Anchor babies: The latest numbers are shocking

An anchor baby is delivered every 93 seconds in U.S.

In some circles, the term “anchor baby” has become highly charged. Hispanic activists and their amigos in the mainstream media consider it a slur.  Seeing Red AZ views it as accurately descriptive, as evidenced by our post “Ending birthright citizenship = end to anchor babies,” this past week.

The term relates to a gross misinterpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution that has transmogrified into gifting American citizenship to American-born children of illegal alien mothers. It has also spawned an obscene industry known as birth tourism.

The specific provision of the Fourteen Amendment adopted in 1868 rightly provided American citizenship to the American-born children of African-born slaves following emancipation. It was never intended to be misused to convey citizenship to American-born newborns of illegal aliens.

The concept has further expanded to allow these babies to act as conduits for the entire family to facilitate chain migration / family reunification.

With this as background, our “Weekend reading guaranteed to make you smarter,” provides the shocking fact that about one out of every twelve newborns in the United States is now an anchor baby — or the U.S.-citizen child of illegal aliens.

Writing for Breitbart, Julia Hahn presents a revealing and fact filled account in “Census: Anchor baby delivered every 93 seconds.”

If you read only a single article this weekend, make sure this is the one.

Information is power. Use it to confront those who call themselves our Representatives. They are in Arizona campaigning for our votes. Hold their feet to the fire and ask them what they intend to do to keep us from losing our own country to this invasion. These numbers are based on the 2008 Census, so they are actually understated.

Thanks for providing this timely information. What we have been spoon fed by the media is woefully inaccurate. But we have to acknowledge that it’s not only the left that pushes for expansion of these policies. Churches are hard at work aiding this insanity for their own power and profit, disgustingly repeating the lie that we “can‘t break up families.” No one is advocating breaking up families. The children are free to go back home with their families.

And the Republicrats? They have done nothing. I will withhold my vote from anyone who refuses to take on this massive and multi $ billion problem that is destroying our nation.

Tom Donohue of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the real head of the GOPe – his agenda is stated in this article that was leaked to Breitbart and Mitch McConnell will not deviate from it. Voting him in as Majority leader didn’t change anything from Harry Reid as head of the Senate.

The U.S. and Canada are the only first world countries that have such a thing as anchor babies. It’s the slow death of America and the GOPe wants to keep the status quo.

Hugh Hewitt will go to his death defending the 14th Amendment to mean children of illegal aliens are automatically American citizens. He has been condescending to whomever sees it differently. He will be a part of the Republican debate on CNN so watch for ‘gotcha’ questions, even though he says he won’t play that way.

Who of those running for president can we trust on this issue. Certainly not Marco Rubio who says illegals “are people.” Carly Fiorina talks a good game, but she is soft on illegal immigration. The only one speaking out is Donald Trump and he seems to understand the subject from the ground up.

Jeb Bush is the worst of the current crop of candidates! He self identified on a 2009 Florida voter registration affidavit as Hispanic and then claimed it was a “mistake.” His wife, Columba, was born in Mexico and lived there until marrying Jeb. Then they moved to South America for several years. They speak Spanish in their home. Mrs. Bush tearfully and reluctantly gave up her Mexican citizenship to vote for her father-in-law George HW Bush for President. Guess where Jeb is on any of these issues?

Donald Trump is addressing these vital issues and the American public is responding in a big way. Whether he is presidential remains the big “IF.”

Hugh Hewitt has become a huge disappointment on many levels and is obviously owned by the RINO GOP establishment. I no longer listen to his radio show which was my drive time go-to.. Broomhead is worse than Hewitt and is pathetically ignorant. I now listen to Great Books.

This video provides such a valuable snapshot of what is taking place. I’m sick of the excuses from those we put in Washington, DC to act on our behalf. They all become mute and paralyzed when it comes to stepping up and forcefully addressing the destructive tool known as birthright citizenship. You’d think they had no families of their own that they care about and want to preserve the USA for.

I agree that we are not being “represented” by our bogus “representatives.” They are all about retaining their seats of power and not at all concerned about maintaining the heritage, couture and language of the United States of America. Their inaction is treacherous. They all appear to take their marching orders from the McEstablishment and Jeb Bush promoteing Karl Rove. I’m sick of hearing about the need to be inclusive of illegals or we lose.

  4. Capt. Marvel says:

Here’s some good news about amnesty and Common Core supporting Jeb! Bush. His top fundraisers are abandoning him. It couldn’t happen soon enough to suit me or to a more deserving guy. I was very happy to see his recent bottom dragging poll numbers.

And here we voters were supposed to accept a Bush vs. Clinton contest – the two ‘inevitables.’ Karl Rove was quick to say that Jeb Bush was by far “the smartest” of those running. And the mainstream media were behind Hillary, ‘the smartest woman in the world.’ Both of them are having a lot of trouble in what was supposed to be an easy ride to the White House for one of them.

    • Marianne says:

What a terriic idea! If we turn over the entire country to the illegal Hispanic invaders rather than just providing them with billions of dollars yearly in taxpayer paid benefits, they will surely love us. We ought to throw open the doors to bank vaults so bank robbers will also love us.

    • Braveheart says:

You can’t have a sovereign nation without enforceable borders. Mexico’s border with Central America is guarded to prevent the lawless from invading .Mexico’s own laws are very restrictive.
Entering Mexico without proper documentation is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, as codified in Mexico’s General Law of Population.

The hypocrites in the Mexican government will bar foreigners if they upset “the equilibrium of the national demographics.” How’s that for racial and ethnic profiling?
I hope you’ll read this article on the topic written by Michelle Malkin. It’s loaded with facts and figures which might not play well with you.

  6. LEO IN TSN says:

The 14th Amendment has been hijacked and enslaved by leftist politicians and black-robed judge-for-life lawyers. The original intent of the Amendment can easily be codified by legislation from American legislators with guts.

Mark Levine is a constitutional expert, and reports the true original intent of the Amendment’s authors and supporters. The text of the Amendment itself clearly excludes anchor babies.

Don’t let liberal marxists control the conversation or the vocabulary. Make them stick to the U.S. Constitution.

    God bless America.
