Obama reacts to massacre of praying Americans with moral equivalence

Using meat cleavers, knives and a gun to brutally kill innocent worshipers in a Jerusalem synagogue, Palestinian terrorists show they are willing to commit their violence in the most provocative way. Eight others were injured in the Tuesday attack.

The Jerusalem Post reports that Palestinians celebrated the violence, with revelers handing out candy to children, while brandishing axes and posters of the terrorists in praise of their deadly attack. Hamas-affiliated social media also circulated violent and anti-Semitic cartoons hailing the killings.

Three of the five slaughtered by two Palestinian cousins were American citizens residing in Israel. They were identified by the State Department as Mosheh Twersky, 59, Aryeh Kupinsky, 43, and Cary William Levine, 55. The men and a British citizen, Avraham Goldberg, 68, all rabbis, were savagely slaughtered when the murderers stormed the building during morning prayers and began attacking worshippers.

The synagogue is located in a quiet neighborhood that has a large community of English-speaking congregants.

Palestinian radio reports praised the attackers as “martyrs” and loudspeakers at mosques in Gaza called out congratulations.

In a statement, Barack Obama inanely said, “At this sensitive moment in Jerusalem, it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace “

The praying victims were certainly “rejecting violence.”

Louisiana’s Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal was less equivocal, strongly condemning the unprovoked attack: “Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their families after this evil attack on a place of worship. An attack on a synagogue shows that there are no bounds for terrorists. These are people depraved of any humanity in their hearts, and they must not only be stopped, they must be exterminated,” he said. “Unfortunately, Israel is no stranger to these types of attacks. That’s why we must always stand with our close friend and ally, condemn the act of terror and defend their right to defend themselves.”

U.S. Senators Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) each issued strong statements of condemnation of the terrorists and explicit support for Israel, as Obama carefully couched his words.

Obama is deeply disconnected to reality. His life is vacations and play. Remember how he announced the beheading of American journalist James Foley by the ISIS terrorists and immediately left to play golf with a celebrity pal? After being criticized, he admitted “it didn’t look good.” Obama said “the theater of the presidency is not something that always comes naturally to me.” Apparently, neither does common sense and decency.

For Obama to say “the theater of the presidency is not something that always comes naturally to me,” is a joke! He’s all about “theater.” It ranks right up there with his golf time and fundraising.

BHO is morally confused, just like his Muslim pals. There is no moral equivalent between Israel (defending themselves) and Israel haters (celebrating murder). I agree with Thomas Sowell. BHO is competent and knows what he is doing. Having the likes of him and his henchmen/women in positions of power is increasing evil at home and all over the world. God help us!!

Obama’s limp reaction is not much of a surprise. He has never acknowledged that all of the 9/11 murderous hijackers were devout Muslims. Ditto when Dr. Hassan, a devout Muslim and US Army Major and psychiatrist, gunned down 32 soldiers on the military base, while shouting praise to Allah in Arabic. The words “Allahu Akbar!” which have accompanied many slaughters committed by Muslims translate to “Allah is Greatest.”

Obama couldn’t bring himself or allow those in his administration to call those senseless murders acts of terrorism. He had the US Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies refer to it as “workplace violence.”
Using Obama’s logic, the bloodbath in Israel could be termed “prayer related violence.”

  3. Frankly Speaking says:

Nothing explains Obama’s moral equivalence and inability to exhibit outrage over this brutality or the repeated beheadings of Americans than this video. If you’ve seen it before, reacquaint yourself with it again. It explains the current occupant of the White House as nothing else does.

The Imam who is in the process of taking over London said that Islam and democracy are incompatable. Obama’s actions suggest that he agrees.

  4. Matt DeGennaro says:

This article, “Barack Obama, a Muslim’s useful idiot,” by George Neumayr, a contributing editor to The American Spectator, provides the answers to questions raised in this post. It was written in Real Clear Religion.

  5. Night Owl says:

Israel is surrounded by 22 Islamic enemy nations who have all stated their intent to drive the tiny democracy into the sea.

  6. Saguaro Sam says:

The Parliament in Jordan had a “moment of silence” in appreciation for the terrorists who killed the people praying in the synagogue.

The world couldn’t get much worse.
So, go ahead Bibi, put your finger on that red button and push.
