that senate seat. Aren’t all of you who voted for Señor Juan McAmnesty proud?

  5. American Dad says:

Cheers to Brietbart for picking up on the con job being perpetrated against us here in Arizona by both McCain and Flake. Our state party leadership needs to rein this arrogant McLiberal Duo in, though I doubt there is the will or spine to do it.

    As I said before:

SRA people, you just don’t get it – you don’t see the big picture. I didn’t either, until I heard this.

It is being reported that Robert McGraham, the phantom AZ GOP chair, crawled out from under the cone of silence and attended a Pima County GOP meeting yesterday (Saturday). He apparently found his lost voice long enough to address the crowd.

Apparently McGraham’s entire message was that “if he’s got an ‘R’ after his name we have to support him.” We have to sacrifice our own beliefs and values for the good of the “R” Party. The Party knows what’s best. Truth, morality, and oh yes – the Republican Platform – don’t count any more. Leave those thoughts at the door. If its ‘R’ it’s got to be good. All of this criticism of our own ‘Rs’ has to stop, for our own good.

You see People, it’s US who just don’t get it. That’s McGraham’s Big Picture.

    God bless America.

SRA, please indulge this cut & paste note, and let me offer up a huge hat tip to Lisa Benson. She is a gem from your own locale. Please check with The Patriot for her weekly show times.

From “The Lisa Benson Report” Sep 7, 2013
…and why is it that a Senior Senator from Arizona has no idea what Allah Akbar means after 12 years fighting the war on terror?

…but in addition, a serious “connect-the-dots” article appeared in The Daily Caller written by Charles Johnson, entitled “Woman Informing Kerry, McCain’s Opinions on Syria Also An Advocate For Syrian Rebels.”

In summary, a 26-year-old, Elizabeth O’Bagy, a consultant for the Syria Emergency Task Force, is advising (and apparently being paid by SETF) as a political director of sorts.

…here is the shocker…See [new] article by Jerry Gordon in the New English Review entitled “Questions Raised Over Wall Street Journal Op-Ed by Elizabeth O’Bagy – Author’s Ties to Syrian Muslim Brotherhood Opposition Group.”

…However, it remains unclear why our Senior Senator from Arizona, John McCain, is so infatuated with the Syria Emergency Task Force and gets riled up when asked about their questionable ties to Muslim Brotherhood.

[MY NOTE: remember McAmnesty’s recent photo-op trip, with buddy McGrahamnesty, to Syria to rub elbows with the Muslim Brotherhood elite, a trip arranged by Elizabeth O’Bagy and the SETF]

…one member of the SETF’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Jihad Qaddour, was also a trustee of the Muslim America Society, which is a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood.

See article on Front Page Magazine entitled, “Meet the Syrian Islamist Organization Controlling Senator McCain’s Agenda.”

…Please know that Senator John McCain helped the “other” freedom fighters in 2011 in Egypt. Senator McCain, the Chair of the IRI (International Republican Institute with chum Lindsey Graham as co-Chair) sent consultants to Cairo, Egypt to train the “freedom fighters” to win the election – the free, democratic election of Morsi the Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt…

[MY NOTE: who ever heard of the IRI? Apparently McAmnesty’s international Republican activities exactly mirror his domestic Republican activities – support the enemies]

God bless America and her patriots.

  8. delilah says:

Please tell me, who of you supported the “Spoiler” Deakin? Who was stupid enough to support Van? I love the people who think they are going to elect a Senator who has no name recognition. This is not trying to say McCain or Flake was the best man for the job, they certainly were not. But we had two well known peopel running against each in 2010 and 2012, , but as usual the ego maniacs like Deakin and Van got into the race as spoilers, and many of you fell for them. Maybe just maybe you will realize that all we need is one to get them out, not 3 kicking each other in the rear. Maybe in 2016 you will realize how to win an election against 23 million bux.

    • American Patriot says:

You couldn’t be more correct in your assessment, delilah. Sadly, a whole lot of tea party folks were taken in by the “spoilers.” I predict that’s going to be the case again in the governor’s race. Although many fine people are tea party patriots, a whole lot of them are newbies to the political process and are easily swayed by what appeals to many of us: An outsider who claims to be the fixer of all we dislike in the political arena. Following them is like following the Pied Piper through the streets of Hamelin. In our frustration with a system we aren’t happy with, we create worse problems for ourselves. There are super egos in the tea parties, also.

      • LEO IN TSN says:

Well, I see we’ve got some learning to do here.

Many, many Tea Party people were out pounding the pavement for JD Hayworth and for Wil Cardon. We threw the candidates the few little Tea Party bucks we could, and then we got out and worked for them and supported them, right threw election days.

It isn’t the Tea Party people who trot out these LP-sounding unknowns to siphon votes from conservative popular candidates, just because “we have to have one of our own in the race.” Tea Party people, for the most part, are traditional moral conservatives who do not subscribe to the LP-sounding philosophies. Tea Party people support traditional moral conservative candidates who have publicly displayed their patriotic loyalty and Republicanism over time.

Tea Party people do not have the wide-spread, hidden communication system that certain groups have developed to organize their activities and pull these “candidates” out of obscurity, the same system used to pre-plan disruptive activities if they don’t get their own way. The Tea Party agenda is just not that well coordinated. Tea Party communications are public and openly conveyed, with no hidden plans. Tea Party support and Tea Party activities are right out in the open for all to see and join. And Tea Party groups are small, local groups working independently.

Nope, it isn’t Tea Party people that some like to mis-portray to rationalize losses. If one wants to find wide-spread groups that are willing to throw elections to the Left just so they can say they had their own guy on the ticket, one should clean off his eyeglasses and look elsewhere.

        God bless America.

I just read the Breitbart article. The question I was left with was who did get notification of the recent town hall meetings in Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott?

  10. Bill Warren says:

It amazes me how our Senators and Congressmen can be so outraged about children/babies being killed half way around the world; and then vote to fund abortions here, in the United States. Bill
