Dems confirmation sham calculated to disrupt Trump’s transition

Here’s some information to put all of the liberal Senate confirmation posturing of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks in perspective. The U.S. Senate’s website has a lengthy but fascinating history of the process. Before checking the facts, take a guess at the number of Cabinet nominations ever rejected or withdrawn.

It turns out to be a rare event for the Senate to reject a Cabinet nomination. Only nine Cabinet appointees in all of U.S. history — appointed either by incoming U.S. Presidents or sitting Presidents attempting to fill vacancies in the middle of their terms — have ever been voted down by the Senate.

Republicans are in the majority which should make confirmation even less of an issue, although Republicrats who are still reeling in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory revel in trying to disrupt the process.

Meanwhile, OneNewsNow reports the Obama and Hillary coat tail hangers are finding themselves jobless in D.C. The sure thing they so fervently believed in turned out to be an apparition. And that smooth transition Barack Obama promised Donald Trump’s administration? His lips were moving as he talked about emulating the graciousness of the 2008 George W Bush transition — a sure sign Obama was lying.

Attempts at tarnishing the solid reputations of people such as Sen. Jeff Sessions are disgusting. Having people dressed in hooded, white KKK style robes and holding derogatory signs should be disallowed. Such garbage is not an exercise of free speech but repulsive theatrics.

I was proud to hear William Smith, Sen. Sessions longtime former chief counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee, who is black, speak of Sen. Sessions as one who has known and admired him for 20 years. Sen. Corey Booker, who couldn’t even read his statement without faltering, was an embarrassment to himself.

Once again it’s the Democrats dressed in white KKK robes just like they did in the 50’s and 60’s – nothing has changed. The Democrats allowed these people in just as they did in the 60’s when fighting AGAINST the Civil Rights bill. These current tools don’t even know their own history – bigotry at it’s core. Just because the Democrats try to re-write history doesn’t mean actual history changed. Truth always survives.

Where were the protesters when Barack Obama nominated Loretta Lynch to be United States Attorney General?
This is her well known and documented background, but it wasn’t enough to keep Obama’s pal Jeff Flake from supporting her.

    • Conservative Since Birth says:

That’s quite a background. And the Democrats are attacking ‘our side’ with lies, i.e., Senator Jeff Sessions with a racist taint he doesn’t deserve. Flake, as you mentioned, voted for her – so did Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte, of McCain’s army. Ayotte was just voted out in NH. The year was 2015 when Loretta Lynch became AG so McCain most likely stayed out of it as his reelection campaign was coming up. (Jeff Sessions voted against her.)

  3. Seen It All says:

McCain and Kyl both voted to confirm Eric Holder for US Attorney General.

Could he have been more racial decisive, as he gave credibility to black thug Michael Brown and whipped up tensions in Ferguson, Missouri as the mobs looted and burned businesses and police cars? They felt they had the approval fro the top, which they did.

It was also under his watch that the fatally flawed ‘Fast and Furious’ gun running scheme was conceived, resulting in the death of Arizona Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

I look forward to the confirmation of Sen. Jeff Sessions, who is a man of honor and has respect for the law.

Congress drooled all over themselves to give a wink and a nod to all of Obama’s cabinet picks, even though some of them had not paid their income taxes.

Just last week, Obama awarded himself the DoD’s Distinguished Public Service medal, then scheduled a fake “farewell to the military” ceremony just so that Ash Carter could pin the medal on him in front of the crowd and the cameras.

Last Friday night, mere hours after the terror attack at the Fort Lauderdale airport, Obama hosted a mega bash in the WH. He was presented with a video made by many of the Hollywood elites and other sycophants.
Want to bet that the video is playing on an endless loop on every screen in the WH?

On Saturday, Obama flew to Jacksonville, Florida to be a groomsman in the wedding of one of his golf buddies. He didn’t bother to visit any of the hospitalized or traumatized victims of the Fort Lauderdale shooting, nor did he reach out to the Governor.

Last night on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the guests were Michelle Obama and Stevie Wonder. Stevie sang “My Michelle amour” to her while on air.

Meanwhile, Hillary stumbled out of a 5 star restaurant in Manhattan last night, surrounded by quite a number of burly men in suits.
One guy attempted to use a huge umbrella to thwart prying eyes, but the umbrella turned inside out. Bill followed and seemed unsure as to whether he was allowed into the car with her. Dining with known Hollywood/Sedona socialists Ted Danson and his wife Mary Steenburgen, who came to the door looking concerned and then returned inside the restaurant once Hill was bundled into her black SUV.

Info swirling for the past two weeks that Hillary is going to run in the mayoral race against Leftist destroyer of NYC, Bill DeBlasio (who despite his open hatred for law enforcement and other American ideals, has an alleged 43% favorability rating among voters there).

These people are never going to go away.

Please, if you are so inclined, please continue to pray for the safety of our country and for
President-elect Trump; his family, and his team.

Liberals live in a celebrity worshiping and pleasure seeking society, with the hedonistic Obama’s shamelessly leading the pack. What you expose in your comment both disgusts and saddens me. If parents don’t instill values and a love for our exceptional country and its still relevant founding documents, we are lost. The left wing teacher’s unions have no intention of doing the job. I tried the link to Open Secrets teachers unions donations, and it’s no longer functioning. Maybe the Russians hacked it?

Here is a lengthy story (probably a lot more than we’ll get from our local AZ news outlets) regarding the veteran DPS officer who was ambushed and shot on westbound I-10 near Tonopah this A.M.

Thank God for the Good Samaritan who stopped the threat.

Meanwhile, in Smyrna, GA., the local Krispy Kreme donut shop is writing “Black Lives Matters” on their boxes and bags.

    Diane Douglas screwed the voters.

Arizona State Board of Education ‘Rebrands’ Common Core

Arizona’s state board of education (SBE) has voted to “rebrand” Common Core, i.e., replace the existing Common Core standards with the same standards that contain only some minor changes.

Writing at education blog “Truth in American Education” about the Arizona standards, Shane Vander Hart observed, “There has been some technical changes, but as far as I can see most of the foundational problems still exist. The early elementary standards are still age-inappropriate. There is still an over emphasis on informational text. The math standards still do not adequately prepare students for STEM programs in college.”

“It’s unfortunate that Superintendent Diane Douglas, who campaigned on ending Common Core, put her stamp of approval on this process and these standards,” he continued. “It is also disconcerting that these standards were voted on instead of allowing an additional month of review and public comment. Arizona can do better than this.”

At Ricochet, Arizona high school parent Shawnna Bolick writes, “In a shocking irony, the very person — Diane Douglas — who promised to ‘stop Common Core,’ recommended the ‘revised’ standards; standards virtually identical to the Common Core state standards foolishly adopted by the SBE in 2010.”
