Reasons Dr. Kelli Ward is gaining on McCain

By now, most Arizona political watchers have seen the heartening results of the polling numbers showing the impressive Dr. Kelli Ward leading John McCain by nine percentage points.

Breitbart reported the Public Policy Polling results in which 51% of those surveyed indicated a desire for someone more conservative than John McCain as the 2016 Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Arizona.

But the real story is more than numbers. It’s about people — the electorate who are tired of career politicians who care more about retaining the power they so covet, and less about being accountable.

In an effort to gin up support, but worried that he might face angry crowds frustrated with his decades of deceit, McCain has scheduled Town Hall meetings with carefully selected attendees who will not embarrass the embarrassing senator.

Dr. Kelli Ward, a two-term state senator and physician, is traveling around Arizona and connecting with actual voters. Check out her informative Campaign News pages.

Arizona Republicans have plenty of reasons to be fed up. FrontPage magazine covered McCain’s treacherous tactics as his operatives worked hand-in-glove with San Francisco Democrat donors to purge conservative elected precinct committeemen in a concerted effort to replace them with mavericky moderates after McCain was embarrassingly censured by elected Republican state committeemen in 2014. At the 2015 meeting many committeeman booed McCain and others turned their backs to him as he addressed the gathering. His rare appearance was a surprise contrived by the ambitious AZ GOP chairman Robert Graham, known for carrying the senior senator’s water.

McCain is vulnerable and he knows it. Not only was he censured by the Republican elected state delegates at the all-important statutory meeting, but among the many deceptive acts in which he engaged was colluding with Democrats against the members of his own party. The Examiner reported McCain was instrumental in urging the IRS to target members of Tea Party and other conservative groups.

McCain was first elected in 1982, well over three decades ago, and will be 80 by Election Day, but the brazen senator doesn’t possess the grace to retire as he tries to grab another six-year term. He still wants to shove amnesty for illegals down America’s throat.

In the intervening years McCain’s closest associates have been leftists. He sneeringly refers to these collusions as “bi-partisan.”  Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Russ Feingold, Carl Levin, Ted Kennedy and even Barack Obama and George Soros have been among his far-left kindred spirits.

Republican squish Eric Cantor, the former House majority leader was kicked to the curb by disgusted voters in Virginia’s 2014 primary election in favor of conservative professor David Brat.

It can be done…and Arizonans are ready to do it

Another fine post, SRAZ! This senate election is crucial, not only for the state of Arizona, but the entire nation. Arizonans can make sure John McCain has deceived us all for the last time.

This is former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, a Republican, speaking the truth about John McCain:

Here’s an excellent opportunity to meet Kelli Ward, if you haven’t already. Her meetings are open to all and not closed to those with real questions, like those of scheming John McCain and Jeff Flake. We pay their very substantial salaries (along with perks and benefits) and yet they lock us out of their fake town halls.

I found this notice on the Maricopa Country Republican Briefs website:

A “Morning With US Senate Candidate Kelli Ward” will be hosted by Jim Clark at 10 am., Wed, Sept 16 at the Republic Money Exchange, 4040 E Camelback, Phx.
RSVP Clark at 602-672-3630 or wardforsenate@rmegold.com
Pastries and refreshments will be served. $100 per person contribution suggested.

Every Republican should know McCain has accepted millions from the Hard Left to silence Conservatives. In 2002 John McCain followed orders from multi-million-dollar-donor George Soros, to limit Conservative speech by helping Democrats construct the McCain Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Bill (McCain Feingold) that exempted news media, but limited Conservative, pro-life and Tea Party political speech.
McCain then urged the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to rein in Political Advocacy groups for speaking outside McCain Feingold restrictions. (1) (2) (4)
Soros? Yes. McCain founded the Alexandria, Va. REFORM INSTITUTE to (among other things) camouflage funding from George Soros’ OPEN SOCIETY INSTITUTE. Soros financially backed and prompted the McCain Feingold law after he expressed anger at Republican election wins. Many are convinced Soros succeeded: that the IRS won the 2012 election for Obama using McCain Feingold to target Conservative groups with threats, long delays and unconstitutional, intimidating questions.
Then the IRS obstructed justice for years, blaming rogue agents in Cincinnati and destroying evidence in IRS Chief, Lois Lerner’s computer. (1) (2) (3) (4)
In May 2013, a Treasury Inspector General audit found that, before the 2012 election, the IRS had targeted groups with Patriot and Tea Party in their names to enforce McCain Feingold.
Lois Lerner admitted IRS “inappropriately targeted” conservatives. In February, 2014 Dave Camp, Chairman House Ways and Means Committee confirmed 100% of 501(c)(4) groups selected for IRS audit were conservative! But Senators John McCain and Democrat Carl Levin still insisted the IRS was not reining in political advocacy groups. (1) (2) (4)
Now the IRS relies on allies like McCain and Democrats for cover. Over decades IRS new Chief, Koskinen donated nearly $100,000 to Democrats. And 94% of the 150,000 IRS Agents Union donated to Democrats; they also endorsed Obama. IRS ex-Chief, Lerner called Tea Party members “crazies” (sound familiar?) and spewed anti-GOP insults in her emails.(1) (2) (4)
After years the Senate Finance Committee released a report denouncing the IRS for partisanship and incompetence using the words, “gross mismanagement” for IRS targeting Tea Party groups. But weak words hide a terrible crime.
McCain, Levin and Soros urged militant Government Agents to deter Conservative voters using new police-powers from McCain Feingold. (1) (2) (4)

Thank you for the updates, LEO IN TSN. As you are obviously aware, we need team work to carry off Kelli Ward’s victory.

  5. Maggie says:

McCain has money and nefarious connections. We have youth, vigor, intelligence and determination on our side. It’s time we were represented by an actual conservative, rather than a fraud.posing as one.

  6. Doc says:

    SRAZ-May i suggest a “TOP 10 REASONS WHY” ?senator? mcTraitor needs to retire/get fired/just go away”…

  7. Matt DeGennaro says:

McCain also has the MSM which is all too eager to provide him air time. ALL of the Fox News hosts are a huge disappointment when it comes to this over the hill RINO. Locally the AZ República has assigned McCain his own reporter who gives him slavish coverage at every turn. Broomhead is such a suck-up I stopped turning in to KFYI. I thought there was hope once Barry Young was gone, but that was wishful thinking.

We sent a donation to Kelli Ward. I hope some of the conservatives who assemble here will join us. McCain has the Chambers of Commerce and all of the DC lobbyists. We need to put ur money where our mouths are or conservatives candidates won’t be able to be competitive.

  8. pat nash says:

I dont get it Trump says this guy is no hero and Donald gets his own head handed to him. I never liked this guy after mccain fiengold. even though the worst part of that was the way Bush weaseled out of the veto and the filthy supreme s failed in their responsibility calling that first amendment assault constitutional.
