AZ House Republican majority release 2015 agenda

Republicans in the Arizona House of Representatives, led by House Majority Leader Steve Montenegro, released an ambitious seven-part policy agenda and accompanying video. “We want to make sure we are doing the business of the people,” Montenegro explained. “The House Majority Agenda helps us to stay on track. We want to conduct our work in a way that makes Arizona proud.”

“These seven guideposts give us a roadmap to prioritize the work of the House,” added House Speaker David Gowan.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed and hope for conservative victories among the budget battles.

Strange, I did not see one reference to securing our border against invasion through Mexico. How times have changed. How feckless our legislature has become.

Excellent point, KO. Who are the America protecting stalwarts these days? We might have GOP majorities, but they comport themselves like their Dem brethren.

Is the mind numbing musical sound track supposed to dull our senses to the harsh realities and stark omissions? I think I also heard interspersed clapping. It’s like watching a program with a laugh track included, to let us know when we are supposed to react and how…..

Ducey has already passed the word (via ventriloquism by the CoC) that lawmakers should concentrate on the deficit and education (O.K. fine) and not do anything to “embarrass” the state, suggesting those issues that might do so be addressed in next year’s session. Of course, delaying action another year will maintain that ‘Super Bowl high’ and give the GOP Congress time to maintain Obama’s illegal amnesty and knit and pearl an amnesty deal of their own – mooting legislative resistance to the Mex tidal wave.
