McCain: “ISIS has nothing to do with reality of Islam”

Robert Spencer, writing for Jihad Watch rocks discerning Americans back on their heels with his commentary John McCain: “ISIS has nothing to do with the reality of Islam.”

Focusing on McCain’s abysmal ignorance, Spencer, whose latest book is titled, “The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS,” notes McCain’s response to a question he was recently asked: How, as the senator of a state simmering with anti-Islam fervor, he would deal with what looks to many like a powder keg ready to explode?

John McCain responded, “Frankly, I think most citizens in this country and in Arizona know that Islam is a peaceful religion. I’ve never heard of this movement, and I like to think I keep up with everything going on.”

Watch this stunning example of Sen. McCain’s broad spectrum of knowledge.

McCain concluded, “Unequivocally, without a doubt, the religion of Islam is an honorable and reasonable religion [and that] ISIS has nothing to do with the reality of Islam.”

A much more reliable source for information regarding radicalized Islam is Arizonan Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., founder of American Islamic Forum for Democracy. AIFD‘s mission is to advocate for the preservation of the founding principles of the United States Constitution, liberty and freedom, through the separation of mosque and state. Dr. Jasser, a frequent guest on Fox News, can be seen discussing the bizarre lure of ISIS to American Muslims here:

I just finished reading the review/Overview of Spencer’s book by Andrew C. McCarthy (he’s an editor of National Review) which is linked to the title here.. It’s excellent. McCarthy has also written a book on the Islamic Jihad and has a deep understanding of what the free world is facing from this monstrous movement that is gaining steam throughout the Islamic world. McCarthy concludes with the ominous warning,  “Don’t say you haven’t been warned.”

I doubt the egomaniacal dolt John McCain reads much, but this short review might enlighten him.

Somewhat off topic, but have any of you noticed that McCain’s left of center daughter Meghan, is now a FOX News contributor? This is an obvious ploy intended to aid McCain in his 2016 race by keeping his name on the screen of what many erroneously consider a conservative network. The network hosts can’t seem to get enough of the ancient RINO and now his daughter is being paid for her hair-brained political assessments!! Like her father, she has expressed admiration for Hillary Clinton.

Around June of this year, Rupert Murdoch handed the reins of FOX News over to his two sons, who are both forty-something years old.

That same week, Sarah Palin’s contract as a Fox News contributor was canceled and Megan McCain was hired.

Ms. McCain is a graduate of Columbia University in NY.
Other than being a college graduate and a trust fund baby, she has no credentials.

Dr. Jasser is both a devout Muslim and a loyal, patriotic American. I heard him speak at my district meeting a few years ago found him to be outstanding. He pulls no punches when it comes to exposing the extremists who are taking over Islam.

His bio, which is on his website, is extraordinary. Dr. Jasser earned his medical degree on a U.S. Navy scholarship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992. He served 11 years as a medical officer in the U. S. Navy.  His tours of duty included Medical Department Head aboard the U.S.S. El Paso which deployed to Somalia during Operation Restore Hope; Chief Resident at Bethesda Naval Hospital; and Staff Internist for the Office of the Attending Physician to the U. S. Congress.  He is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Jasser is a respected physician currently in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona specializing in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology.  He is a Past-President of the Arizona Medical Association.

McCain is hanging on by his fingernails. He thinks he’s up on everything, but he’s not. Even his “friends” Hillary and Miss Lindsey are not doing well with the public. He doesn’t know what’s going on in his home state – I use that term loosely. He’s more into the international scene. He’s not too busy though to micro-manage AZ politics. That’s how he gets reelected.

KFYI was really attacking Trump yesterday… McCain’s behest, I’ll bet.

I did see McCain’s daughter on Fox and I thought the same thing as Hometown Guy, above, keeping the “conservative” name on a “conservative” station. Meghan McCain is no shrinking violet on the cable station. She clashes with the more conservative types, but tries to sound conservative – except on gay marriage and stayed silent on illegal immigration the day I saw her.

McCain has a weakness for Muslims. He wouldn’t even let Bill Cunningham use Obama’s middle name at a campaign stop – and told us not to be afraid of Obama – he’ll make a fine president (while running against him!).
