Farcical Flake fishes for puny funds as lobbyists keep him flush

Vast amount of his support comes from lobbyists, not the home folks

Have you received Jeff Flake’s latest solicitation email? His campaign is approaching what he calls his “end of the month fundraising goal,” and he says he wants to “check in” and “reach out.” He even calls us “friend” in a John McCain-like manner. Though he lives in a gated community far from the riff and raff, Flake even veers into corn-pone land with the salutation of “Hey,” as in “Hey Friend.”

Then comes the closer. You know…the car salesman time squeeze, telling you this extraordinary deal has a deadline. Flake gives us just 48 hours to hop aboard his ready-to-implode train. He tells us he only needs 18 supporters to help him reach his goal and advises recipients they don’t want to miss the opportunity to help him reach it. The best part of his financial fakery/campaign con is the tricky plea, “Every little bit makes a difference.” Then he asks for us to “chip in” with  $5 $10 or $25.

If 18 folks were to give Jeff the Jester $5, that would give him the princely sum of $90 bucks, surely enough to clear any hurdles. Especially as his latest FEC filings dated  01/01/2017 to 06/30/2017 show him a year out from the election having spent nearly half a million on operating expenses, mainly lodging, food and cabs.

But not to worry. His coffers are filled with $4,374,137.00 — over four and three-quarters of a million dollars. Additionally, Jeff Flake for U.S. Senate, Inc., (yes, it is a business) shows $527,428.00  in “transfers from other authorized committees,” (read: “lobbyists’) —  including  $262,015.20 from Cindy Hensley McCain’s Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc Political Action Committee.

Flake is doing just fine without receiving $5, $10 or $15 from those who are just scraping by. Does he  really need 18 donors to give him five bucks in the next 48 hours— a whopping $90? The vast majority of his donors fork over $2,700 a pop.

Lobbyists support Jeff Flake because he was one of them. Flake has no core. Prior to his political career, Flake worked as a lobbyist and registered foreign agent for Rossing Uranium — one of the world’s largest suppliers of nuclear fuel — which operates a mine in the African country of Namibia where Flake did his LDS mission. Flake earned a substantial salary opening doors in D.C. and promoting the firm with deep financial ties to terror-sponsoring Iran.

In 2012 exhibiting pretzel-like repositioning on IranFlake was running to replace the retiring Jon Kyl. The League of Conservation Voters Victory Fund and Majority PAC launched an $800,000 television ad campaign outlining the risks of sending former uranium mining lobbyist Jeff Flake to the Senate.

Dr. Kelli Ward is the principled conservative in the 2018 AZ U.S. Senate race. Unlike Jeff Flake who refused to vote for Donald Trump, she stands with President Trump. She deserves our support.

Another fact filled post. I’m sending this out to my list of email buddies. Thanks SRAZ!

There is NOTHING that could ever induce me to vote for this flake.I’m a conservative, and I refuse to vote for those who lie about and belittle our Republican President.

I also will never forget how he did everything within his power to take Arizona Senate Pres. Russell Pearce out of office, even working behind the scenes helping his immigration lawyer brother in law challenge Sen. Pearce. Jeff Flake is the lowest of the low.

East Valley Conservative: I feel the same way about the lowdown tactics regarding Russell Pearce. I won’t forget it either.

[More chicanery from Flake and McCain FYI Flake more than deserves to be kicked out.]

Following is from the American Family Association, dated today 8-31-17:

Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake continue to support Democratic obstruction

Both Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) remain committed to a destructive alliance with a Senate Democratic minority. Earlier this year your senators joined 31 Democrats by signing on to a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

In this letter, both Senators McCain and Flake stated they are “opposing any effort to curtail the existing rights and prerogatives of senators to engage in full, robust, and extended debate as we consider legislation before the body in the future.”

This means both Senators McCain and Flake are refusing to end the Democrats’ use of the 60-vote rule to block legislation. Typically, the Senate requires 60 votes to open and close debate on legislation, and these two procedural votes occur before an actual vote on the bill.

Unless 8 Democrats join the 52 Republican Senate majority to open and close debate on a bill, then it is IMPOSSIBLE for a conservative Republican agenda to advance through the Senate and to the president for approval. This is tyranny of the minority at the hand of 8 Democrats, and not only are your senators refusing to fight this, they are supporting it!

whitehouse.gov website red hot since a petition was posted to label George Soros a terrorist.

    RE: McASS
Why was McManiac one of 3 senators who were absent from voting to censure Clinton for pardoning LALN terrorists in 1999, when 95 of his fellow senators voted FOR censure? McBrainiac did NOT enter a statement supporting the resolution into the record. However, Nancy Pelosi, who was allegedly stuck in traffic DID enter a statement into the record (which, of course, was to oppose the censure).

McASS has announced that he will be back in the Senate next week.

Has anyone ever heard of the brain fog phenomenon that comes with chemotherapy? It is real. It causes confusion; unsteady gait, and other unpleasant and undesirable neurologic misfires.
His sycophants and enablers are doing him (and the U.S.) a terrible disservice to allow him to operate under false pretenses.
(but, then again, false pretenses is what he majored in at the Academy)

Jeff Flake is McCain sporting bleach streaked hair instead of a white comb over.Politically, they are cast from the same lot. My out of state friends and relatives always ask me why Arizonans keep reelecting these dangerous liberals running as Republicans. I have one stock answer: Incumbency provides opportunity to vote for the lobbyist’s issues and one hand washes the other. The lobbyists respond by wheeling in wheelbarrows of cash when elections roll around. Money is the key. That’s why it’s so important that Kelli Ward gets the funding she needs to be competitive against the Flake. We screwed up during McCain’s last election and he returned to DC to cast the single deciding vote against repealing and replacing ObamaCare. Imagine having a doctor from Arizona voting on such issues.
