How secure is your mail-in ballot?

The Arizona Daily Independent carries a disturbing report exposing the vulnerability of “secure and private” ballots cast in the March 22, 2016 Arizona Presidential Preference Election. The article is titled, “Arizona ballot harvesters can benefit from cheap stationary.”

The report states, “While nothing can be done now to prevent abuses in the PPE, the discovery of the security lapse bolsters arguments for HB 2023 which will make ballot harvesting a class six felony.”

Former Maricopa County Republican Chairman A.J. LaFaro has been in the forefront calling attention to “ballot harvesting.” Democrats seem to think collecting other people’s ballots, even unvoted ones, is a acceptable tactic. LaFaro exposed this corrupt practice, for which we all owe him a debt of gratitude.
This Democrat activist, seen on a surveillance video, spend over. 8 minutes stuffing harvested ballots in the voting box at the Maricopa County Elections Dept. When he was questioned he told LaFaro, “Go F**k yourself, Gringo.”

Another fact filled post. Thanks to both SRAZ and ADI.

This is very concerning. Did HB 2023 ever pass? It should be prioritized.

We never mail in our ballot. It’s a bit of a pain, but we take them directly to the Election Department downtown and drop them in the secure ballot box, so we know there is no funny business. I’ve never trusted the US Postal Service when it concerns voting. I’ve read too many times about undelivered mail found dumped or in an abandoned building. If that mail contained ballots it would be very easy for one devious person to control a lot of votes.

I sincerely hope HB2023 becomes law so our voting process can be one of integrity that all voters can depend on operating in a reputable manner. Why are Democrats standing in opposition to the passage of this bill? We are all diminished if the election process is not above reproach.

Speaking of voting, take a look at what happened at a Minnesota state caucus—-All Refugees from Somali, speaking in their native language.

A reporter at a DFL caucus for Minnesota’s House District 60B could not report on the candidates’ speeches to caucus attendees because the speeches were only given in Somali.

The concept of a “melting pot” that Americanized the legal immigrants who came to the United States at the turn of the last century, and worked so well in acculturating newcomers in transitioning into Americans is now not only considered passé, but offensive. We are told to celebrate diversity rather than unity. Our schools are filled with children who speak numerous languages and who resist learning English. Americans are forced to endure month long harangues of Black and Hispanic history, as revisionism is the order of the day in our American history text books. Columbus has morphed into a plunderer and exploitive oppressor rather than the man “who sailed the ocean blue in 1492” coming to the “new world.” Even the God fearing Pilgrims “oppressed” the Indians. Americans are always the bad guys and our Founders who gifted us with the documents that formed this “more perfect union” are demonized as irrelevant “white men in britches.” Too many parents have no idea how their children are being brainwashed by the liberal unionized teachers.

I’m a retired public school teacher and have seen the incremental dumbing down of American students. It continues through middle school and high school and reaches its zenith at the university level. By then the kids are Bernie Sander’s supporting Socialists who couldn’t tell you the difference between the failed systems of Communism and Socialism and our representative Republic steeped in freedom and liberty..
