Former MC Chair AJ LaFaro’s resolution demands Robert Graham resign

Resolution for AZGOP State Convention scheduled for April 30, 2016

Immediate past Maricopa County Republican Chairman A. J. LaFaro writes: In accordance with the Continuing Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party Article VI Section F. Resolutions, I am submitting the attached resolution entitled, “AZGOP State Convention Delegates’ Resolution Demanding Chairman Robert Graham Resign.”

The resolution is 248 words and is being submitted at least 45 days before the Arizona Republican Party’s (AZGOP) 2016 State Convention being held on April 30, 2016.  I expect the resolution be immediately forwarded to the Resolutions Committee Chairman and Committee Members with an e-mail acknowledgement of receipt being sent to me at

I also expect the submitted resolution be sent to each delegate and alternate with the call of the state convention in accordance with the Continuing Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party Article VI Section F(2) Procedures.

Given Robert Graham’s and the AZGOP’s repeated track record of deceit and obstructionism, I have blind copied several Republican leaders here in Arizona and at the RNC as “witnesses” in hopes this resolution isn’t sabotaged like resolutions were in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

I also encourage those individuals to volunteer to be the Chairman and Committee Members of the Resolutions Committee so the chicanery Robert Graham and Chad Heywood pulled in 2014 and 2015 doesn’t happen again. And let’s not forget the serious ethics violations and chicanery perpetrated by Al Gage, Robert Graham and the AZGOP at the Arizona Republican Party’s (AZGOP) Annual Meeting that was held on January 23, 2016.

Please note that Al Gage, Robert Graham and the AZGOP are currently under investigation for serious ethics violations of Robert’s Rules of Order and the AZGOP Bylaws based on an extensive complaint that was filed with the appropriate authorities
shortly after the January 23, 2016, meeting.

AZGOP State Convention Delegates’ Resolution  Demanding Chairman Robert Graham Resign

We, the 2016 State Convention Delegates of the Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP) are obligated to hold all of our leaders accountable for their actions.  Only in times of great crisis or betrayal is it necessary to publicly censure our leaders. Today we are faced with both in as much Robert Graham is by far one of the worst Party Chairman the AZGOP has ever endured.  So with conviction we rise and declare:

WHEREAS, Chairman Robert Graham

has continued to violate the Arizona Revised Statutes, the Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party, the bylaws of several of the County and Legislative District Republican Committees, and the latest Edition of Robert’s Rules of Order; and

has repeatedly disregarded and disrespected the will of an overwhelming majority of the AZGOP State and Precinct Committeemen; and

has conducted dictatorial actions that have been calculated and an insidious conspiracy – including but not limited to the AZGOP 2016 State Convention – for his personal benefit, the benefit of his cronies and the Republican establishment cabal.

BE IT RESOLVED that Robert Graham’s constant intimidation, bullying, overreach and unilateral policies will no longer be tolerated;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the AZGOP State Convention Delegates censure Robert Graham for his continued disservice to our Party, State and Nation;

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED the AZGOP State Convention Delegates have lost confidence in Robert Graham, will no longer support him or his actions and demand his immediate resignation.

  1. Longtime GOP PC says:

Count me as a state delegate who was duped by Robert Graham and saw his fakery first hand when he shuttled delegates out of the 2015 statutory state meeting on a pretense to sneak McCain and Flake and a pack of McCain’s Vietnamese supporters into the auditorium. Disgracefully, they were waving the flags of the nation they were happy to leave and nearly 60 thousand American lives were lost to give them the opportunity.

Bravo to A.J. LaFaro for his integrity and spine. Those are qualities that have been discarded by the Republican Party hierarchy. Now these same party elites on the national level are trying to subvert the vote of the people in state after state by angling for a brokered convention this summer. Mitt Romney has been active in pushing losing candidates Rubio in Florida and Kasich in Ohio, in order to throw a wrench in both primaries. If they try to shove squish Speaker Paul Ryan down our throats, I’ll be reregistering after decades as a Republican activist.

  2. SuzanneC says:

McCain and Flake are teaching them well. Beware all, the nasty fingerprints of both are shining bright.

  3. American Patriot says:

Good going, AJ!! We need to clone you!
The go-along-to-get-along gaggle needs to pay attention to see what courageous leadership looks like.

  4. Frankly Speaking says:

Drudge headlines that billionaire radical leftist George Soros is so distressed with Trump’s surge that he’s pouring $13 million into the campaigns of Hillary and other Democrats.

WND reported on the fact that John McCain has been funded by Soros since 2001. lists a guide to the leftwing groups Soros funds. He was instrumental in generating the anarchist protestors at the recent Trump rallies and the Ferguson, Missouri riots among scores of other violent demonstrations. How fascinating is it that Soros , McCain and Hillary are all aligned? Still Robert Graham remains in McCain’s hip pocket.

    • lowadobian says:

Don’t forget Flake. Soros poured over $1 million dollars in multiple donations to Flake’s campaign through his DSCC. DSCC is one of the Soros SuperPACs funding Hillary. What does it stand for? Democratic Senate Congress Committee. He funds Democrats and leftist Republican Candidates to obtain the goal. Ergo Flakes bought & paid for “behavior”. Soros funded MoveOn, the radical Trump rally ” protesters” for $2.5 million.Find it all at campaign reporting.

  5. Saguaro Sam says:

Here’s hoping that the energy that Trump has brought to the political scene will help some of the others grow some –let’s just say—nerve.

    Just saw this:
Finally discovered a way to keep all the disrupters out of Trump’s events:
Let’s just call the events ‘Job Fairs’
    The miscreants will flee.

And, if you really want to know how the Chicago PD feels about what happened in Chicago last Friday night, check out and scroll down about 5 entries to the one entitled About Last Night and dated Saturday, March 12.

One officer said that prior to the scheduled Trump rally, about 70% of CPD officers were For Trump. After CPD top brass and Rahm Emmanuel hung the officers out to dry on Friday night, about 90% of officers are not For Trump.
It is startling to read about the decay of Chicago through the eyes of CPD officers.

    • Saguaro Sam says:

Mayor Typographical Error in above entry:
Should read: About 90% of CPD officers are NOW for Trump.

      • Paul Marchant says:

Lmfbo laughing my freaking butt off. i need to start followning you on twitter. if you see a guy with a job fair sign at the next rally, it will be me, plagerizing brilliant thought.

  6. Rob Haney says:

Robert Graham epitomizes what the voting public now recognizes as the wealthy, arrogant, Republican Establishment Ruling Class. The deceit and dishonesty have finally hit the fan. John McCain’s surrogates are being rejected throughout the country.

Rubio is the picture boy of this phenomenon. Rubio was flying high until he reversed course to back McCain’s illegal alien amnesty legislation. Graham was also flying high until he hitched his caboose to John McCain’s train of deceit.

We have had enough. It is time for Graham and McCain to go.
Thank you AJ for leading the way. I thought it was pathetic when Graham tried to take credit for the legislation against ballot harvesting while not even mentioning your name. If it had not been for your exposure of the ballot harvesting activity, we would still be subject to this voting fraud. No thanks to Robert Graham.

Closing Republican primaries was the directive Graham had been given repeatedly and overwhelmingly by the precinct committeemen throughout the state. That task was solely Graham’s responsibility. He failed completely and disregarded the directive in favor of following John McCain’s wishes. That is something you can take credit for, Robert. You killed the Republican closed primary directive. Congratulations.

    • CD 8 PC says:

Your honestly has always been refreshing, Rob. I was proud to support you both times you ran for and overwhelmingly won the Maricopa County Republican Chairmanship. Your integrity has never been questioned. AJ LaFaro is cut from the same cloth. I’m grateful to you both. Exposing McCain and his sycophantic allies like Robert Graham and Jeff Flake is essential for conservatives to continue to thrive in Arizona.
Go Dr. Kelli Ward! !! She is our best bet to replace the lying RINO.

  7. Doc says:

robert graham IS the reason I am no longer a PC. However, having since moved, & seeing this kind of action taken by Mr. LaFaro, I am working on being a PC again.

…graham needs to be arrested, taken to Sheriff Joe’s lock-up, & placed in gen-pop. I’m certain he’ll do so well there, & receive an education there as well. Those men don”t give a rip about his “connection” to mcTraitor.

If I ever get the opportunity to meet Mr. LaFaro, I’ll have a bottle of Maker’s Mark for him. He deserves it, 300%!

Lastly, to Mr. Haney, my I add something to your comment above, Sir? You wrote, “You killed the Republican closed primary directive. Congratulations.”. I’d add, “Congratulations, richard knoggen.”

  8. Hunter says:

A fundamental problem with the Arizona State GOP organization is that, essentially, the chairman DOES own the party according to the by-laws. There should be by-law changes giving more authority to the other officers and Executive Committee. The chairman should not have the authority to run everything by personal decree.

This is not just a problem with the current chairman. It is also a structural problem that needs to be fixed to avoid these problems regardless of who the chairman is. Of course, this chairman makes the problem much more visible.
