Nearly 50% say Obama downplays threat from Islamic terrorists

White House Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz embarrassingly attempted to respond to a simple question posed by ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl during a White House press conference Wednesday. When Schultz described the Taliban as just an “armed insurgency,” and not a “terrorist organization” like ISIS, an astonished Karl asked,  “You don’t think the Taliban’s a terrorist group?”

In an exchange between the two on a possible Jordanian prisoner swap with ISIS forces, Karl asked Schultz how that government’s actions differ from the United States’ 2014 release of Gitmo prisoners with the Taliban in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

WH spokesman Schultz struggled to answer, obviously trying to recall administration talking points on the subject: “I don’t think that the Taliban, um… uh…the Taliban is an armed insurgency, this was the winding down of the war in Afghanistan and that’s why this arrangement was dealt.”

This latest Fox News poll points to an overwhelming 84 percent of American voters surveyed who think it is at least somewhat likely Islamic terrorists will try to launch an attack on U.S. soil soon. That includes half —- 50 percent —- who say “very” likely. A scant 15 percent of voters think the country is safer since Obama became president.

The poll asks voters why they think Obama doesn’t use terms like radical Islam or Islamic terrorism. While 14 percent say it’s because he doesn’t think the terrorist threat is directly connected to Islam, most (70 percent) think there is another reason. The poll did not ask what the other reasons might be.

The Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, the Iranian Mullahs, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and every Jihadist group are real and present threats to freedom and Western civilization. These extremist Muslim groups deal in brutal savagery, including beheadings, kidnappings and bombings. Barack Obama prefers to soften that link. When their acts of brutality are carried out on American soil, he makes sure they are termed “Workplace Violence.” Remember the Fort Hood massacre? How about the beheading of a woman by a Muslim coworker? The Oklahoma woman’s ‘crime”? She didn’t want to convert to Islam. Since he decided to lop off her head at work, hat too, was classified as “workplace violence“ by the Obama administration. Obama and his administration underlings are unable to utter the words “Islamic terrorism“ in the same sentence. Think about it.

In his 2006 book, “Audacity of Hope,” Barack Obama wrote, “I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” It’s on page 261 should you desire to go to the library and look it up. In the previous sentence he specified “Arab” and “Pakistanis,” Muslims ALL.

The man … Alexis de Tocqueville (1805 – 1859) was a French political thinker and historian best known for his Democracy in America said it short and sweet:
“I studied the Quran a great deal. I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad.”

President John Quincy Adams wrote: “The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mohammed is the prophet of God.”
In Islam, it is the moderates who split hairs to tell others how great they themselves are. But it is those moderates who MUST obey the basic thrust of their doctrine that is undeniable: to convert, to subjugate, and to kill unbelievers; to kill apostates; and conquer the world they must do by the deception that they are a “great religion”. They are not .. they are a double totalitarian regime handcuffed with a Sharia Law of enslavement of Liberty & Freedom.

The French archeologists, Salomon Reinach (1858 – 1932) linked Islam this way “It is humiliating to the human intellect to think that this mediocre literature has been the subject of innumerable commentaries, and that millions of men are still wasting time absorbing it.”

These are the conclusions regarding the war on terrorism synopsized from the Fox News national poll.
    1. Islamic terrorists will try to attack the homeland soon.
    2. The United States is at war with radical Islam.
    3. Obama underemphasizes the threat from Islamic terrorists, yet the reason he doesn’t use terms like radical Islam is not because he doesn’t think the threat is directly connected to Islam.
    4. Few feel the country is safer since Barack Obama became president.
    5. Closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay is the wrong thing to do.
    6. Terrorism comes in second only to the economy as the top priority facing the country.
    7. Killing terrorists with drones is not how the U.S. should deal with them.
    8. Obama should have marched with other world leaders in Paris to show solidarity against terrorist attacks there.
    9. White House policies toward the Middle East have mostly failed.
    10. Terrorism is seen as the greatest risk to future generations.

Numbers 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10 sum up the terrifying situation we face very well. What was left off the list of questions was, “Why do you think Obama refuses to view terrorism as having any connection to Islam?” Another good one would have been, “Why is there mostly stony silence form American Muslims when atrocities in the name of Islam take place?” This is a fact. I imagine there are many peace-loving Muslims, but why don’t they rise up and condemn these acts? Is it out of fear or the knowledge that the Koran condones this behavior? The sole voice of reason I’ve heard is Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., a Muslim and proud American who practices medicine in Arizona.

The rest of the story and the truth from Dr. Carl Goldberg. I find it is best not to be taken in by speakers just because they claim to be patriots.

We need to have our borders secure but all this has done is turn into massive waste projects like the fence and the totally wasteful spending such as taken place at Ajo. If the border was secure and it was known what aliens were in the country at any time all the rest would take care of itself.

When will Obama hire men in long pants as his spokesmen? These prepubescent front men he has these days drive me crazy.
