Billions of US dollars sent as remittances….

….in addition to foreign aid

Former five-term Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) knows a thing or two about illegal immigration.  In 2003, before most people were focused on the issue, the grandson of legal Italian immigrants introduced the Mass Immigration Reduction Act, which imposed an immigration moratorium, granting legalized status to spouses of U.S. citizens or priority workers. By 2007, Tancredo’s advocacy for strictly enforcing immigration laws was well-known.

Previously, in 2004, he spoke out against the practice of sending cash remittances.

In a recent Breitbart article titled: Stop Remittances to Reduce Illegal Immigration, Improve National Security, Tancredo again calls for a halt to the practice that allows tens of billions of American dollars to routinely be sent to India and China, both of which outpace Mexico — which raked in nearly $24.8 billion in 2015 alone — more money than Mexico makes from oil revenues.

Muslim countries including Egypt, Bangladesh, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Somalia receive incalculable amounts in remittances annually — sent by relatives living in the US. These countries are not benign bystanders. They have longstanding ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, PLO and Jihadist groups including al-Qaeda and ISIS affiliates.

This fact-filled Fox News report is five years old, but details the Muslim/Arab nations that routinely vote against the United States in the United Nations, yet still get billions of taxpayer-funded foreign aid.

This is an issue of extreme urgency. American which is $20 trillion in debt is double funding the world by allowing these remittances and continuing foreign aid to our enemies. We should know by now it’s impossible to buy friendship and alliances. Obama talks about a “coalition” joining us in the fight against terrorism (which he refuses to call out as fundamental Islamic) Our foreign aid has bought us no coalition.
Stir in the unvetted Muslim “refugees” that Barack Hussein Obama is allowing to flood the USA and the disastrous potential becomes even more defined.

This IS an issue of extreme urgency. But with the gang of thieves, crooks and thugs we have in D.C. – both parties – liberal and “conservative” like Paul Ryan, who have shown us since GWBush was elected in 2000 that they’re for big government and they haven’t even tried to rein it in. I have no big hopes for this country the way things are going. The elected representatives pretend to listen to us but we literally don’t matter anymore. They’ve shown it over and over. We are America in decline, economically and morally.

Trump’s plan is regurgitated Tancredo. He has no original thoughts. He’s been a Democrat, Independent and now a Republican. His thoughts come from everywhere.

      • azgary says:

tell me one idea thats original?

Reagan was a democrat, divorced and his thoughts came from everywhere, he was also vilified and name called very much as you do to Trump here,

      • Saguaro Sam says:

Do you go through life never using your grey matter to ponder, consider, re-consider, and possibly change your mind? Have you not evolved?

You noted that . . . .”thoughts come from everywhere.”

That same statement could describe our Founding Fathers, who considered the good and bad of many leaders from the beginning of time.

If you take the time to research information on the books that George Washington and Jefferson read and referenced in their writings, you would understand that original thoughts without historical reference will not get you far in this life.

Speaking of books, check out a new one entitled “Washington’s Immortals”. It’s about the American Revolutionary war, focusing on the men who paid the highest price for liberty. Would we be that selfless, humble, and brave?

    • Realist says:

Reagan was a Democrat who came to the realization that the Democrat Party was no longer representative of his views. He wasn’t a political opportunist (whore) as Donald Trump is. Reagan was a conservative long before he ran for governor of California. He spoke on behalf of Barry Goldwater’s presidential campaign. Nancy Reagan was never a nude model and Reagan was a well spoken gentleman who enspired optimism not a bully who enspires people like you to emulate his name calling and insults. He bragged he could kill someone in broad daylight and still be elected. Not with my vote.

      • azgary says:

LOL Trump is a realist who understands his grandchildren need a resurgent America.

oh my, he has a model for a wife, are you really that prude? the rest of your scree is silly because you deny the context?

You need your own blog. Trolling this one wins you and consequently your views, no admiration.

      • azgary says:

if you dislike people stating opinions, perhaps you should start a blog so its only your echo chamber and you can silence all opposition.

        how very constitutional of you

Curiously missing in action from this “Shameful Seven” Last Refuge comment are John McAmnesty and Jeff the Flake, the worst of the worst any day of the week. As I recall they were responsible for putting together the shameful Gang of Eight RINO and Dem amnesty traitors. Why do they get a pass?

      • azgary says:

well, because the comment was about mississippi and thad cochran and the gope/uniparty disenfranchising voters, stealing the election from chris mcdaniel, the same way the gope/uniparty and their henchmen like rafael are doing to disenfranchise voters by stealing the nomination and election from Trump. very similar to what the azgop and little rafael graham, I mean robby graham and rafael “goldman sachs” cruz are trying here in az.

        context is your friend

Your one trick pony routine is getting tedious. Did you learn your puerile name calling from Trump or did he pick up the dispicable habit from you?

Seeing Red AZ has long been a favorite site for me. I supect you have an ulterior motive and are attempting to drive people away from the site. My defense is to skip over the majority of your inane comments that add nothing to a reasoned discussion. You have shown an inability to engage in a mature discussion.
