Americans deliberately being mislead on economy

Just days ago, in a report titled, “Grim Jobs Report Is Likely to Delay a Move by the Fed on Rates,” the New York Times wrote of the unexpectedly dismal job growth last month casting a shadow on the nation’s economy.” The newspaper described Friday’s government report as sending analysts scrambling for adjectives like “dreadful,” “a body blow” and “grim” to describe just how disappointing they found the latest employment figures.

The U.S. Department of Labor oddly boasted that the jobless rate held steady at 5.1 percent in September — despite wage gains stalling, the labor force shrinking and employers creating far fewer positions than they had been averaging in recent months. The latest Employment Summary makes clear that American workers are still failing to take home the kind of monetary rewards normally expected from a recovery that has being going on for more than six years.

If the staggering economy were a patient, it would be on life support.

So why does the USAToday edition — tucked into the anorexic Arizona Republic in an effort to give it heft — report that the Army has hit its target for recruits in 2015, exceeding its goal, because “the improving economy has offered young men and women more job options….”

The obvious takeaway is that the lackluster economy offers few opportunities, lessening employment choices and causing youth, who might have other aspirations, to sign up for the military as they seek a steady income.

There appear to be major discrepancies in economic analysis among the sources. Then again, does anyone actually put any faith in the rosier numbers coming out of the Obama administration with Thomas Perez — the exceedingly left-wing and political former Assistant Attorney General in Obama’s DOJ — now in the position of Secretary of Labor? Here is Perez announcing his intention to sue Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, in a May 2012 news clip.

Obama’s Labor Department has put out deceptive numbers throughout the entire economic downturn. Before Perez, the top job was held by Hilda Solis, who left her Cabinet post to run for the CA. Board of Supervisors while under federal investigation. She won anyway. What Solis and Perez have in common is a dedication to the radical leftwing of the dem party, advancing all aspects of the illegal invasion and the fact that both have “immigrant” parents. Neither of them have backgrounds in economics, but both help Obama with Hispanic voters.

US job numbers overall remain down but the majority of new jobs have been going to non-citizens for quite some time. This is a disaster that undercuts our own American labor force.

Solis was known for saying, “We are all Americans, whether you are legal or not.”
Perez made a career of investigating law enforcement agencies across the country hoping to prosecute officers based on spurious allegations by illegals. That’s why he went after Sheriff Arpaio. Perez was also the point man for Obama’s efforts aimed at challenging voter ID laws in state after state. Neither of these people possess credentials making them worthy of the job heading the Department of Labor except that they are loyal foot soldiers on a mission.

It’s insulting having the Obama regime tell us that the unemployment rate is 5.1%. How in the world can anybody believe that. The Republicans in Washington never utter a peep over the outrageous lies coming from this administration. They lied about how “well” we’re doing against ISIS – they lied about high deportation rates of illegal aliens, when we find out that total deportations dropped 42 percent since 2012. The helpful leftist news media aid in Obama’s lies and he and his band of criminal bureaucrats lie about everything. What good is a two-party system when there’s no loyal opposition.

Leftism seems to be picking up speed in this country. Bernie Sanders used to be a joke – now he’s drawing huge crowds. Biden might (will) run and Drudge shows him with Elizabeth Warren, far left Harvard law professor as possible VP. Colleges and universities are taking extreme leftist stands on issues and if you disagree, you’re punished. Hillary Clinton is as far left as Obama and if elected, we’ll see the disasters Obama created continue. More lies, more scandals until the Left considers their job done: the demise of this once wondrous country.

What I also find interesting is the NYT’s own report said the latest jobs numbers sent “analysts scrambling for adjectives like “dreadful,” “a body blow” and “grim” to describe just how disappointing they found the latest employment figures.” This country has been raided and exploited by the Obama administration for the past 7 years and few appear to be paying attention. Everyone knows about Bruce/Caitlin yet precious few are attuned to the disaster the left has perpetrated on Americans.

Americans are the Romans of old, watching their society crumble before their eyes but preferring to be lulled into mindlessness by the distractions of “bread and circuses.” The Roman citizens lost their will to defend what they had built. Their previously held concepts of civic duty waned and they became ripe for takeover as ignorance and complacency took hold.

This was written by Juvenal a highly regarded Roman satirist around 100 C.E. as he expressed his contempt for his countrymen:

“Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the people have abdicated our duties; for the people who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses.”

As a means of gaining and retaining power, the Roman elite provided cheap food and free wheat to the citizens as well as gladiators fighting to the death or circuses as a diversion.

Today too many are content with sports, beer, and vacuous celebrities who our kids know more about than they do our American Founders and our own American history. They believe there is nothing worth fighting for and think political correctness is the answer to societal problems. That’s how we ended up with Barack Obama in the White House. We can’t afford to make the same mistake in 2016 or there will be nothing left to save.

TRUMP called it a like it is months ago. Seems like old news.

      • Matt DeGennaro says:

Under Obama, the dismal economic reports are ongoing news, but the most recent jobs report was just released days ago. if you mean Roman history is old news, that’s true. The way not to repeat the dire consequences of history to to be reminded of the catastrophic results of not paying attention.

Call the AZ5 House-mice and ask them why they hide in silence (not even a squeak) and give obamao everything he wants. Anybody see any real “townhalls” during this vacation? They all ran unopposed, you know (except for the boyish Mzzzz McMcMcSally who is hand-vetted by McBoehner).

Quite a video, CSB. I watched it and then called my wife in to see it, so I watched it twice. It’s very well done and I appreciate having the opportunity to see it. Thanks!
