Leftist gun restrictionists have no trouble taking aim

Breitbart nails it: “This is the playing field”

The irony is difficult to miss. Leftists, who want to restrict the Second Amendment freedoms accorded to law-abiding Americans, always find a way to get their shots in, so to speak.

Breitbart News highlights the hypocrisy with the deplorable photo accompanying this post: “Guess the political party: AP photo lines pistol up with Senator, 2016 candidate Ted Cruz’s brain.”

Arizonans are well aware of this despicable tactic. In the 2006 congressional race, liberal Democrat Harry Mitchell depicted Republican U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth in the crosshairs of a rifle scope in a television ad.

No stranger to politics —- Mitchell was the former chairman of the Arizona Democrat Party, a state legislator, Tempe Councilman and Mayor —- yet he thought that abhorrent depiction was perfectly acceptable.

Democrats are nothing if not two-faced on the issue of guns. They want to rein in the rights of America’s gun owners, but desire easy access to self-protection for themselves. Our illustrative post “Dem gun hypocrites,” is proof positive.

Liberal gun restrictionist, Mark Kelly, husband of Gabrielle Giffords, has relentlessly advocated for suppressing gun rights of others, but was photographed in 2013 making weapons purchases at a Tucson gun store, including “high capacity” magazines, an AR-15 and a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

When it comes to Democrats and guns, hypocrisy reigns supreme.

And whenever a maniacal, psychotropic drug-addled killer wrecks havoc on innocents, the calls for reining in our freedoms begin anew. We all deplore the shootings such as the one in the South Carolina Church last week, but restrictive gun laws are not the answer. Since most of the shooters have been young and probably engaged in playing violent video games, controlling that market might be a good starting point.

In the case of the Charleston gunman the MSM has jumped to highlight the blame game from every liberal with an opinion – or an agenda. Hillary Clinton’s mindless blame of Donald Trump’s presidential announcement speech in which he told the plain truth about the Mexican invasion is the best example.

In reality, it is the liberal media who is directly and squarely to blame for Dylann Roof’s unspeakable act. Roof had stated online that it was the Trayvon Martin case that sent him over the edge. Despite the video evidence released almost instantly after Martin’s death that he was a thug who had just strong-armed a merchant and robbed his store, the media purposely set out to paint him as a victim. They continuously used pictures of a Martin years younger to portray him as an ‘innocent young boy’, while intentionally blocking more recent photos of him as a bird-flipping 200 pound gangster.

The result was multiple demonstrations, riots, and incessant anger from all sides. The media is unquestionably responsible for inciting Dylann Roof. Let us hope that in the coming days someone has the guts to call out the media’s key role in the South Carolina massacre.

        Excellent assessment.
Also, liberal celebrities who have tried to corner the market on deploring valence, (we all do) have no problem appearing in films with gun-filled guts and gore. The Hollywood crowd are major Obama donors (He’s a foremost gun control advocate) and all have armed bodyguards. They are practiced hypocrites.

I adhere to Clint Eastwood‘s gun policy. He is quoted as saying, “I have a very strict gun control policy: If there’s a gun around, I want to be in control of it.”

heres what the hero of the “republican” party apparatus has to say:

Karl Rove: Violence Will Continue Until The Second Amendment is Repealed
During the Sunday airing of Fox New Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked Karl Rove how America can stop violent attacks like the one the country witnessed in Charleston, South Carolina.

Rove said “acts of violence” will continue, until someone can force America to “repeal the Second Amendment.”

I think karl rove is what Robert graham aspires to be.

What about Republicrat John McCain? He advocates “closing gun show loopholes.”
The NYTimes has this article on McCain’s “turnaround” back in 2000 when he was recruited to appear in ads supporting stricter laws.
    http://www.nytimes.com/2000/10/05/politics/05GUNS.html

Still McCain was the keynote speaker when the NRA held its 2009 convention in Phoenix and he won the group’s endorsement!! That’s when I quit and joined Gun Owners of America.

I know and talk to what I call street democrats they make harry mitchell look like a moderate. Most democrats are far to the left of their candidates and angry they won’t represent them the way bernie che guevara sanders does. Bernies biggest seller for contributions are his che guevara/bernie sanders tee shirts.

    • Tempe GOP says:

Harry Mitchell is NOT a “moderate.” He is a cunning, but not very bright, radical liberal who spent years influencing students as a public high school teacher. They were his voter base.

Great stuff! The information linked in the post to “Dem gun hypocrites” was very surprising! I’ve never seen those photos before.

    according to todays Maricopa Briefs:

“Reports Say The June LD18 meeting got a tad spirited when AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham got an earful from veterans who expect legislator Jeff Dial to release his military record that recently surfaced as questionable”

would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for this one.

    • Kimball says:

Robert McGraham is establishment personified. He will never question an embarrassing RINO, but will work his ass off to ban conservatives from meetings we have always attended and shut down dissent.

Speaking of Mark Kelly and Gabby Giffords:
Just a few weeks ago, a U.S. Navy vessel was launched bearing Gifford’s name.

The wife of Vice President Biden christened the vessel with sparkling cider.

How ironic that a Navy ship, which is equipped with the means to protect and defend us now operates under the name of someone who would gladly take guns away from US citizens.
