Meluskey polls at 4% but willing to siphon votes to aid McCain

AZ U.S. Senate candidate Meluskey hides from GOP label

Modeling himself after John McCain, Alex Meluskey has novel ways of asking for campaign donations. After previously addressing email recipients with a boorish “Hey,” he derisively lectures potential donors, “it’s time we all have skin in the game.”  What Meluskey is actually saying is that his mainly self-funded campaign is running out of $team. According to the most recent FEC filings, 86.4% of his campaign has been self funded. Only 9% of his money comes from itemized individual contributions — a short list filled with relatives, retirees, and out-of-state donors. Operating expenditures are high — donors sparse.

Meluskey, obviously not generating the money necessary to run a formidable campaign, characterizes himself as a “conservative outsider.” He hits it out of the park with the outsider description, since he only registered as a Republican when he decided to run. Previously he was a PND — Party Not Designated. The descriptive term “Republican” is missing from his website and literature. Prior to gearing up for this race, he’s shown zero interest in the Republican Party.  Meluskey also plays fast and loose with the truth, distorting the record and photo images of Dr. Kelli Ward, as he pretentiously compares himself to Ronald Reagan.

This PPP survey of Arizona voters shows John McCain at “serious risk of losing the nomination,” polling at only 39% in the Republican primary field. He’s benefiting from having multiple opponents as enabler Meluskey is keenly aware. Many political observers believe that’s exactly why he’s in the race.

Censured by elected leaders of his own party, John McCain has not only worn out his welcome among Arizona voters, he is viewed as the least popular U.S. Senator nationwide. That’s a record McCain has to fight to maintain, since his doppelgänger Jeff Flake previously won the undesirable prize just three months after taking office. Arizonans don’t deserve one such embarrassment — let alone two.

Rather than assisting an actual conservative, Meluskey appears to be  working double time to either keep the status quo or aid Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick.

Polling shows Dr. Kelli Ward at 26%, Alex Meluskey at 4% and Clair Van Steenwyk at 2% with 27% undecided. In a head-to-head match up between McCain and Ward, the two are tied at 41%. Ward is polling this competitively at this point despite having lesser name recognition. A former state senator and a Lake Havasu City physician, she has the experience to retool Obamacare and the integrity to make Arizonans proud of their senate representation. After repeatedly being directed to drink the amnesty Kool Aid by  Sens. Kyl, McCain and Flake, wouldn’t that be a novel concept for Arizonans?

It’s critical that voters get up to speed on the ongoing deception. SRAZ has covered Meluskey previously in these posts:

Flake paid for by the Clinton crime family. Must run in the family. Soros must be proud.

    • Conservative Since Birth says:

This snowflake is calling the shots from his living room. He refused to go to the convention so he has no right to criticize what goes on there.

Here’s hoping Trump crushes Hillary in November.

      • E Michael Gannon says:

Mind your own business, Flakey. 2 more years and you’re out of here too. Besides, aren’t you supposed to be cutting your lawn?

There comes a time when those of us who want to get rid of McCain need to join together. I don’t know if Meluskey or Van Steenwyk are truly inspired in their run or if they are part of a McCain program to split the vote. Maybe a little of both.

We are getting close to the primary and if they loose us this chance to beat McCain then their name must be remembered. I have talked to Van Steenwyk and he seems to relish his position as a plug in the campaign process.

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

Van Steenwyk has big campaign signs posted on just about every corner in that district.

More on Jeff Flake, today. Could it be that he wants to be Hill’s VP?
    Go ahead, Jeff—–jump!

Jeff the Flake is less than worthless. I agree with your assessment of his aspirations.

Listening to Rush – he stated that the Bush people, with establishment elites are expecting Trump to fail and then they are already planning to rebuild the Republican party with them as the head (dictators). So it seems Flake, McCain, Ryan, McConnell, etc are now starting their plan to do just that. Once again all for power and to hell to America. We the People must stop them!

Me me-Meluskey is such an egotist, he’s even printed up a 12 page newspaper about himself and distributes it to “the folks” who he apparently realizes have never heard of him. This vomitous spew is more than anyone wants to know or could stomach reading. Have never seen anything quite like Me-me-Meluskey.

O/T Just plain funny, and they have even created a website. Flippin’ hilarious.

    Heads Up!
The (female) attorney general of Massachusetts has just changed the guns law in that State. All by herself, she dropped a load of crap on the citizens.

This, on the heels of what went down in California earlier in July, should be of concern to us.
It seems to have gone completely under the radar that the CA state legislature had passed a package of several restrictive gun laws, and Jerry Brown rushed to sign it as he rushed out of the State for vacation. Surely HE has armed bodyguards in the form of police officers—–so he’s safe and sound.

It got very little attention from the press.

Ever notice how the current admin and its thugclowns get things done at 5pm on Fridays? Better yet, Fridays before a holiday weekend, or when other major new events are breaking.
    Dangerous cowards.

Thanks McCain – yes you have plenty of blood on your hands!

Vote Kelli Ward to STOP this insanity!!

    • American Patriot says:

I firmly believe that Alex Meluskey is nothing more than a sham candidate intending to split the votes enough to push John McCain over the top. It will be a tight race and a few votes might be all that’s needed to give McCain the necessary boost to continue to screw us all over. He and Jeff Flake have made it clear they intend to bring back their eight gangster amnesty scam once again. If elderly RINO McCain manages to get back into office for another six years, Meluskey should be shunned.

Yes! Yes! Vote for Kelli Ward. Engage your neighbors, your relatives, your grocer, the mail carrier and dry cleaner. We must get the word out. This is a crucial election for our state and the future of our citizens.

  10. Observer says:

Alex Meluskey is a repackaged Jimmie Lee Deakin, who was integral to McCain’s previous win. Deakin’s house was in the process of being foreclosed. After the election, his home was magically saved.
