Trump to Larry King: “Oprah will always be my first VP choice”

Mike Pence must have been  the runner up

Donald Trump was a guest on “Larry King Live” nearly two decades ago, announcing the formation of an exploratory committee to possibly seek the candidacy of the Reform Party. (positions under link.)

King asked, “Do have a vice presidential candidate in mind?” Without much hesitation,  Trump replied: “I love Oprah. Oprah would always be my first choice.”

“I think she’s really a great woman. A terrific woman, She’s somebody that’s really special. If she’d do it, she’d be fantastic. She’s popular, she’s brilliant, she’s wonderful woman. If she’d do it….she’s a very exceptional woman,” Trump gushed.

Oprah belched and Mike Pence came up.

After his apparent willingness to cave on illegal dreamers, I’m beginning to worry we bought a pig in a poke. I hope I’m wrong. There’s a lot I ‘m happy with as a result of Trump’s election. Judicial appointments and the economy to name just two. There are also concerns, such as his coziness with “Chuck and Nancy.” In this Larry King interview he sounds like Bill Clinton is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

  3. Clementine says:

Just checked out the link to Reform Party. How did this translate to Republican? They have no official position on anything. Not even abortion.

  4. Matt DeGennaro says:

Oprah is a dyed in the wool liberal. This is a grotesque video of Donald Trump.. How much has he actually changed over the past years? Could be he’s who he always was. His deal making on DACA amnesty has had me clenching my jaw all afternoon

  5. Gary says:

The Donald was never a conservative. Wishing doesn’t make it so. He chummed with the Clinton’s and thinks Oprah is brilliant. What does it take to make you think?
