Harry Reid out! Not soaking “up all those resources”

Harry Reid, 75, announced today he will not seek re-election to another term, saying he wanted to focus on bringing Democrats back to power in the Senate rather than his own re-election.

Physically and emotionally bruised, the Senate Minority Leader issued this video statement saying it would be “inappropriate for me to soak up all those resources when I could be devoting those resources to the caucus, and that’s what I intend to do.”

The steadfast Obama supporter claimed he sustained facial injuries when an elastic band on a piece of equipment broke while exercising at his home on New Year’s Day. He fell, breaking four ribs and multiple bones near his right eye.

Too bad the disgusting old liberal can’t take McCain along with him.

      …& mcFlake, & mcGrahamnesty, & hatch, & warren & durbin & on & on & on…
I was listening to Glen Beck’s show this morning & he said that he wished reid “no ill will.”. Mr. Beck’s Christian walk is far superior to my own. On the topic of this post, wishing the Exact opposite doesn’t even Begin to cover what I wish for him…

Unfortunately he has two years left and he will work it hard to make sure he has a legacy.

His successor Schumer will be worse than Harry was except for those who think Israel should continue to see large gifts from the American taxpayers.

As Ronald Reagan said, “There you go again.” Your incessant Israel and U.S. military bashing exposes you as far more than a “small government “ fiscal watchdog you want to portray.. With the expanding fascist Muslim terrorism, we need a strong military now more than ever. As for our ally Israel, you show the same contempt for the lone Democracy in the middle eastern region that Barack Obama does.

We give mega millions (excluding the remittances sent home by illegals living in the US).each year to cartel controlled Mexico, where even their elected leaders, police and military are corrupt. Hundreds of millions go to Columbia, the drug capitol of South America. Oil rich Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries in that region get humongous chunks of taxpayer dollars. I have no problem with sending aid to Israel which is surrounded by enemies that have sworn to annihilate it, though I’d drop the others like hot rocks.

Why would Reid want to waste his retirement to ‘bring back Senate control to Democrats?’ With Flake, Graham, Hatch, and McCain (in off-reelection years) in place Democrats never lost control of the Senate. Reid’s retirement would be much more fulfilling by entering the Jack Williams look-a-like contest.

Although Arizona Gov. Jack Williams lost his eye to cancer as a boy, he was a visionary conservative who fought illegals and their bogus “hero” Cesar Chavez before it became mainstream. In fact, though they imported petition gatherers from out of state they were unsuccessful in an effort to recall him. Not too sharp, they even resorted to forging signatures, some directly out of the phone book in alphabetical order.

As a lifelong Republican, I still consider Jack Williams the best governor this state has ever had.

      • ZOO says:

Jack was the first Arizona Governor to serve a 4-year term after the position was expanded from two.

    • Hometown Guy says:

How right you are ZOO— especially regarding the Republican posers we have supposedly representing “We The People” in DC. Not a single one of the AZ contingent are fully committed conservatives. They all buckle on illegal immigration.

As my Dad used to say, “Good riddance to bad rubbish.”

The old liberal is not beloved in his home state. The Las Vegas Review-Journal tore into Reid last July for saying “five white men” on the Supreme Court ruled that businesses don’t have to provide birth control if doing so would violate the employer’s religious beliefs. One of the five was Clarence Thomas, who is black. The newspaper accused Reid of “race-baiting” and using “outrageous rhetoric.”

Harry will also receive a pension w/ COLA that private sector employees can not imagine and all taxpayers should revolt against.
