iPhone-banning Bill Montgomery inconsistent on terror threat

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, released a Feb. 24, 2016 statement advising that his office would stop issuing iPhones to its employees as a result of the company’s current legal dispute with the FBI. Montgomery attempted to defend his decision in an interview on Fox News

Fox and Friends (video under link) weekend anchor Clayton Morris asked Montgomery which phone operating system he would use, since both Google and Microsoft have also come out publicly in support of Apple’s decision not to create a way to circumvent the iPhone’s security for the FBI. Montgomery oddly responded by saying if that is the case, it should give the U.S. Congress the motivation to “reset everything back to where it was.”

After Morris made the point that many iPhone owners don’t want the federal government to have access to their iPhone, Montgomery responded by saying he has more faith in the U.S. Constitution to protect a person’s privacy rather than “some benevolent corporate CEO who thinks he’s the privacy messiah.”

Although Montgomery made news by boycotting iPhones, saying that “Apple is on the side of the terrorists,” he neglects to make the connection that his political associates John McCain and Jeff Flake were instrumental in forming the pro-amnesty Gang of Eight. Along with Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Marco Rubio and a host of other liberals and RINOs — they have worked to keep our border open to illegal invaders including terrorists.

A 2015 Washington Post report details the apprehensions of terrorists at the Texas border. In 2011 Seeing Red AZ posted Hezbollah on our doorstep: Radical Muslims in border towns. This is not a new phenomenon as evidenced by this San Diego ABC 10 News report detailing the Shi’a Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah’s long established foothold in the city. As far back as 2001 WND reported that Middle Eastern illegals find easy entrance into U.S. from Mexico.

Montgomery, his employees, the citizens of Maricopa County and the state of Arizona would be better served if he showed some backbone and called out Arizona Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake for their overt efforts in leaving us all vulnerable to terrorism. iPhones are the least of it.

The connective thread includes Jeff Flake and Jon Kyl endorsing open borders Marco Rubio for president. It’s establishment all the way. Before Flake was in the senate, McCain and Kyl worked with leftist Ted Kennedy and other Dems to push the same deceit, immediately after their reelection though they campaigned against it. As Flake has openly acknowledged, “that’s the beauty of a six year term.” They can lie and deceive and think we will forget and reelect them.

The only reason Senor Juan McAmnesty is opting out of endorsing his amnesty clone Marco is because he’s worried about getting reelected and serving out a term that will have him close to staring 90 in the eye. It’s past time for Arizonans to stop proving Albert Einstein right. He was quoted as defining Insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Vote for Dr. Kelli Ward. Se’s a physician and former state senator and will provide a welcome relief from the status quo we’ve endured far decades. Send her a few bucks to keep her competitive with the mega millions McCain will be spending to win at all costs.

  2. Truth or Consequences says:

Right on, Seeingred. Same could be said for Jan Brewer who babbles on about fighting human trafficking with Cindy McCain but says nothing about the leading promoter of human trafficking for the last 15 years, Cindy’s husband John McCain.

Another excellent post, SRAZ. Much appreciate the information. I especially appreciate the substantiating links provided. I often send links to SRAZ posts to my email buds. They’re smart guys but need to be educated on the issues and the Republicrat cronies. One tells me he’s too busy for politics. I recently countered by asking him if he cared about his children’s future. That got his attention.

the big issue with apple is they employ millions in china and india, then sell their over priced crap here:

“Taiwanese manufacturing group Foxconn is planning an aggressive expansion in India, building up to 12 new factories and employing as many as 1 million workers by 2020 as it battles rising wage costs and labor disputes in China.
The move signals a shift in strategy for the technology company, which is mainland China’s biggest private-sector employer and is best known as the largest global contract manufacturer of Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices.

India has long hoped that its vast pool of cheap workers would see it become the world’s next manufacturing powerhouse after China.

Recently the NYPD funded I-phones for NYC transit cops whose job it is to patrol the subways, trains, etc. The phones contain information on wanted persons. Just last week, while observing a man who was spitting on the subway platform, it was discovered through the use of the I-phone that this man was wanted for murder.

please check out the lead story on breitbart.com today. Here’s the link:

The New York Times has published information about FOX News heavies Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes colluding with Marco Rubio and US Senator from NY Chuck Schumer regarding amnesty.
The story claims that this unholy collaboration began about 3 years ago. Gang of 8 time.

The New York Times’ story claims that Hannity and O’Reilly are in on it.

    • Longtime GOP PC says:

The real colluders are the Congressional shamnesty schisters who breathe the rarified senate air and think they are infallible geniuses because they tell each other so. We add to their aura of self importance every time we stand and applaud them for simply entering a room. They make more than the average taxpayer paying their salaries and are supposed to answer to us…..not the other way around. Let them applaud us!!

      • Longtime GOP PC says:

Neglected to mention that County Attorney Bill Montgomery is chomping at the bit to screw us over in Washington, DC. Maricopa County isn’t nearly enough to fulfill his ultimate ambitions.

    • Conservative Since Birth says:

Saw that article. Reading it made me want to barf. Fox has lost 50% of its Republican viewers, according to another Breitbart article. O’Reilly is downright stomach-turning – just like his bosses, Murdoch and Ailes.

This is why some prefer Trump. He’s not ‘one of them.’

  6. Rick says:

This was exactly my point. Washington is complicit in the wide-open border scandal allowing terrorists to walk over unabated. DC is also responsible for blue states setting up their illegal sanctuary cities as a calling card for migrants to come across and lavish in free, taxpayer-funded handouts.

So calling Apple out is a straw man argument designed to deceive Americans that corporations, not policy, are at the center of their losing fight against terror. Giving up our liberty to Hussein’s FBI is therefore necessary to make us safe.

When the Hildebeast is permitted to run a campaign for POTUS when she should have already been enshrined in an orange jumpsuit, it is clear evidence that the feds are only interested in preserving the absolute authority for the criminals in DC.

I hope Apple gives the feds what it has been giving to us for 8 years. An extended digital middle finger

  7. Marianne says:

Bill Montgomery went to bat for Flake and his flaky dog killing son and daughter-in-law, dreading the thought of bringing charges against them and her parents for the gruesome heat related deaths suffered at the kennel. The Flakes were supposed to be tending the pets families entrusted to their care while her parents (the kennel owners) were on vacation. Any responsible county attorney would have filed charges based on the indisputable evidence against them, before and after the 2 dozen dogs were found dead. Montgomery held an insulting press conference in which he said of the dead family pets, “they weren’t 23 children, after all.” The last thing he wants to do is get crosswise with the GOP establishment. And the dog killers? They filed a multi million dollar claim against the people of Maricopa county!!

  8. LD 23 PC says:

It’s been clear for quite a while that Montgomery takes his marching orders from the McCain cabal, including the still active Jon Kyl, whose DC lobbyist perch doesn’t keep his fingers out of the AZ political pie. For the establishment to lose control would be anathema to them. There is too much at stake to take any of these would be political dictators seriously. While we are still able to think for ourselves, we should be very wary of following these nefarious controllers. Educate yourselves before voting. They are hoping their endorsements matter. That’s how we got Doug Ducey running the state. McCain’s fingerprints are all over him just as they are on Montgomery.
