Following the law is for others, not Democrat elites
When even left-wing CNN calls the Phoenix Sky Harbor tarmac private meeting between Bill Clinton and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch ‘Incredibly bad judgment,’ it’s clear that the curtain is just rising on the theater of the devious.
It’s being reported that the controversial meeting earlier this week was not quite as serendipitous as we have been led to believe — just a chat about grandkids and golfing weather. Which raises the question why Clinton would long to golf in Phoenix’ triple digit temperatures.
Former Secretary of State and Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is the focus of an FBI investigation regarding her private email server reportedly located in a bathroom closet in her home, bypassing the State Department’s security system and jeopardizing national security.
In the midst of the ongoing disclosures, Loretta Lynch — the nation’s top law enforcement officer — thought it appropriate to meet with former president Bill Clinton who is a material witness in the investigation since many of his wife’s emails concerned the Clinton Foundation, the family moneymaking machine. Observer News reports that Bill Clinton maneuvered for the tête-à-tête with the attorney general, since his plane had been scheduled to depart before hers arrived. The former Arkansas attorney general and the U.S. Attorney are both too legally savvy to have considered this clandestine get together would be appropriate in advance of Hillary’s imminent interview with the FBI concerning her cavalier handling of classified information.
Calls for Loretta Lynch to resign or at the least recuse herself have been reverberating since news of the inappropriate private meeting broke. Lynch, who now concedes, “I certainly wouldn’t do it again,” now says she “will follow the FBI and DOJ’s decisions” elevating the influence of FBI director James Comey in the multiple investigations. Comey appears to be a straight shooter.
Hillary Clinton‘s aides are already being deposed. The Daily Caller reports the interview with Hillary will take place today — most likely at her Washington, DC, home.
Exactly the same way any of the rest of us would be treated.
