Remembering our many blessings, responsibilities this Independence Day

4th of July Washington

….and honoring those 56 brave men who had the vision and strength of character to challenge authority and affix their signatures to the Declaration of Independence.

Before signing the Declaration of Independence, our Founders included this memorable line:

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

Now, 240 years later, we face tyranny from an overreaching federal government and judiciary intent on abolishing our Constitutional rights —- as well as inconceivably weakening our nation’s sovereign border—- in fact, welcoming America’s illegal invaders as a dominant political force.

Our freedom is slipping away as Washington’s intrusive power grows. The principles on which our nation was founded have never been more at risk as the federal government encroaches on our personal health care, increases taxes, oppresses our families with unsustainable national debt, attempts to negotiate rationally with contemptible regimes while gutting our national defense. Our Second Amendment freedoms are being curtailed. The Obama administration steadfastly refuses to call Islamic extremism by its name as increasingly gruesome acts are committed by its adherents and ISIS recruitment surges. Unable to be vetted “refugees” from terror sponsoring nations are granted unfettered access to our country by Barack Obama and his willing congressional cohorts.

We American citizens have a moral responsibility to let our voices be heard. This is a contact list of those who ran promising to represent us. We pay their salaries.  Give them a call.

May God continue to bless America.

In response to a discrimination lawsuit, a California judge ruled this past week that the Christian Mingle dating site must offer same sex dating options to homosexuals. Is this progress?

    Independence Day, RIP

Someday soon, our progressive politicians will propose celebrating the first Monday in July as Global Interdependence Day, and no one will protest as long as it includes barbecues and fireworks.

It’s sobering to ask, who is really celebrating independence?

Our schools no longer teach our children the meaning of the Declaration of Independence.

Our elected officials no longer protect our sovereignty.

Our courts do not recognize or even comprehend God-given “unalienable rights” for which the patriots of 1776 pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.

Our professors, priests and “futurists” are so enamored of “global citizenship” they see individual rights as an anachronism.

Multiculturalism is not an idea to be debated, it’s the new orthodoxy to be obeyed. Or else!

And so, is it any wonder that independence has a low standing in our hierarchy of “values”?

    From the post:

One problem. Three words are missing after “willing congressional cohorts.” The three words? OF BOTH PARTIES. The open border crowd includes both John McCain and Jeff Flake, and previously, Jon Kyl. Members of congress are also part of the scheme.
AZ US Reps. Gosar, Salmon and Schweikert co-authored a piece that ran in the AZ Repukelic newspaper that advanced the bogus notion that illegal aliens are nothing more than immigrants who contribute to our society. It They also put forth guidelines that only a fool would take seriously. The trio might be elected as Republicans, but on this issue they all sound like cunning Democrats trying to sell us a load of bullsh*t and telling us it’s gold bullion. I’ve had no respect fr any of them since I read their slickery. We also cancelled our subscription to the newspaper since it was clear they are under the editorial board’s boot. If they had written something assailing illegals it never would have gotten published let alone awarded prominent placement.

And that’s why candidate Donald J Trump is uniquely qualified to be the one person who can stand up to these insanely self-serving interests and remove their influence.

That’s why all entities around the political sphere despise him.

Donald Trump is adverse to their interests. Trump’s “America First” platform is adverse to their interests. Trump represents an existential threat to their decades long grip on power…. all of it, both branches of the UniParty.

There are trillions of dollars at stake.
