Pence takes Flake to WH to persuade Prez on DACA?

When Donald Trump triumphed over 16 primary opponents to win the Republican presidential nomination, it shocked liberals, but not the conservatives who attended his campaign rallies. Llberals went into full meltdown mode when he won the presidency.

He spoke to the issues that matter most to Americans, but health care and tax reform took a back seat to addressing our porous southern border and the massive impact of illegal hordes invading the USA.

This issue, resonating across all sectors, was key to the reason Donald Trump won the election.

Yet we read that Vice President Pence, at one time an inseparable friend of Jeff Flake’s, is now trying to act as a conduit to get President Trump to soften his stance on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA/‘Dreamers.’

It should be a tough sell, since Flake has not only not been a friend to Trump, he’s been his harshest critic. He and his mentor McCain made public statements that neither they nor their families would vote for Donald Trump. Flake withdrew from running for reelection to the U.S. Senate due to the resulting, embarrassingly low poll numbers.

Arizonans have been down this amnesty path with then-Indiana Congressman Pence a decade ago, He actually endorsed in an Arizona legislative primary, giving the nod to a candidate who had been a lifelong Democrat until five days before he filed to run. The issue at the time was identical to the issue now — illegal ‘immigration.

It can’t be stressed often enough: Border security is national security.  The world is not a tea party.  Our immigration policies need tightening, not loosening. We should seek immigrants — college educated ones — who desire to assimilate, respect our laws, and bring abilities beneficial to the United States.

This past week three former Department of Homeland (IN)Security chiefs, two Dems and a RINO, signed this letter to House and Senate leadership demanding fast action on the so-called ‘Dreamers’ — whose claims are impossible to verify.

We have repeatedly been told by advocates for the nearly 1 million ‘Dreamers’ that through no fault of their own, they were brought here as babes in their illegal parent’s arms. They are law abiding, attending school and serving in our military.  The facts tell a far different story.  Today is Saturday. Make time to read the impeccably researched article by Immigration and Foreign Policy pro, Will Racke, The Numbers Behind The ‘Dreamers.’

Barack Obama, put this mess in place through an executive order, which even he acknowledged was illegal and unconstitutional. (video).

Jeff Flake, a Libertarian who ran as a Republican, is a committed open borders and amnesty supporter. He honed his deceitful tactics learned from John McCain, who initially wanted to run as a Democrat in 1982 but was convinced by Republican power-brokers he couldn’t win as a Dem in the East Valley.

The idea of Flake influencing President Trump on this crucial issue is preposterous.

Sadly, this last minute Amnesty Appeal was foreshadowed when Mike Pence was named to the GOP Ticket.
In 2006, he was pushing an “Amnesty Plan” of his own, but he had the misfortune of being a guest alongside then-Rep. JD Hayworth on Sean Hannity’s Radio Show.
JD DESTROYED Pence and his Amnesty Proposal during that interview!!!
Too bad President Trump didn’t pick a “like minded” running mate like JD.

    • Attila the Hunny says:

Pence has always been undependable on amnesty and the illegal invasion. Remember that a million DACA recipients will ultimately be citizens as will their kids and future generations. They will become megamillions of new Democrat voters. That’s the Democrats game plan. Why any Republican buys into this farce is incomprehensible.

McCain and Flake were the architects of the Gang of 8 amnesty scheme, in which they partnered with far leftists like Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Robert Menendez and RINO Marco Rubio.

You’re correct about JD Hayworth. He spoke the truth about the massive problem early on and even wrote an explosive book, “Whatever It Takes,” on the topic.

He should have been Trump’s VP choice. I watched him last night on Hannity and thought that Arizona no longer has anyone of his caliber in DC.

  2. Rob Haney says:

The illegal alien invasion is inimical to our representative democracy. We are being destroyed from within by democrats and RINOs. And the Phoenix city council, peopled by democrats and former McCain staffers, just named one of our airport terminals to recognize the man who led the way to our destruction. They should subtitle it the Manchurian Candidate Terminal.

  3. Conservative Since Birth says:

Another very informative post from SRAZ.

The majority of Trump voters did so because of his stance on border security. If he makes any meaningful concessions to Democrats and RINOs like Pence and Flake, the base will abandon him.

This country has been screwed by both parties since Ted Kennedy’s 1965 immigration & nationality act (aka The Browning of America). This is our chance to stop the madness. We’d better not blow it. It is destroying this country.

    • Trevor says:

Exactly, the MSM may say Bannon is the base but Trump is he will lose re election badly if he caves on Amnesty. Voters like myself will not put up with it. I don’t mind bipartisanship as long as you don’t compromise your principles.

  4. Saguaro Sam says:

Pence is being led by his religion regarding this matter.
Hey, Mikey, religion ain’t going to pay the bills for a never-ending welfare State.

And, of course, you can always count on Pope Francis, who at Christmas time stated that Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were no different that the immigrants flooding Europe.
Except that The Bible tells it differently.
New Testament. Luke, chapter 2, verse 1.

We would surely be lost by now if it was not for the great minds and dedication of people like J.D. Hayworth and the folks at Judicial Watch.

FYI: Pay attention to what LIndsay Graham and Chuck Grassley have done, with their request for a criminal investigation into the guy who supposedly wrote the dossier. Subterfuge.
Graham directing the investigation in such a direction as to keep under wraps the part that McCain played in it.

Take a trip over to for an in-depth look at Operation Condor. Yeah, we’re hanging by a thread.

  5. Frankly Speaking says:

Ethically challenged Tony Bouie was the guy Mike Pence endorsed.
Republicans turned a blind eye to his repeated lies and slippery conduct in order to showcase a minority Republican office holder. Pence was following John Shadegg’s prompts when he bizarrely endorsed Bouie in the state legislative primary. Pence had no business interjecting himself into a race where he knew nothing about the candidates, the district or the issues.

  6. Rick says:

Pence is an open borders, pro-amnesty RINO. He expressed the same disdain for Trump as did Romney, Bush, Kasich and the rest of the garbage from the GOP. Why Trump picked him as VP is as ambiguous as his pick Sessions was for DOJ. He has to take Pence out to the woodshed and explain to him why WE chose DJT – NOT the GOP, to lift us from the bowels of Washington. Mike’s a good speaker – he’s a professional politician – just listen to him, but he’s not anywhere in the neighborhood of the specific change that we pined for when we elected Trump.

  7. John Hawkins says:

If Trump gives amnesty to the DACA illegals, I will never vote again. I voted for Trump because he said he was going to rescind DACA and deport illegal aliens. I am tired of sending people to Washington who care more about illegal aliens and refugees than they care about American citizens. In 1986 congress said this was going to be a one time amnesty. Just goes to show all politicians are liars.

  8. Kent says:

Despite his cozy relationship with Democrats, Michael Chertoff was appointed as the special counsel for the Senate Whitewater Committee looking into accusations of fraud, obstruction of justice and abuse of power against President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, in a 1970s Arkansas Land scandal known as the Whitewater investigation. Surprise!!! No charges were brought against the Clintons,
Chertoff obviously knows where his bread is buttered.
