Teen muggers brag, “It’s fun!”
After the shooting of black teenager Trayvon Martin in March 2012, by a man the media immediately labeled a “white Hispanic,” the President of the United States made a televised statement in which he personalized the victim, declaring, “if I had a son he would look like Trayvon.“
Barack Obama’s Justice Department and the FBI opened investigations into the death and a state grand jury was convened. In a glaring example of the racial underpinnings, the Sanford, Florida Police Department “temporarily” replaced Bill Lee, the white chief, with a black appointee. Chief Lee, a 30-year law enforcement veteran, was later fired.
Speaking of Martin’s parents, Barack Obama said, “They are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves and get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”
Yet the brutal crimes known as “knockout games,” mostly perpetrated by bands of black youth against random white and Orthodox Jewish victims, receives stony silence from the White House.
The “games” are characterized by surprise attacks with violent facial punches delivered to strangers — ranging from young students to elderly women and others simply going about their business, often leaving them crumpled unconscious on the sidewalk. (Video under link accompanies disturbing report from International Business Times.) At least seven victims have died.
Despite these facts, Laurie Cumbo, recently elected to represent Crown Heights on the New York City Council, released a disturbing open letter, complete with negative stereotypes about the “knockout games” earlier this week. For her skewed view, read this Truth Revolt report,“Too Many Jews: NYC Politician ‘Explains’ Racial Roots of Knockout Game.”
