Know more about your candidates — follow the money

Today we’re providing our readers with a few interesting sites to peruse. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) enables us to see who’s funding our U.S. House and Senate candidates. John McCain is sitting atop $ millions, much of it  donated by the special interest lobbyists, who have curried his favor over the decades he‘s been in Washington. DC

Open Secrets — The Center for Responsive Politics— is intriguing enough to hold your attention longer than you’d planned. Use the pull down box on the top bar to access what interests you. There will be plenty.

Political Party Time even provides the invitations, describes the type of event and location where it’s being held.  This week shows three pages of upcoming events, with Hillary Clinton as the major recipient. Magic Johnson and Leonardo DiCaprio are hosting fundraisers on her behalf. Think of that when you buy your entertainment tickets. You’re helping to fund candidates you would never vote for.

Statewide candidates? The Secretary of State’s Office has the info. County candidates? Check out your county recorders office. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office enables campaign finance searches.

It’s the weekend. Knock yourself out with an information overload!

The FEC site isn’t what I’d call “user friendly.” It makes me wonder if that’s by design?

    Dr. Kelli Ward, on today

Just yesterday, published a column regarding Mr. Khan (father of Orlando murderer/terrorist) calling on McCain to
    trash Trump.

I can hear McCain, now, on the phone to George Soros, getting his instructions and a promise for a new pile of cash.

    • Maggie says:

God bless Kelli Ward for having the courage to take on John McAwful.

Every time I see one the PAC ads in support of retaining this Democrat masquerading as a Republican, I switch channels. There is no deception too low for McCain to engage in. The ads are filled with obvious lies, such as Ward voting to fund ISIS, when she was in the STATE legislature!! McCain must think we’re all morons and don’t realize that it’s Washington insiders like him who cast votes on national security.

  3. CD 8 PC says:

When state legislative candidates get money from specific industry PACs, how beholden are they to the PAC’s interests? As an individual, I’ve contributed to those whose message I support, but my contributions are not high dollar and I expect nothing more than getting someone I regard highly over the finish line.

Meghan McCain has been given a total make over for her job at Faux. They got her to slim down (surgery?), fixed her up, concealed her tattoos and muzzled her coarse mouth. (She is her father’s daughter after all.) She is clearly the least prepared and keeps glancing at her notes as she tries to engage with the other women and one male guest on “Outnumbered.” It’s Meghan who is outnumbered with her obvious low intelligence. Bottle blonde hair and false eyelashes don’t spike her IQ.
It reeks of insider collusion that she is now a sometimes panelist when her father is running for reelection.

Funding and frauds and cover-ups and John McCain
In the final scrum before the Primary I may be repeating myself, but I’m getting old and these documented facts are worth repeating:

(Assassination, corruption, the Arizona Republic & John McCain)

John McCain’s Arizona (AZ) Republic again endorsed their favorite corrupt, crony Arizona politician for the seventh time.
The Republic also had the colossal nerve to accuse Republican Donald Trump of somehow hinting at assassination.

    And that reminded me…

Kemper Marley has been involved with The AZ Republic for years through Phoenix 40, influence, assassination and a big cover-up.
Kemper Marley’s United Liquors also hired & lavishly funded John McCain through an employee, McCain’s father in law, Jim Hensley.

Arizonans should know their newspaper has covered up for a real assassination. Our beloved AZ Republic covered up the car-bomb assassination of one of their own reporters and also concealed the daytime hit & run slaughter of a woman on a Flower Street cross walk in Phoenix by a drunken AZ Republic Editor.

And funding? The AZ Republic famously covered up when Kemper Marley paid his associate, John Adamson, $50,000 to assassinate Republic Reporter Don Bolles. Adamson confessed the payment in a Maricopa County court and reporter Don Bolles’ last dying words were “Adamson” “Emprise” & “Mafia”.
(Emprise was Kemper Marley’s race track & wire service business) County Attorney, Don Harris (a Marine), publicly said Adamson’s confession and “death-bed” declaration made Marley’s conviction practically certain.

But Bruce Babbitt was AZ’s AG after the Bolles assassination and – on (Marley funded even without opposition) Governor Raul Castro’s orders, stopped County Attorney Donald Harris from empaneling a Grand Jury on murder suspect Kemper Marley by taking the Bolles murder Investigation up to his AG (State) level. Nothing more was done and the AZ Republic remained silent about that assassination.

The Republic’s long-time Editorial Editor, Pat Murphy, was the drunken speeder in the daylight hit-and-run death of an elderly pedestrian named Viola Faber. I investigated her death and the subsequent AZ Republic cover-up. A reporter for the AZ Republic, and rider in Murphy’s car, was interviewed by police. But the AZ Republic squelched the ongoing investigation with threats and promises (to the disgust of many of my Phoenix PD friends).

Remember John McCain’s AZ Republic always covered for Editor Duke Tully’s friends. Duke Tully was an admitted “stolen valor fraud” and was Godfather to Megan McCain. Funding? Tully endorsed 1982 candidate McCain who was donated $53,000 by Kemper Marley.

My novel, “Casual Executions: assassination in Arizona” (Amazon) tells the larger story. The Republic admitted & apologized to me in 1988 (Heuisler vs. Phoenix Newspapers). Court records show Republic Editor Murphy libeled me in numerous columns after my exposing his and the Republic’s personal and political murders.

We have had Kemper Marley, assassinations, corruption cover-ups $53,000 Primaries in 1982… and John McCain.

It’s time to take out the trash, toss out Crony McCain and elect an honorable Senator for our State – Doctor Kelli Ward.

US Senator John McCain: “I know ISIS intimately, I’ve met them and I talk to them all the time.

    • AZ Conservative Guy says:

Terrific video! And McCain’s PAC offensively tries to blame Dr. Kelli Ward for funding ISIS, when was US Sen. John McCain who has spent decades in DC who would have had the ability to vote on national security issues, NOT Kelli Ward.

Arrogant old fool McCain was actually photographed with ISIS terrorists, who he called “freedom fighters” and his “heroes.” He’s ready for a nursing home, not another SIX YEAR senate term.

        Kelli Ward’s terrific video
McCain is “Directly Responsible” for ISIS

  6. Saguaro Sam says:

Lots of new laws go into effect today in Arizona.

One makes it easier for auto insurance companies to drop you as a client.

One lifts the cap on how much you can be charged if you want to buy a car battery, but do not have one to exchange.

Another makes it illegal to drive a motor vehicle when the brake lights or tail lights are not working.

And another is apparently specifically to help Andrew Tobin get a job.

    Take a look:
