Boots on the Border Act is just that…an act

Monday slipped by so quickly, we forgot to recognize “National Napping Day.” What better way to commemorate the occasion, albeit a tad late, than with the contorted political dreams of the McFlake Duo?

Their 2013 amnesty promoting Gang of Eight scheme failed. That was the one where John McCain and Jeff Flake colluded with a couple of other RINOs and four committed liberals, who were all to happy to have such useful co-conspirators promoting their vision of a permanently inflated Democrat voter base.

McCain and Flake’s  latest bit of trickery, still lacking a bill number, is known asBoots on the “Border Act of 2017.” It even comes with its own glossary on Page 6, in the event English isn’t your primary language.

It’s an “Act,” to be sure. The only reason Arizona’s dysfunctional senate duo needs “boots on the border” is to avoid stepping in the BS they spread around about “border security” each election cycle when they fear their own job security is threatened.  Since Jeff Flake and his mentor John McCain refused to endorse the Republican presidential nominee and flatly stated they would not vote for Donald Trump against Hillary Clinton, they are now scurrying to repair their self inflicted damage.

Who can forget Jeff Flake throwing the AZ Republic for a loop, when he changed his mind on amnesty?  The newspaper went apoplectic, calling Flake‘s comments “jarring“and saying he was “ no longer a statesman,” but had morphed into a “politician.“ The rest of us knew it was just politics speaking and he’d do a switcheroo right after the ballots were counted.

John McCain strolled the border with Pima County Sheriff Paul Babeu in 2010, and called for completing the “danged fence.” That was also a pre-election hoax.

Then there was Mr. Comprehensive Immigration Reform himself, then-Sen. Jon Kyl magically transforming into a border security hawk, just preceding the 2006 election. Once elected, it was back to funny business as usual.

National Napping Day is a reminder that we better not be caught napping as Jeff Flake and  his deep-pocketed lobbyist PACs begin their assault on reality. Ads are already running telling us to call Jeff Flake’s office and thank him for his commitment. He refuses to hold face to face town hall meetings with constituents, opting for sanitized telephone meetings with call screeners instead. We’ve witnessed Arizona senators and their “Act” long enough. The opportunity to act will be in our hands in 2018. We’ve been skunked by political frauds for years. Arizonans deserve better. Help elect conservative Dr. Kelli Ward.

  1. East Valley Conservative says:

Trust Jeff the Flake and Señor Juan McAmnesty at your own peril. These two are proven liars and haven’t the slightest inclination towards conservatism.

  2. Dennis O'Brien says:

Jeff Flake was Barack Obama’s best GOP buddy, pushing his agenda, traveling with him, a regular on his basketball team and worked to give him the appearance of a regular guy instead of a far left demagogue. Now as he faces reelection, Flake has to try to reconstruct himself as a conservative. How many times do we have to deal with such deceit from AZ’s U.S. Senators? Flake treated Obama with more deference than he has President Trump.

  3. Kathy says:

Flake, McCain – liar liar pants on fire!!!!! Flake running radio ads stating how he is leading the charge to get rid of Obamacare and help AZ families cuz he cares so much – NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Frankly Speaking says:

Anything supported by either one of these phonies raises my antenna. They are both Republican posers since that was the best route to getting elected. McCain originally wanted to run as a Democrat and Flake is a laissez faire Libertarian. Getting rid of incumbents is hard work, but it’s worth the effort and can be done. Remember how conservative David Brat defeated GOP establishment House Majority Leader Eric Cantor? Most political observers were stunned at the election nigh outcome. If we do nothing but gripe, Flake will still be running in his 80s just like McCain.

    • Conservative Since Birth says:

Laura Ingraham (the power behind Dave Brat’s election) has said she sometimes thinks of moving to Arizona to run against Jeff Flake. He’s detested across the country as is McCain. During the campaign season, voters have to be reminded of his closeness with Obama – which reminds me – I saw something where American airlines are cancelling flights to Cuba – not enough takers to go see Communism first hand.

  5. Saguaro Sam says:

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Thanks to SRAZ for bringing us the truth.

It is also, ironically, attributed to radical Italian troublemaker Antonio Gramsci–thankfully deceased—if you don’t know about his teachings, you can bet your bottom dollar that Obama and his hit squad does.)
