Weekend viewing: Arizona’s “Governor Duplicitous”

Mincing no words Don Cline of Freedom Fighter Net appears in the video “Governor Duplicitous.”

In the brief video Cline compares Arizona Governor Doug Ducey with candidate Doug Ducey.  The highlight is a clip (beginning at 2:56) showing candidate Ducey campaigning at the Arizona Tea Party July 31, 2014 in Payson. Ducey tells the audience why he opposes the federally mandated Common Core educational overreach into local control. He repeats the words “I’m opposed to Common Core” four times, calling it “unacceptable.”

Where’d that guy go?

This video should be played on every tv station, radio station and ducey events. Sadly it will not and the McCainiacs will continue the payoffs and destruction of AZ and the U.S.. Ducey is a proven liar by this great video!!!! Question now is how many other lies did he tell ? I’m sure many.

I also have remorse over voting for Ducey in the General. I did not give him my vote in the Primary. As to Diane Douglas, she was my choice in both elections, but has shown herself to be a major disappointment. She is so fearful of a recall from the left she is failing the conservatives who put her in office. This was her Feb. 12, 2015 press release when she still had a spine, saying she did not see Doug Ducey’s name on the ballot for state superintendent:

The post asks “Where did that guy go?” We can ask the same about Diane Douglas. She has been neutered.

The Republican-controlled Arizona State Senate has voted twice to keep Common Core, in 2014 and 2015.

Why do you insist on covering up for the Republican/Ducey/CoC cartel and thrusting the blame on Diane Douglas? How many recall signatures have you acquired?

      • Arizona Conservative Guy says:

I oppose the recall of Diane Douglas. She was duly elected and was targeted for removal by the followers of educrat David Garcia from day one. I would never circulate or sign a recall petition against her. But that doesn’t mean I like her agreeing with the anti-American, LaRaza backed, Mexican Studies program that was successfully removed form the Tucson Unified School District by Tom Horne.

Douglas met with and agreed to the demands of H. T. Sanchez, the superintendent of the Tucson Unified School District. The Daily Caller reported that Sanchez called local taxpayers with “disposable wealth” a bunch of bigots who must be convinced “to educate kids who don’t look like their kids or who don’t look like their grandkids.” What an outrage!! We pay taxes to educate all of Arizona’s students. He sounds like an Obama/Marxist redistributionist. The TUSD spemds more per student than the state average and is among the highest per pupil nationally.

Read this article to see HIS salary!!!

        http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/30/tucson-schools-superintendent-to-local-taxpayers-youre-a-bunch-of-bigots/

Douglas is a huge disappointment. She has caved on the anti-Common Core issue that caused me to vote for her in the first place. So while I won’t do anything to assist in a recall that I don’t think will occur in any event, as a conservative I will never vote for her again.

      • ZOO says:

O.K. Let’s skip the topic (Ducey and Common Core) for the moment and go to your new topic TUSD:

Diane Douglas as SPI represents all public schools in Arizona.

        1) Before leaving office in January, Huppenthal issued a “notice on non-compliance” to TUSD, threatened them with $14 million in funding cuts, and gave them until 03/04/15 to get in compliance.

        2) Douglas met with TUSD Supt. Sanchez in January and explained what needed to be corrected; moderators from the ADE have been monitoring ethic studies classes ever since and the monitoring will continue through the end of 2015.

        3) Douglas met with Sanchez again on March 3rd. Sanchez said the pieces in question were no longer part of the curriculum. Douglas said: “We have seen a good effort to get the curricula in place, and we will continue to monitor implementation in the classroom. We know what we should be teaching, so now we just need to make sure that it’s applied appropriately.” Douglas said the department will continue announced and unannounced visits to schools in the district to monitor compliance.

You said: “Douglas met with and agreed to the demands of H. T. Sanchez, the superintendent of the Tucson Unified School District”

Do you have some creditable source that says Douglas is lying and the Reconquista classes are continuing undeterred, I’d love to see it. If that is the case I will apologize and sign a recall petition three times.

Douglas does not have the authority to control who the TUSD hires as their Superintendent. Neither can she control / override the criminally corrupt McCain/GOPe/Ducey/CoC cartel that sits in the Arizona Senate. She has NOT caved on Common Core. She does NOT control the state Senate, nor was her name on the ballot for Governor.

I’ve never seen such a lame effort to shield the CoC, McCain, Ducey, Adam Driggs, Bob Worsley, Steve Pierce, Jeff Dial, and Michele Reagan by creating a scapegoat for Common Core out of Diana Douglas. It is blatantly covert.

Try this on for size, ZOO. There’s more where this came from:

Douglas praises TUSD, Sanchez, Ethnic Studies | Arizona Daily Independent

      • ZOO says:

I read the article you posted and two others linked at the bottom. TUSD school board member Michael Hicks is challenging that the classes have simply been renamed and offer the same content. He has called for an ADE investigation. As I stated, ADE personnel have been monitoring the classes since January. Are these monitors covering up?

At the bottom of your linked article, the Arizona Daily Independent posts a graphic labeled “Power Point Presentation for TUSD’s Cholla High School Students”, but they do not indicate if that is material currently used or was used in the past.

I acknowledge there is dissention about the current state of the classes – but it would seem until there is further investigation (Brnovich’s office?) it is inconclusive. I don’t believe at the moment this adds up to ‘Douglas met the demands of Sanchez.’ That said, you did raise doubts about the “deal”, and I apologize.

But I will not acquiesce on the continuance of Common Core lies at the feet of Douglas, nor that she has caved on the issue. I would have liked to have seen you say you would not vote to reelect Ducey, in that he and his McCoC gang are why Common Core is alive and well.

If the TUSD situation reveals a Douglas cover up, then I will be stating that about her and signing a recall petition – duly elected or not.

When I read that Doug Ducey was huddling with John McCain in clandestine meetings before the election, I didn’t expect much from Ducey. And he didn’t disappoint.

How can we hold these liars accountable without waiting for the next election. This issue was huge in the election – yet they feel completely safe in doing the opposite after they win. It’s just another version of “Build the dang fence.”

I’m not a fan of Gov. Ducey. The only thing I can say is he was better than the silver-haired former Clintonista who ran against him.
He never had any motor vehicle dept. issues.

    • azgary says:

this is the only possible outcome when you vote lesser of two evils, yet party faithful will still do so and deride those of us with principles who refuse to.

      • Conservative Since Birth says:

I didn’t vote for him in the Primary. That’s my attempt at not voting for the lesser of the two evils. It didn’t work out.

I figure – not voting for one of the two evils, gives us Progressives, something I can’t live with.

We have to work harder at the grassroots level to get a good, solid person in there. But when McCain is intimately involved in AZ politics, it’s fruitless.

P.S. I never voted for McCain – only against Obama.

      • azgary says:

when people know you will vote for them anyway, as in “voting against” the other candidate, they know they will not be held accountable for their actions, they and the party will spit on us freely without remorse and with contempt, and only be beholden to the lobbyist, ignoring the voter other than to laugh at us.

    • Former GOP PC says:

Yes, Clintonite Fred DuVal would have been far worse than Duplicitous Ducey. Still the fact that the conservative electorate is unable to identify and ferret out the GOP liars prior to election day gives me no less heartburn.

For decades e have had nothing but RINOs (Kyl, McCain and now the amnesty slickster Flake) and liberals (Dennis DeConcini) supposedly representing Arizona in the U.S. Senate. Republican Paul Fannin retired back in 1976. Pro-abortion Barry Goldwater, who was not a conservative by today’s standards, retired in 1986. Before them, all the way back to our 1912 statehood, there was just a single Republican. Ralph Cameron who was elected in the 1920’s. For all intents and purposes, Red Arizona has been under the thumb of lefties regardless of which party platform they ran under.

McCain and his ilk worked hard to rid the party of conservatives like me.

What good does it do to run this now? What good does it do to once again slobber over Diane. Ducey won and Diane has shown her true stripes so get over it and move on. The Republicans will always find a way to elect bad candidates and/or eat their own and taint them for good. The Democrats are laughing very loud.

Sinema, Napolitano, and Giffords/Hubby are coming…get ready.

    • Army Of One says:

As you rail against defense spending, you refuse to say whether you have served this country in uniform. (It’s easy to guess you haven’t.) You begrudge retirees their earned retirement which in many cases is deferred compensation into which they put the money aside from their own paychecks, but you refuse to say what you do/did for a living. (Probably less than a degreed career.) You grouse about everyone and everything contributing only sourness and veiled threats of brain-damaged Gabby Giffords or set-for-life in California and no longer an AZ resident Janet Napolitano going back to DC. I’m curious, since you have the cover of anonymity, what party or non-party are you registered with?

      • SmallGovt says:

Patton, you spend a lot of time worrying about what I write instead of commenting on the thread. I am an independent who usually votes Republican I don’t begrudge retirees of anything. I begrudge the system that does not monitor the process and make it realistic for the American taxpayer. I was all over more countries than you likely served in including Vietnam, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Israel. And I stand by all that I say about the threat of the Democrats you don’t think exists. Sinema will love you!
