AZ GOP Chair Robert Graham’s ballot harvesting amnesia

More self aggrandizing bravado from Robert Graham while efforts of former Maricopa County GOP chairman A.J. LaFaro get kicked to the curb

In a Monday email blast titled “Encouraging Support for Elections Integrity Legislation,” AZ GOP chairman Robert Graham made a point of thanking everyone but the actual “Man of Integrity” — former Maricopa County Chairman A.J. LaFaro, who has relentlessly worked to expose the ballot harvesting issue for the last year and a half.

What justification could there be for neglecting to mention LaFaro? HB 2023 came about as a direct result of LaFaro’s exposure of  the practice of ballot harvesting in Arizona’s elections. Ballot harvesters worked in the 2012 and the 2014 elections canvassing precincts, collecting ballots, and arranging opportunities for fraud, intimidation, and even the denial of voting rights if they were not turned in prior to the voting deadline.

At legislative hearings, voters in Arizona elections voiced objections to strangers coming to their doors requesting their ballots. Some of these “good Samaritans” even offered to pick up unvoted ballots.

In the height of hypocrisy, Robert Graham commented on the legislators “selfless dedication” which he said reminded him of “what Presidents Truman and Reagan used to say: that you can accomplish a lot when you don’t care too much about who gets the credit.” Unfortunately Graham, was all too eager to neglect to give credit to A. J. LaFaro.

This Oct. 2014 Newsmax “America’s Forum” coverage shows J.D. Hayworth interviewing then-Maricopa County GOP chairman La Faro. Truth Report also exposed the fraud of ballot harvesting in this report revealing the practice engaged in by left-wing activists — complete with a surveillance video featuring dialogue between LaFaro and a vulgar activist.

And Robert Graham? He conveniently purged A.J. LaFaro from the history books. Where have we seen that before?

I am so ready to have actual conservative leadership at the AZ state party. Robert Graham is aligned with Team McCain and takes his marching orders from that faction. He doesn’t credit AJ LaFaro with anything because LaFaro is a man whose conservative values actually mean something. That doesn’t fit the McCain/Graham parameter.

Aren’t there a few too many Grahams in McCain’s life?

By the way, have you seen the new public service announcements on TV starring Gov Ducey and Cindy McCain?
And she is showing up on FOX a lot, and now on social media.
Just so you know, she is Very involved in bringing refugees to the US.

Is she preparing to keep that Senate seat warm and fill those tasseled loafers when Johnny goes horizontal ?

John McCain arranged for Robert Graham, with zero credentials to recommend him, to address a US Senate Committee last year. All of the McWheels are in motion. First Graham will go for the NRC chairmanship post to burnish his image once Reince Priebus is out. Then he’ll be one of the multitude who’ll try for the appointment when the aged maverick is unable to perform. Gov. Ducey is a McCain ally and will appoint a successor that suits the McCain and his Establishment cronies. I don’t think it’s going to be Cindy McCain who stole narcotic drugs for her own use from those she was on a philanthropic mission to bring medical aid to. She can run from that truth, but she can’t obliterate it. Putting the best face on her thievery and addiction, she once told Jay Leno, “I think it made me a better person as well as a better parent, so I think it would be very important to talk about it and be very upfront about it.”

John McCain on Cam Newton’s Post-Game Sulking: ‘I Know What It’s Like to Lose’ – Breitbart

With any luck, we’ll see that McAmnesty and Cam Newton LOSE in the same year.

  4. Claire Voyant says:

Fox news, which I rarely watch anymore, is McCain all the way. All of the hosts are McSycophants Now they’ve even brought in ditzy Meghan McCain as a revolving regular on the morning show known as “Outnumbered” consisting of all females and a different male participant each day. Yesterday Meghan’s Daddy was the “guy” alongside his daughter. I was outraged. Fox obviously knows he’s a RINO being challenged by conservative Dr. Kelli Ward, but that doesn’t phase them. The network’s ethics are in the toilet.
Let’s never forget that Robert Graham does this creep’s bidding.

  5. East Valley Conservative says:

Robert Graham dismisses AJ LaFaro with this back of the hand swipe for the simple reason that AJ is a man of honor and integrity. Those qualities don’t play into the McMatrix that Graham has laid out for himself. I miscalculated and voted for this slug, and have since regretted my foolishness on numerous occasions. Graham has one single focus and that’s Numero Uno.

  6. Frankly Speaking says:

There’s a sound reason John McCain has made Roll Call’s list of The 10 Most Vulnerable Senators.

And solid explanation why McCain Rates an F (along with his toady Jeff Flake) on Conservative Review

Also a good reason why Ken Cuccinelli, President of Senate Conservatives Fund asks Arizonans to “Replace John McCain,” saying: There are few Republicans who have betrayed our conservative principles more than John McCain.

What would possess The Daily Caller to run a headline, “McCain, Flake race for least popular senator prize”?

And when McCain’s underling Jeff McFlake wins the prize as the Most Unpopular Senator in the Nation, he agrees that pre-election conning of the voters works. Read his shockingly dismissive quote in the third paragraph.

But Robert Graham is too tone deaf to notice since his own political aspirations have blinded him and rendered him unable to hear the truth.
