Thomas Sowell’s birthday reflections

In today’s “Weekend reading guaranteed to make you smarter,” Dr. Thomas Sowell —- who on June 30, celebrated his 85th birthday —- proves while pounding out words on a keyboard, that few of us can aspire to be as smart as this gifted man is.

Reading his wisdom will certainly be a step in the right direction. Here is, “Looking Back,” also running under the title, “A legacy of Clichés.”

Keep reading his columns.  You’ll be on track as Mensa material.

Thomas Sowell is a treasure and definitely worth reading.

I first started keeping up with sowell in the mid eighties, and actually still have a few of his pieces that I cut out of the paper from back then.

he is wonderful foundational reading for conservatives.

I wish Thomas Sowell had just celebrated his 40th birthday, so he’d have many more years to inform and influence. I rank him among the top conservative minds in the country.

I sincerely wish Dr. Sowell a (belated) happy birthday and God’s continued blessings.
