Suspense and Hilarity from the Arizona Republic

This morning’s edition of the reliably leftist Arizona Republic has reached into the arena of slapstick comedy  The all caps Page One headline “ON THE OFFENSIVE” tops an oversize photo of a smiling Hillary Clinton in the foreground with a shadowy Donald Trump barely visible behind her.

Centered beneath these in bold red type is this teaser: “Our endorsement.”

“At 6 p.m. today, the Arizona Republic editorial board will announce its endorsement for president of the United States. “

Today’s editorial headline is “Clinton takes down national bully,” making the feigned suspense superfluous.

Readers who would have to be flatlined not to have already guessed the newspaper’s position from months of ongoing derogatory coverage of Donald Trump and selective omissions of difficult to ignore scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton, are directed to the fish wrap’s Facebook page and  website for live coverage.  It will also be available in the Wednesday edition.

The AZ Repulsive is a farce pretending to be a newspaper. I grew up in a Phoenix home where my parents subscribed to the Arizona Republic AND the Phoenix Gazette, which was the afternoon edition. When my dad arrived home from work, he would change his clothes, give us all a hug and ask about our day and then sit in his favorite chair with the Gazette before dinner. He thought it was an imperative as the head of our household to be well informed. In those days, the newspaper was owned by Eugene and Nina Pulliam and had a conservative bent. Today I no longer subscribe since I refuse to pay to have my intelligence insulted. My father would have been disgusted by what the paper has become.

This has got to be a joke! Could the fading newspaper still be that full of itself that those in charge think any of us give a damn about their “announcement”? The editorial board must have jumped the gun on smoking dope while it’s still illegal. I hope it remains so.

    6 p.m.
    Right after Happy Hour.
Appropriate timing for such an announcement.

Alcohol is not in my vodkabulary
However, I looked it up on whiskeypedia
And learned that if you drink too much of it–
    it’s likely tequilya.

May I quote General Patton? “Politicians are the lowest form of life on earth. Liberal democrats are the lowest form of politicians.” So called journalists and liberal “news” papers are right down there with the lowlifes they endorse and shill for.

How fascinating that the radically left Arizona Republic would endorse after the first debate, not waiting to see if Hillary falls again, coughs til she drops or is indicted as she should have been.

I was stunned by the decision of FBI Director James Comey not to move forward with prosecution after he outlined all of Hillary Clinton’s transgressions. He is in for job security not justice. Hillary Clinton’s aides being granted immunity is as good as an admission of guilt. If your actions are above reproach, why would you need immunity?

I thought America was screwed with the election of Barack Obama. If Hillary is elected to his third term, it will be even worse.

Just more proof that there are no R’s or D’s in (at least) national politics. There are only P’s for the Politicals and their defenders of the continuing Order; the Press. Trump (and the populace) threaten to tear that apart. Of course they are terrified.
