Netanyahu’s speech scores big in showdown over Iran

Barack Obama has his own reasons for continuing to contemptuously disregard Israel’s concerns regarding a nuclear Iran —- which presents a global threat that should concern us all. The rift between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reached epic proportions leading up to Netanyahu’s address to Congress this morning.

On Monday, Netanyahu downplayed their increasingly strained relationship, but said he has a “moral obligation” to speak out against a deal with Iran that potentially threatens Israel’s existence.

Much to Obama’s consternation the Prime Minister was invited to address the joint session by House Speaker John Boehner. Dozens of Democrats including Arizona’s CD 3 U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva are boycotting the speech. Although no members of the Obama administration attended the event, Netanyahu was interrupted by applause 41 times.

Further sticking his finger in the Prime Minister’s eye, Obama announced he had scheduled a conference call on the crisis in Ukraine to coincide with the timing of the speech.

Still gracious while underscoring Israel’s right to defend itself, Netanyahu said, “My speech is not intended to show any disrespect to President Obama or the esteemed office that he holds. I have great respect for both. But while American leaders worry about the security of their country, Israeli leaders worry about the survival of their country.”

Netanyahu charged that Iran’s “goons in Gaza, its lackeys in Lebanon and the Revolutionary Guard in the Golan Heights” act as its proxies. Iran’s ‘global terror network’ poses a threat with ‘tentacles of terror region throughout the region.”

GOP Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) summed up the speech using these words, “Today, Prime Minister Netanyahu asked for America’s unwavering support for Israel, our friend and ally in a tumultuous region,” adding, “It’s unfortunate the Prime Minister even had to ask.”  Burr is the son of a Methodist minister.

Fifty Democrats  —- 42 House and 7 Senate members joined by VP Joe Biden, shamefully boycotted Netanyahu’s address. Many will remember Democrats at their own 2012 national Convention booing the addition of God and Jeering the mention of Jerusalem in their party platform. It’s in their genes.

This ad sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition aired in advanced of today’s speech.

A foolish event that never should have happened. The Democrats, especially the jewish ones, never saw a $$$$ program for Israel they didn’t support. Now they are running away. This was bad advice for Bibi to come and speak without the President’s approval and not very smart on the part of the Republicans to fawn over him when all he is after is $$$$$. America doesn’t need to be divided over this.

My but don’t you play grandly into anti Jewish stereotypes? Anonymity gives you free rein. The only labels you omitted are the words ‘hooked nose’ and ‘money grubbing kikes.’

To say “America doesn’t need to be divided over this foolish event” exceeds asinine on the jerk-meter. The U.S. Department of State has listed Iran as a “state sponsor of terrorism since 1984.

How does a democracy founded in Judeo Christian principles negotiate with those who seek to have Islam as a force for global domination and have no trouble waging jihad to achieve that goal? Israel is the sole democracy in the region. It is surrounded by terror sponsoring nations that seek to annihilate Israel and have sworn to force Israelis into the sea. Arabs live peacefully in Israel and have served in its Knesset or Parliament since the first election in 1949. Obama bows to Muslim Saudi royals, declares the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth,’ and invites Muslim Brotherhood officials to the White House. The fact that he gives the back of his hand to Benjamin Netanyahu apparently sits well with you.

Seem a bit touchy, don’t we? I have been to Israel and surrounding countries. I see the Israeli propaganda machine take US Govt officials on a helicopter ride and try to impress on them “we are the poor people holding back an onslaught of mean arabs”. I support the right of Israel to defend itself and us to help. But they are no longer a poor country and they are capable, as Bibi said, of defending themselves. Let them do it. Give the American taxpayers a break and cut out the excessive lobbying by American jews.

What a patently ridiculous, anti-Semitic tinged assessment. Obama is aligned with Iran, creating a path for Iran to advance its global terror agenda: a nuclear-armed epicenter of Islamic terrorism bent on Israel’s extinction, dominating the Middle East, and eventually bringing America to its knees. They seek global domination and the destruction of any reliigon other than Islam.

Anyone who stays attuned to the news knows what Iran really thinks of America. In November 2014, the Iranian Defense Ministry declared, “The U.S. is still the great Satan and the number one enemy of the Islamic Revolution.”

And just last year during a protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iranian protestors chanted “Death to America! Death to the Great Satan! Death to Israel!”

Americans should never forget the unholy Islamo-Fascist alliance during WWII when the Islamic Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was instrumental in implementing the Nazi “final solution,” the murder of millions of Jews and Christians, by recruiting and building a strong Muslim terror army.

Nothing has changed except for the fact that we are now led by a U.S. President who has Muslim roots, willingly negotiates with Iran as though it was a normal country, invites Muslim Brotherhood operatives to the White House, has questionable allegiance to America and despises Israel.

American Jews, too many of whom are foolishly bonded to the Democrat Party and helped elect Obama twice, should be ashamed.

Ignoramus such as Grijalva doesn’t need to be in highly intellectual situations such as the visit of Israeli’s Prime Minister Natanyahu.
A neanderthal such as Raul wouldn’t get the point. He lacks the intelligence necessary to understand good from evil.

Thanks to the Prime Minister for his warning.

  3. Paul Yoder says:

The real reason Obama dreaded this speech was that Americans finally got to see again what gifted oratory is all about, and how insipid Obama’s efforts are, even though they are always praised extravagantly by his lap dogs in the media.

Netanyahu did not disappoint. My favorite thing about all of this is John Boehner presenting Netanyahu with a bust of Churchill. Hopefully just like the one Obama chose to return to Britain–showing his classless distain for the great statesman whose toes he is not worthy to kiss.

    • SmallGovt says:

It doesn’t do us good to fan over a foreign leader who absolutely has his own agenda and whose main purpose here was to raise money.

  4. Conservative Since Birth says:

These wonderful people put those 50 Democrats and Joe Biden to shame.

Bibi Netanyahu deserves the respect of all Americans. He’s the antithesis of Obama who has treated him like dirt since 2009. For that alone, he should go to hell.

Thank you for posting this patriotic video of American warriors in action.
      God bless America.

  5. ZOO says:

Off topic/breaking: The Republican-controlled House has passed a “clean” DHS funding bill. 75 Republicans joined Democrats to pass it 257/167. Schweikert, Gosar, Salmon, and Gosar voted “no.” Martha Mc-McSally voted “yes.”

  6. azgary says:

off topic, but the you “lesser of two evils” preachers have succeeded in destroying us.

“House Approves Clean DHS Funding Bill”

next up, full blown republican amnesty.

yes keep voting for your destroyers because there is an (R) by their name, and pretend they are different.

  7. jon jensen says:

Anyone here want to go attack iran? Just don’t send someone else to do your fighting for you. Ron and rand paul are right when they call out the neo-con draft dodger chicken hawks.

    • Army Of One says:

Ron and Rand Paul would have allowed the Nazis to take over Europe and smiled after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

  8. LEO IN TSN says:

SRAZ People, please share this video of Star Parker and these brave black Christian patriots with everyone you know. These are the brave Americans who are being denigrated, marginalized and ostracized by our ½ black president, our Marxist media and the self-annointed publicity-fed so-called “leaders” of the black community. These courageous men & woman have continuously stood up for our freedoms and God-given rights as enshrined in our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. They gather in prayer & outreach every time our government tries to leap further into atheistic Marxism and further enslave our population. Their message rings with the truth that strikes fear into the soul-voids of our leftist leaders, who tremble at the idea of a free and productive black population. That is why so many fight so hard to silence and shout over their message of truth.

Please help spread their message of freedom and equality. Their courage and their words will counter the destructive race-war rhetoric of obamao and the holder communist DOJ. They are true modern-day American warriors.

God bless Star Parker and this black Christian coalition. God bless America.

  9. Maggie says:

Thanks to SRAZ for including the full video. Netanyahu’s powerful and spot on message makes it ever more clear that America is sorely lacking leadership. It’s sickening that Obama operatives are working in Israel to defeat this righteous and eloquent man. May God bless him.

    • SmallGovt says:

But I don’t want a foreign leader here lecturing us one day and attending big money fund raisers for his cause the next.

      • Arizona Conservative Guy says:

The oil rich Muslim Arabs you prefer fundraise here far more often since there are more of them. They are warmly welcomed by the Obama regime. Israel is surrounded by them and they have all pledged their aim is the destruction of the tiny country.

  10. SmallGovt says:

Amazing you make such a misstatement about what I “prefer”. I prefer America taking care of Americans. Not foreigners and not growing our government.
