Leftist faith “leaders” tell McCain, Flake tax bill morally wrong

AZ duo urged to “listen to God’s call” and reject Senate tax bill

A new tactic is at play in the effort to dismantle President Trump’s tax bill, which benefits American families, returns outsourced jobs to the USA and strengthens the economy. A full page ad claiming to represent 500 faith leaders is urging lame duck senator Jeff Flake and failing John McCain to vote in opposition to the tax bill, which they claim — using over 6-inch tall caps — is “MORALLY WRONG.”

The ad, paid for by Faith In Public Life Action Fund, apparently has money to burn. Full page newspaper ads are expensive, and its paid staff of 14 is large. It refers to itself as a “powerful force for justice, compassion and the common good,” code words for wealth redistribution, a basic tenet of Marxism. A full  page is devoted to #RESISTANCE, giving a clear understanding of the group’s far left bent.

One column on the site begins with the words, “Donald Trump’s election left my soul weary.”  Since aiding the illegal invasion is an obvious priority, President Trump‘s promise to provide national security by constructing a wall, is not on its liberal agenda.

No wonder they feel they have a chance to sway short-termer Republicrats McCain and Flake.

When liberals take the moral high ground, it raises my suspicious antenna several notches. They always have a flip-side agenda, that has little to nothing to do with their stated aims. Remember when the Democrats at their 2012 national convention booed the inclusion of the word God in their platform? The chairman had to take three votes and then eventually overruled the Democrat delegates.

This provided my morning chuckle. We have a fair amount of friends, relatives, neighbors and business associates and I’d have to say those who most frequently (or ever) attend religious services are overwhelmingly Republicans. Liberals often think they ARE God.

This tax bill deserves to be supported. From what I’ve read, it deals with many of the problems that face Americans today, from the skyrocketing costs of Obamacare…up 116% here in Arizona….to allowing taxpayers to keep more of their own money. The “death tax” ruins family held farms and businesses when the taxes are so astronomical that family members have to sell the properties just to pay the taxes. These are double payments since the deceased paid taxes on the properties throughout his or her lifetime.

Yeah, McCain is So Moral and Religious that he allowed his favorite whiskey-loving daughter to be married by a layperson at the Cornville hacienda.

Notice how they only roll out the old “separation of church and State” argument when it suits their purpose.

Like Tennessee Ernie Ford once sang,
“Saint Peter don’t you call me cause I can’t go—-I owe my soul to the company store. . . “
