College students find nothing exceptional about U.S.

George Washington University students — attending a $50,000 a year school — find nothing exceptional about the United States. Citing “Christopher Columbus, colonialism and westward expansion” as negatives, students had difficulty finding anything positive to say about the nation that has afforded them the freedoms people in other societies only dream of.

The university was named in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States and the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.  Washington would no doubt have been horrified to hear such ill-informed students, lacking the ability to comprehend  the greatness they so flippantly undervalue.

These elitist fools would have regarded the optimistic spirit and deep gratitude that Ronald Reagan had for this country he called “the shining city on the hill” as cloyingly absurd. Their own parents were children when Reagan was first elected president (1980), so they have no personal knowledge of what his presidency represented to so many Americans. The fact that these students have no pride in America is the fault of their parents, who failed to instill such a basic value and especially the far left union teachers who instill them with negativity towards the USA on a daily basis. This very short video includes some potent facts about the Teacher’s Unions whose members have basically raised America’s children to be leftists themselves. Think of this when you vote on the farce of Prop. 123, supported by the teachers, but not by conservatives.

The reality is also that what College/University meant before no longer applies. It used to mean a higher level of academic achievement and a strong level of native intelligence resident in the individual applying. No more. It’s fast becoming a “trade school” where a job skill has to be guaranteed by the Institution. Anything goes and anybody gets in. Sound familiar? Same mantra as “You deserve a house!” (No, you don’t. You earn it. Literally.) America saw what happened there, didn’t we? (No, not really.) It was mean banks who made the unqualified seek out what they were too stupid to stay away from while they held dearly to the concept of “deserving” because the media said so. Now, it’s the new debt bubble – Higher learning. Notice the big boo-hoo’s in the media about “student debt”. Are the darlings working their way through school? Nope. Do all of the Gov’t school loan sites have big warnings on every page “Do not borrow more than you can afford. You have to pay it back.” (Mommy, what does “afford” mean?) Stupid and spoiled is institutionalized in this country. Anyone seen the Watters clip on Fox? In a “man on the street” format, virtually none of the Harvard students could answer “Who is the Vice-President of the United States?”, “Who is the Secretary of State?” and the whopper “Who is currently running for President?”
At Harvard. Harvard University. Say no more.

National Review’s Kevin D. Williamson wrote a stellar article about this liberal school and its lax policies as they relate to the proliferation of swastikas but the attention given to fake hate crimes. The conclusion is the innocent are punished while the perps are given a pass since the Left wants the absurd to be considered hate crimes (ie: calling a man in a dress a man in a dress).
Parents who send their children to this faux institute of higher learning are being deceived and grossly overcharged.

These precious snowflakes will find out what people in third world countries already know , if we cannot get back to following our founding documents.

And speaking of George Washington, if you have not read the book entitled “Washington’s Immortals”, it is very much worth your time.

“But Mary Tobin, a West Point graduate and mentor who knows the students, said they were simply celebrating their forthcoming graduation as a shared accomplishment, like a sports team raising helmets after a win.”

All black – raised fists – is like “raising helmets after a win.” ?? How about the fact that it appeared racist. West Point is taxpayer-paid and difficult to get into. Rather than show the taxpayers some respect – they flipped them off.

By the way, there was no punishment. I’m sure that wouldn’t be the case, nor should it be, if they were all White with white hoods on their heads.

We’ve all seen the bumper stickers that say, “If you can read this, thank a teacher.” You can also thank liberal teachers for producing young adults this vacuous and undereducated.

THIS is where the mega $millions in teacher’s union dues go:

Bet these students know all about the disputed science of global warming (now called climate change since the warming turned out to be cooling and part of a normal weather fluctuation pattern ) and transgender “rights” that allow men in women’s restrooms. I just moved all of our prescriptions out of the Target pharmacy because of their new policy allowing men in the ladie’s room, if that’s their choice. I took an extra few minutes to have the manager paged so I could tell her that my business was gone and why. Target has seen the last of our family. Between school clothes, and supplies, prescriptions. Household products and other goods such as frames, kitchenware etc, gifts and occasionally groceries (very high priced) we easily spend thousands there a year. No more……
