Pollster Gallup gallops away from reality

Liberals and AZ RINO dominate “most admired” list

Impartiality in conducting reliable surveys should be paramount for pollsters. Lacking that qualifier, poll results would merely be a reflection of their own opinion or how they’d prefer to shape public opinion, and be considered worthless. With those considerations as key factors, Gallup’s latest findings stretch credibility beyond reasonable limits.

This recent survey listing Arizona’s Senior Senator (ASS) John McCain in a 3-way tie as fourth most admired man in the world is preposterous on its face. His untrustworthiness is legend. He even coined the term “Maverick” to describe his propensity to defiantly run afoul of the Republican Party under whose banner he’s campaigned for decades. He has colluded with out-of-state Obama donors to oust Republican elected precinct committeemen from the party ranks after he was overwhelmingly censured at the GOP statutory statewide and Maricopa County meetings for a lengthy list of transgressions. Committeemen are the unpaid backbone of the party apparatus, doing the heavy lifting when campaign season rolls around. McCain is known as crude and deceitful. Now suffering from brain cancer, with any need to appear conciliatory gone, he acts in an even more outrageously provocative manner.

How ASS could be tied with respected evangelist Billy Graham defies logic.

Number One on the list of most admired is Barack Obama — who edged out President Donald Trump by three points — and Marxist Pope Francis in the top three slots. That the six-way tie for number five includes Socialist Bernie Sanders, the utter absurdity of this poll is apparent.

Topping the list of most admired women — all Democrats — are scandal-plagued Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Elizabeth Warren who deceptively claimed American Indian heritage during her Massachusetts senatorial campaign, earning her the sarcastic nickname “Pocahontas.”

Beyonce Knowles is admired, by those polled, but why? Beyonce has stated that she is personally inspired by Michelle Obama, saying “She proves you can do it all” and she has described Oprah Winfrey as “the definition of inspiration and a strong woman.” She was a stalwart supporter of Hillary Clinton, appearing onstage in a “I’m with her” tee shirt and took part in a celebrity fundraiser. She and her rapper husband Jay-Z raised $4 million for Obama and she sang at both of his inaugurations.

Also on the list is German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has allowed unrestricted Muslim immigration to irretrievably alter that nation’s culture and heritage.

George Gallup who founded the polling organization in 1935, must be rolling in his grave.

Though the findings are supposedly reflective of a “worldwide” poll, Gallup’s own methodology describes ”results for this poll are based on telephone interviews conducted December 4-11, 2017 with a random sample of –1,049— adults, ages 18+, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.”

In polling parlance, that must qualify as a “worldwide” sampling.  Those with a grade school level of geography know better.

That John McCain is even mentioned on such a list makes the findings incredible. Obviously Gallup didn’t interview any Arizonans. My wife and I were part of McCain’s purge of conservatives. We had volunteered for the Republican Party and candidates for years, willingly donating our time, sweat equity and money. We were replaced by Vietnamese McCain loyalists who have never (we’ve been told) shown up at a monthly district meeting. They obviously don’t lift a finger for any candidates or get-out-the-vote efforts. McCain doesn’t care. He was out to punish conservatives for the embarrassment he suffered as a result of the censure votes.

Thanks to John McCain, we left the Republican Party.

Skewed poll, screwy results. Liberals take top honors? No one polled me.

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

I recently read that the tax reform bill, just prior to the Congress voting on it, was shown to some Bernie Sanders supporters who were told that he was its architect. The bill got a 100% approval rating from Sanders supporters. Then, they were told that it was the GOP tax reform bill, at which point a mass mental health crisis ensued.
Sounds like the people who voted in this poll were heavily biased.
Which means that it was not a poll at all.

Meanwhile, this story out of Pima County:

    Be careful out there.

Obama’s been on top for 10 years. That doesn’t surprise me. Back when he was ‘president,’ the White House complained to Gallup that his approval ratings weren’t high enough. Gallup acquiesced – and they’re still “acquiescing” even though he isn’t in the White House any longer. The Democrats lost to Trump because Obama did a terrible job and Hillary is loaded with baggage. And Trump was a great campaigner and wasn’t from the Swamp.

Gallup writes that 25% of Americans cannot name a man or woman they admire most. That’s not a hard question. I cannot fathom why John McCain is on the list. Maybe because he goes all maverick on Conservatives (and Trump).

With this obviously questionable “poll,” your assessment on McCain’s odd appearance on this list makes sense.

  5. Kathy says:

Since when does 1,049 = a majority???? Yea, and they had Hillary winning in a landslide as well.

Another Propaganda poll, just like the alphabet Propaganda fake news stations.

  6. VINOAZ says:

Obama is the worst person in American history.
Hillary is a nasty lying crook. Polls have degenerated to propaganda. Even Gallop can no longer be believed. If the media was no longer left wing and dishonest we would see far different results.

According to this fake news story on AOL’s homepage, “Melania Trump is making a key mistake that makes her less admired than Michelle Obam:”

Michelle Obama placed second in Gallup’s poll of the most admired women in the US, while Melania Trump earned the No. 8 spot.
Trump has received backlash for wearing expensive outfits, which can make her seem out of touch with Americans.
Obama, meanwhile, used her fashion choices to represent social and political initiatives.

No doubt AOL has forgotten the excesses of Michelle Obama and prefer to create their own reality of her.

Just a couple of items to jog their memories:

It’s a first lady faux pas — wearing expensive, high-fashion French designer sneakers to a food bank. Michelle Obama wore the sneakers, made by Lanvin, while helping feed the poor at a Washington food bank on Wednesday. The pricetag on the footwear? A cool $540

    Or how about:

Michelle Obama spent more on her purse this month than you spent on your mortgage payment. A lot more.

  8. Mohave Mike says:

How about the Obama’s beef preference? Wagyu beef was $100 lb. back in 2009 when the Obama’s first entered the White House. Imagine what it cost by the time they left, 8 years later. How nice that we, the American taxpayers, got to feed them so lavishly, while many of us stuck to hamburger to make ends meet.

    • Mohave Mike says:

PS Melania Trump has more class in her little finger than Michelle Obama has in her oversized body. Melania could wear a gunny sack and look elegant.

  9. Conservative Since Birth says:

From today’s NY Post: Veteran Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley poked fun at his fellow pols Friday — suggesting that the cold snap chilling the northern US might keep them honest.

“It’s so cold in the upper half of the USA Today that politicians will put their hands in their own pockets,” the 84-year-old Republican wrote on Twitter.

  10. Conservative Since Birth says:

The star’s already beginning to fade for Gallup’s ‘most admired man’ Obama after Trump’s first year

After a ten-year run, Gallup’s most admired man may soon no longer be former President Obama.

The number of respondents naming Obama the man they admired most dropped to 17 percent in Gallup‘s December poll, a decrease from the 22 percent who said the same last year.

And Hillary’s in big trouble. Even from Gallup’s numbers.

    • Vince says:

From what I’ve been reading with regard to newer disclosures on Hillary’s emails, she and her pal Huma Abedin should both be in jail. James Comey gave Hillary a pass on what looks more and more like criminal activity, not carelessness.

  11. VINOAZ says:

Should is my word of the decade. Unfortunately, Hillary will never be prosecuted or pay a price for her crimes. The left would riot and the next Democrat administration would look to prosecuting Republicans.
