McCain hustles for dough, lies, hides from debates

The email solicitations for funds are coming fast and furiously from John McCain. His consultants must be charging him by the word, since the last begging missives have shortened the salutations from “My friend” to simply “Friend.”

McCain is not cash strapped. Bankrolled with $ millions, he pays handsomely for strategists to conceive new desperation ploys to rake in money — bolstering reliable lobbyist cash flows — which in turn is spent on commercials that shamefully engage in blatant lies aimed at his primary opponent Dr. Kelli Ward.

As an example, are claims that while in the state senate she voted to imperil our military and embolden ISIS. Kelli Ward is a military wife.  Her husband is a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and is the flight surgeon for the Arizona Air National Guard. State legislators don’t vote on issues of national security. The U.S. Congress where McCain has spent over three decades, does. McCain not only lies, but insults the intelligence of Arizona voters with these contemptible falsehoods.

Dr. Ward, a family practice physician and conservative former state senator has challenged McCain to a debate prior to the Aug. 30 Primary Election, but the 80-year-old McCain running for his sixth 6-year term, has remained mute.

During the Republican National Convention which Ward attended but John McCain and Jeff Flake peevishly boycotted, Ward told the Arizona Republic:

“Senator McCain and his cronies in the Arizona Grassroots Action PAC have spent over $2 million attacking me, so obviously, Senator McCain has something he wants to say. I think he should say it to me, to my face. He should man up, stop stabbing me in the back, and let’s get the policy out on the table and in front of the people of Arizona.”

The newspaper reported “a spokeswoman from McCain’s reelection campaign did not respond to its request for comment on Ward’s debate challenge.

In 2004 McCain willingly engaged in a debate with perpetually losing Democrat candidate  Stuart Starky a middle school teacher who presented no threat, but played the same duck and dodge games with conservative former congressman J.D. Hayworth. Hayworth finally embarrassed McCain onto a debate stage, though McCain’s stooge Jimmie Lee Deakin shared the dais.

Dr. Kelli Ward will also fight back  She’s intelligent, conservative, knowledgeable on the issues while displaying a healthy dose of grit. What an asset she’d be in the U.S. Senate as Obamacare gets overhauled.

This was the honest assessment of presidential candidate John McCain’s mother back in 2008, when she was asked about his level of support within the base of the Republican Party.

It hasn’t gotten any better in the intervening years. The nation’s lowest esteemed senator, McCain has actually been censured by the elected officials of his own party at the annual statewide statutory meeting.

We can do better. When Dr. Kelli Ward (video) says, “Send a fresh, new voice to the U.S. Senate: Let’s shake up Washington together,” you know those are not hollow words. It’s time for a change, Arizona.

John McCain is a liar and political coward, only participating in forums he can control. He and Jeff Flake scheduled one here at the Mesa Arts Center a couple of years ago. It was so tightly controlled Arizona citizens who pay their salaries were denied access. Tickets were only given to supporters who would not embarrass them. Thanks for this important post, SRAZ.

  2. Kathy says:

Maybe Dr. Kelli Ward should have a debate with an empty chair (Clint Eastwood style) because if McCain did show that’s what she would be debating. All “Empty coward chair” McCain would do is ” lie ” there anyway. OR better yet maybe build a fence around the :Empty coward chair” McCain – since that is what he is hiding behind by closed doors meetings with Chamber of Commerce, closed door town halls (where-ever they are), closed door meetings with LaRaza, closed door meetings with Soros, etc.

    • State Delegate says:

This would definitely show McCain for the dodgy liar he is. The only drawback is no media entity will televise a one candidate “debate.” Kelli Ward needs to make a video, post it to her website, send it out to supporters and get it up on YouTube. I’d bet the farm Seeing Red AZ would post it in a heartbeat!

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

I like Kathy’s idea, posted above, regarding a debate with an empty chair. Just add a small-sized pair of highly polished tasseled loafers on the floor, to leave no doubt.

Meanwhile, Trump gave a press conference this morning.
    Included was this statement:

. . .”I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history. His views of the world, as he says, don’t jive and the world is a mess. You look what is happening with migration, with Syria, with Libya, with Iraq, with everything he’s touched. He has been a disaster as a president. He will go down as one of the worst presidents in the history of our country. It is a mess. And I believe Hillary Clinton will be even worse. ”

    Trump went on to say,

“When President Obama entered office he didn’t know anything and today he knows less.”

Watch the fur fly over this one.
Obama the supreme narcissist cannot tolerate even a perceived slight, let alone a major dose of truth serum.

Interesting, the Feds today announce that John Hinckley, who tried to kill President Reagan will be released after being held for decades in a psychiatric hospital.
Allegedly to the care of his very elderly mother who lives in beautiful, historic Williamsburg, Virginia.

    The timing is suspicious, eh?

Russia Published Hacked Hillary Emails in 2013 – DNC Fears They Will Release 20,000 More Before Election
According to an earlier report, beginning in 2011, the Russians began monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he attempted, unsuccessfully, to break into the computer system of the Russian funded RT television network.

After monitoring Guccifer, the Russians were reportedly able to record (both physically and electronically) his actions which allowed the Russian intelligence analysts, in 2013, to not only detect his breaking into the private computer of Secretary Clinton, but also break in and copy all of its contents as well.

The report notes that shortly after Russia obtained Clinton’s emails, they released a limited amount to RT TV which were published in an article in March 2013, titled–

Hillary Clinton’s ‘hacked’ Benghazi emails: FULL RELEASE.

Apparently no Western journalists promoted this story in 2013.

A couple of years later, in 2016, the US then brought in Guccifer for questioning related to this incident. According to the report, NBC News knew why Guccifer was being questioned but withheld this information from the American public.

The Associated Press reported in October 2015 that “Hillary Clinton’s private email server maintained in her home while serving as secretary of State was possibly hacked by Russia-tied authorities, and others, on five separate occasions.”

The AP report noted that investigators discovered among Clinton’s cache of released emails malicious software aimed at transmitting data to three overseas computers, including at least one in Russia. This malicious software was reportedly activated by clicking on it; but in October it was not clear if Clinton actually opened these messages or not, per the AP.

Recently separate reports have come out noting that Guccifer had indeed hacked Clinton’s emails. Now according to this latest report, Clinton’s server was not only compromised by Guccifer but also by Russia. Guccifer told FOX News last week that he hacked Hillary’s homebrew server and so did at least 10 others.

      Now this…
US officials are closely monitoring Russian blogs and media for any signs of more Hillary Clinton emails.
      The Washington Times reported:

U.S. intelligence agencies are said to be closely watching Russian online blogs and other postings for any signs that Moscow hackers have covertly obtained the bulk of Hillary Clinton’s email messages stolen from her private email server and are preparing to make them public.

A U.S. intelligence official told Inside the Ring that the indications of the email release are being closely watched, although the veracity of at least two postings on the matter could not be confirmed as authoritative.

A State Department official has said Russia is one of at least three foreign governments likely to have obtained the full content of the former secretary of state’s server through covert hacking operations. The other two are China and Israel.

Russian intelligence agencies are suspected of cyberintrusions that obtained sensitive political information contained in Democratic National Committee networks. Last week, reports surfaced that computer networks of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation were also compromised, also by Russian hackers.

  4. William Heuisler says:

The Border Patrol Union boss was on Garrett Lewis’ radio show this morning. His name is Judd. He has endorsed McCain in spite of the fact “most” BP Agents dislike John McCain due to 2005 “McCain Kennedy”, 2013 “Gang of 8”, Amnesty, etc. and his smug hypocrisy about the “Dang Fence”.

(“Most” = many friends of mine, many heated conversations and probably a near unanimous opinion on McCain among BP Agents and local cops in general). Go ask one.

Garrett asked Judd why he (his Union) endorsed McCain. Judd said he “…disagrees with McCain on some issues”, but McCain had recently gotten the Agency lots of Federal money.

So McCain bought the BP Agents Union Boss with our tax money.

If you all don’t do anything else next month, mark the 30th of August and take all your friends to vote for Kelli Ward……. Please.

    • Observer says:

McCain buys support (with taxpayer money) and always has. He also is well known for his violent temper and vindictiveness. People are afraid to cross him. If they all stood in unified opposition there would be safety in numbers and too many for his hit list.

He has personally called state legislators and mayors to garner their support. They are too weak kneed to say no, so he is able to send out lists of “Supporters.” They should be labeled, “Fraidy Cats for McCain.”

      • Rob Haney says:

Observer, you are absolutely correct. Can anyone in the Seeing Red AZ audience name one Republican elected official who came out publicly to expose John McCain for the destructive force he has been to the Republican Party?

Professional organizations have a method for getting rid of their bad eggs, but they could not do it without their leaders saying they have had enough from one of their own and therefore, are going to publicly remove him from their ranks.

The Republican leadership have no problem doing this to conservatives, but are loathe to do the same to liberals.

      • Hometown Guy says:

None of the AZ Congressional so called representatives actually represent us. Once elected, they represent themselves and their desire to hang on to the cushy jobs they have. They fall into lockstep on amnesty/ forgiveness for the invading hordes who sap our resources/taxpayer paid benefits, and turn neighborhoods into the barrios they left behind in Mexico and Central America.

Assimilation? That’s a passe notion. Today we are supposed to celebrate diversity, which has led to BLM gangsters taking over American streets and shooting our police officers.

We have elected hardliner campaigners, who become soft weenies once in office. And taking on McCain? Never happen! They fear his retribution, not respect him.

We’ve been had. I didn’t just fall off the turnip truck and strongly believe Dr. Kelli Ward will be different. I’ve heard her speak several times and she’s obviously intelligent. She’s also approachable and encourages dialogue. What a novel concept!!

I would love to see John McCain bounced just as his Wisconsin buddy Democrat buddy Russ Feingold was and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was. Cantor was so arrogant he was shell shocked when Prof. David Brat put him away. Hope the same thing happens to Paul Ryan who is being challenged by Paul Nehlen, a conservative businessman.

  5. Longtime GOP PC says:

McCain’s ads are aimed at Dr. Kelli Ward (Republican) and Ann Kirkpatrick (Democrat). He’s covering the Primary, for sure, but acting as if he is in a tough race against the Dem. Exactly the opposite is true at this pre-Primary point. McCain is running scared….. of Kelli Ward. How many ads has he run against Van the Radio Man or Alex Meluskey? Nada one, because they are nonentities. They serve only to take votes from Dr. Ward. Meluskey is dumping a whole lot of money in his campaign and has very few donors. I suspect there’s more to this than meets the eye. What’s the payoff for being a spoiler?

  6. Saguaro Sam says:

The radio ads which reveal that the US Border Patrol union supports John McCain are vomit-inducing.

If for no other reason than for the soul of USBP agent Brian Terry, we must defeat McAmnesty.

Time to Say Thank You and Goodbye to Sen. McCain

John McCain was a pilot in Viet Nam and there is no question that he and his fellow POWs suffered immeasurably in the Hanoi Hilton. For that we owe them all a debt of gratitude.
Yet that does not give any one person the right to do harm to our country from a legislative position nor to put others in peril around the world by ill-conceived policy.

Since I have been in Congress, Senator John McCain has pushed an agenda ranging from blanket amnesty for illegal aliens to support for President Barrack Obama’s and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s disastrous Arab Spring endeavors that have made the United States much less safe as a result.

Sen. McCain has been relentless in demanding amnesty for people illegally in this country long before Barrack Obama became president. He has refused to use his vast seniority and political power to safeguard the American people by securing the border, but has, instead, been the best friend law-breaking immigrants in this country could have.

  8. Doc says:

Good morning. I got the following “Off Topic” but Very Important item from DRUDGE:

“But Kaine insisted on Sunday that Clinton’s agenda wouldn’t be “DOA” despite a Republican House because of Ryan.
He noted that Ryan helped solve the 2013 shutdown showdown over defunding Obamacare, and his admiration for Ryan continued after he took the speaker’s gavel from John Boehner last year and helped craft a bipartisan spending bill.
“He wants to do things,” Kaine said. “He wants not just a portrait but he would like a legacy. That’s my belief. There’s going to be room to make some things happen.”

…when the dim-0-crappik V.P. pick says this about the “republican” boolsheet spewer (a.k.a. Speaker of the House), that’s an indication of a serious problem. I know WE HAVE to get State Senator Dr. Kelli Ward elected. But if any of us have a couple extra dollars, we might wanna’ consider sending them to THIS guy:

    …just sayin’…
