Open letter to AZ’s U.S. Reps. considering amnesty vote

The New York Times reports that U.S. House Republican leadership is “offering a broad framework for overhauling the nation’s immigration laws and will call this week for a path to legal status” for illegal aliens who have systematically invaded our nation, while blatantly disregarding our laws, borders and national sovereignty.

Here is our Open Letter to AZ House GOP’ers who are poised to feed us amnesty in what has been termed “piecemeal” fashion.

Dear Arizona Republican Members of Congress:

You may be tempted to play the old, tired “Washington Word Game” with your constituents when it comes to the so-called “Statement of Principles” on alleged “Immigration Reform.”

Here’s one word of advice: Don’t!

Don’t try to tell us that the “piecemeal Amnesty strategy” that former McCain aide Rebecca Tallent and House GOP Leadership are trying to promote isn’t really Amnesty — we’re smarter than that!

Don’t try to tell us that this is a “thoughtful approach” that will bring common-sense reform; we know better!

Don’t expect us to believe that the Obama Administration, which even Speaker Boehner has accused of ignoring the law, will somehow decide to enforce the sanctions found in any new immigration laws.

But if you should succumb to this misguided, “bite sized McFlake Open Borders” vision of the future, and still expect our support at the ballot box…Don’t!!!

Sincerely,

Arizona Conservative Voters

So, I called Congressman Gosar’s office…got th’ “answering machine” & left the message that I’m an elected PC, & that MY vote WILL hinge on HIS, regarding amnesty in ANY FORM, Period.

    • American Dad says:

My message has been the same, Doc! If Americans are sold out by these supposed “Representatives” of the people, they deserve to have the skids put to them. My family’s future matters to me far more than any of these former Arizonans, now taken with being Washington insiders. We put them there. We can bring them home.
Here is their contact information which I found on this site several days ago (Thanx SRAZ):

I just read that Mexico is “legalizing vigilantes” to aid the government in its battle with their drug cartels. That’s just the type of mentality we need with new “citizens’ who will first be given a “pathway” before they get the big prize of actual citizenship. That’s what this piecemeal garbage is all about, as we become Mexico Norte. We might as well not have a border since our own elected representatives (who sure as hell don’t represent me or my interests!) are guaranteeing our hard fought freedoms and rights to the entire world. Aiding those who have no respect for us or our laws in their invasion of the USA is the height of self destructive insanity.

Call them ALL: Paul Gosar (CD4), Matt Salmon (CD5), David Schweikert (CD6) and Trent Franks (CD8).

if their staffers ask your address to ascertain whether you’re a constituent, tell them you ARE, and you pay all of their salaries…including the staffer’s.

Reelect no one! These establishment types don’t care a whit about anyone but themselves. I’ve had it with my so-called “representative,” too. He’s so sincere….. except when he stabs American families in the back in favor of illegals. They must contract some odd “Same, same” malady in DC, since they all screw us over in tandem.

  3. Seen It All says:

This is a case of Republicans insanely aiding and abetting the expansion of the Democrat party. What their rationale for this is, remains a mystery, but that is exactly what they are doing. George W. Bush pushed for amnesty and Hispanics still voted against him in large numbers as they supported and continue to support the Democrats. Ditto John McAmnesty. His efforts to secure amnesty for illegals bore no fruit on Election Day. Regardless of what establishment types like Karl Rove say, this action will sign our death warrant.

  4. LD 23 PC says:

This ‘Open Letter’ speaks for me! Thanks for posting this, SRAZ!! I urge everyone gathering here to call their Republican members of congress. This is a defining issue that will make or break our nation. If my congressman votes for this, I will never again vote for him. Simple. If they vote like Democrats, we might as well have Democrats. I say this as a longtime precinct committeeman who has worked my butt off for the AZ GOP.

    • ZOO says:

There is the possibility that any or all of the AZ4, or Republican House members elsewhere might be willing to ‘fall on their sword.’

Amnesty is permanent, irreversible, and machine washable. After sovereignty-cide is passed, no one in the country can be held accountable for illegal immigration. It will no longer exist. This is a huge boon for Republicans over their Democrat counterparts – whose constituents want Mexico as a roommate. The establishment GOP has been fighting for this for over 10 years. The “get it behind us” phrase was no coincidence.

Pat Buchanan is predicting passage will out John Boehner. That would be of little consequence since a lot of House members want to oust him anyway. I think the GOP is prepared to lose a few House incumbents, those are the primary threats they are receiving. It could be this time around that won’t be enough.

  5. LEO IN TSN says:

Call them all – fax them all. With your permission, SRA, I will reprint your fine letter and fax it to each of the AZ4, with a personal comment or two.

Remember, the RINO McBoehner strategy is to talk about it so as to convince US of the inevitability of AMNESTY, but put off the actual voting until AFTER the filing deadline for primary opponents against his boys. Keep working to get a real conservative to file against each of the AZ4, so we can get Representatives into office whom we know will represent US.

    God bless America.

    • Seeing Red AZ says:

Thank you, LEO. You are definitely welcome to use the letter. They all need to hear we oppose “piecemeal” legislation. That is the slick means of getting amnesty through bit by bit, while they think they are conning us. They aren’t and need to hear that message loud and clear.

  6. realist says:

Arizona delegation; Should the GOP Congress vote for any amnesty “deal” they will be putting the nail in the coffin of the Republican Party. We will lose members by the droves and the money you may get from the GOP will dry-up. You swore to protect the constitution of the United States…SO DO IT!!! ( so help you God).
