Jeff Flake word thief: Steals from Goldwater, ex-Rep. Shadegg

Plagiarizes from late  AZ Senator and former Congressman

It’s difficult to veer too far from the truth when those who know the facts are still above ground, but that doesn’t stop the fakery emanating from the pages of the Arizona Republic. Dan Nowicki, the assigned sycophant covering Arizona’s senior senator, must be dealing with bouts of insomnia thee days, fretting over his future. The man he has covered for years will be 81 within days and is seriously ill with an aggressive form of brain cancer.  He’s unlikely to finish the six-year term to which he was reelected in 2016. His obstinate underling, more supportive of Barack Obama than Donald Trump, is considered to be one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for reelection in 2018.  Flake polls exceedingly low as he gears up for reelection, with a 37 percent approval rating according to recent polling conducted by Morning Consult.

But reporter Nowicki soldiers on, with duplicity in high gear. His article on the front page of the Sunday edition is ridiculously titled, “McCain and Flake make the case for compromise.“ Where was the compromise when the senior senator obscenely voted with the unified Democrats and two other Republicrats to blow up any chances of President Trump succeeding on repairing the monstrosity known as Obamacare? Where was the unity when Jeff Flake joined the never Trump resisters as he repeatedly statedTrump can’t win and shouldn’t win.”  After Flake’s unequivocal assertion that he wouldn’t vote for the GOP nominee, Hillary Clinton featured him in a campaign ad.

Flake, who viciously campaigned against presidential nominee Donald Trump is described as having written a book that hypocritically promotes the “rejection of destructive politics and a return to principle.” Known as a self promoter and never regarded as a serious thinker, he even pathetically lifted the title of Barry Goldwater’s 1961 book, “Conscience of a Conservative” for his own soon to be released book. The crème de la crème of Flake’s word thievery is given headline prominence on Breitbart News: GOP Sen. Flake: Under Trump GOP Lost its way, Given to ‘nativism,’ ’xenophobia.’

In this Oct. 2006 article in the New York Times, then-Arizona Congressman John Shadegg was quoted as saying, ““I believe the Republican Party in Arizona has been hurt very badly by the image created by those who have been most outspoken in their attacks on the illegal immigration issue, who have created the appearance that Republicans are xenophobic, that seem by their comments and are by their comments intolerant.”

No. We simply want foreign nationals to respect our laws and sovereignty. There’s nothing intolerant about that.

Shadegg must have thought Arizona voters were too unsophisticated to find the words he never used around his constituents, reserving them for the east coast elites. Now, Jeff Flake lifts the sentiment that places illegals above American citizens.

We can do better than the frauds passing themselves off as Republicans. Haven’t you had enough?

Acquaint yourself with  conservative Dr. Kelli Ward.   She needs our donations and our votes. Flake has amassed a mighty war chest with the aid of open border lobbyists and hard core leftists. It’s time to elect a conservative, not a flake.

Does anyone here believe Flake will change once McCain is gone or is that just wishful thinking?

    • Casper says:

Obviously you just want to yap without even reading the post. How could you read the entire article and type a comment to it in 3 minutes. Your question is inane.

  2. Kimball says:

Flake is a lightweight with nothing to recommend him. His background as a registered foreign agent in the African country of Namibia lobbying for a uranium mining company with ties to terror sponsoring Iran, should give anyone pause. His support for the TPP and Second Amendment restrictions makes me gag. The list goes on. He was and remains a confident of Barack Obama, reported to have called him from his sell phone when the congressional baseball practice shooting occurred, He traveled with Obama and did his bidding.

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

The Flake sat down with David Brooks of the NYT hawk his new book that is about to be released.

Interesting how Flake complains about everything that is wrong with the GOP when he helped drive it to the very edge of the planet.

And then Flake injects his Mormonism to explain how the rest of us are, well, everything that is bad according to the Book of Flake.

You would think that any reporter worth his paycheck would’ve asked Flake why he’s complaining about the GOP that he has molded.

this story about Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Pakistani computer whiz/boy toys should be at the top of the stack for all the news outlets. has a lot of info.
Guess that it really helps Debbie that her very own brother is a
U.S. Attorney for the District of D.C.

  4. Kathy says:

Flake is trying to re-brand himself. Won’t work. Kelli must use Flakes own words as often as possible to make him reap what he has sown. Flake must be melted out if office in 2018!!!!! Vote Dr. Kelli Ward in 2018!

  5. Jakesez says:

I heard this morning on KFYI the statement, ” The traditionally conservative Jeff flake…” almost drove off the road while yelling at the radio. Isn’t it convenient that prior to the election “The traditionally conservative Senator Jeff Flake has come out with a new book advising all of us uniformed voters that we need to work together to bring the country back to its conservative roots. I have no respect for Flake or McCain.

    • Saguaro Sam says:

KFYI has always been McCain’s mouthpiece.
Old Barry Young was a McCain cheerleader until he retired to let his wife, Kim Komando, take care of him.

McCain was responsible for J.D. Hayworth losing his gig on KFYI and notice that it took J.D. quite awhile to finally land at Newsmax.

Mike Broomhead has no street cred. He was an electrician from Florida who ended up in AZ. His brother was a member of the US military who was killed overseas, and Broomhead used that very sad fact to insinuate himself into speaking gigs.
For a time, Broomhead was even filling in for Glenn Beck on the radio and bragging about visiting Beck’s abode in Texas.

The guy who is on at 4p.m., Chris somebody, stated early on that he used to be a parking valet at a certain Scottsdale resort.
I don’t know how true that is.
But for many months, he sure liked to use his time on the airwaves to talk about his colon problems in detail.

Phoenix is one of the largest metropolitan cities in the U.S.
Yet the Mcnewspaper and Mcmedia might as well be run by The Three Stooges.

Meanwhile, Flake has another new word for everyone but him and his best buds on the Hill: ” complicit”

More Damage being Done by Flake:

  6. Patrick says:

But will Flake be able to use McCain’s playbook? Pick off enough Democrats, liberal Republicans, public sector employees, and military who want more spending rather than balanced budgets.
    Just asking others thoughts.

  7. Conservative Since Birth says:

Awful thing to say, but I can’t stand the sight of him – knowing the kind of person he is. I thought he was a libertarian. Why is he all of a sudden using the word conservative come election time. Aren’t we all aware of that game? He’s an open-borders globalist. I don’t like that he’s tearing down Trump and calling Trump’s supporters names. Judging from what Trump’s done already (Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch, his cabinet picks, support for police and Boy Scouts, getting rid of regulations hurtful to the economy, making a big dent in the illegal immigration problem, etc.), the word conservative is more likely tied to President Trump’s actions than anything Flake believes in.

I was leaving Mayo Clinic (Scottsdale campus) this morning – also leaving were two “12 News” vans most likely covering the other lying politician, McCain.

  8. MacBeth says:

…and Shadegg got his marching orders from McCain….

  9. Doc says:

…then there’s THIS from The BLAZE:

“…starting to think mcCain voted for obama in ’08…”
NO KIDDIN’?!?! We here @ SRAZ’ve been sayin’ THAT FOR YEARS!!!

    • Conservative Since Birth says:

Good article. I agree with what he says about why Preibus was let go.

  10. Realist says:

Stealing from John Shadegg is exactly the same as stealing from John McCain.
