Even as Barack Obama condemns the terrorist attacks in Paris, he fails to mention the obvious, that the perpetrators are Islamists peddling a radical ideology — a fundamental component of which is global jihad.
The number of Muslims living in France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and other European nations is projected to hit 50 million in 2020 — a 72 percent increase from just 30 years ago. Many are unassimilated, living in completely segregated zones, with their own cultural and legal system displacing those of the nations to which they have immigrated.
It was just months ago, Obama touted the “Yemen model,” as a success story for a U.S. policy targeting terrorists. He was wrong, of course. The murderous Kouachi brothers, who stunned the world with their bloody carnage of “blasphemous” Parisian cartoonists who dared to depict Mohammad, were born in France to Yemeni parents. The brothers returned to Yemen for militarized commando training. They shouted, “We have avenged the prophet!” and “Allahu Akbar!” (Allah is great), as they stormed the offices in a blaze of gunfire.
Although Obama has steadfastly resisted stating that America is at war against Islamic terrorism, the American public holds a vastly different view. A massive 81-percent majority expects the Islamic extremist group ISIS to attempt a U.S. attack in the near future, including 48 percent who think it is “very” likely, according to this FOX News Poll released last month.
Security experts say an Internet-driven, extensive rage against the freedoms of Western society can spark an attack at any time as we’ve seen all too often —- especially driven home on September 11, 2001, with the Fort Hood massacre and vile beheadings of Americans.
In order to win the war on terror, we first have to be clear that we’re in a war, and second, identify who it is we’re fighting. The Obama administration shows little will to declare the enemy. Though it goes by various names —- al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas (an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood), Hezbollah, Islamic State, and Tailban —- their aim of Islamic global domination is the same. Their sadistic barbarism, in coordination with a corrupt concept of religion and politics must unmistakably be called out.
Leading the way, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered a dose of truth and hard-hitting reality concerning the Islamic world’s relationship to the rest of the world —- a dose of reality very few Western leaders dare think, let alone proclaim.
“It’s inconceivable,” he said, “that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire umma [Islamic world] to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible!” The two-minute video, with English captions is worth your time.
