McCain: Incapable of doing job, lacks grace to retire

Who’s McCain’s ghost writer?

To the casual observer, it appears John McCain has been very busy. Though seriously ill with what his Mayo Clinic doctors describe as an “aggressive form of brain cancer,” he continues to weigh in on D.C. issues and place the blame for government intransigence squarely where he thinks it belongs — on Republicans.

We are led to believe octogenarian McCain has become a prolific writer as he recuperates from the unrecoverable and deals with the debilitating side effects of the therapy he‘s been receiving, which often returns him to the hospital. He tweets and writes commentaries like this one imploring President Trump to stop attacking the press — ignoring the fact that it’s the same leftist press that eagerly prints his own condemnations and has waged war on the president since before his inauguration. McCain also has his name attached to a globalist vantage point op-ed that appeared in The Economist, titled, “The World in 2018”: Defending the Liberal World Order. That’s a title we couldn’t make up. The article reeks of  the influence of billionaire Socialist One Worlder George Soros, a generous McCain funder who despises national borders.

McCain’s senate office, which was issuing intermittent updated health reports, has been silent, though CNN reported in mid-December that he was described as increasingly frail.

One of McCain’s last public acts was the intentionally theatrical and spiteful thumbs down vote he cast against Republican efforts on the “skinny repeal” of Obamacare. The senate balloting was delayed in anticipation of his much needed vote. Sick or well, McCain is a showboating antagonist who continually colludes with Democrats against the party under whose banner he has run for nearly four decades.

McCain has missed important votes and key staff members are leaving for more secure positions. He obviously isn’t writing commentaries or spending his days tweeting. The charade by his well-intentioned  staff does him no favors. The chances of him returning to the senate are slim. Arizonans deserve representation. Gov. Doug Ducey, whose own election carried the GOP syndicate’s endorsement, including McCain‘s, would be in the odd position of appointing a successor to the man he has known since he moved to Arizona in 1982 to attend ASU and went to work for Hensley & Co., Cindy Hensley McCain’s Anheuser-Busch distributorship.

Even given the awkwardness of the situation, it’s imperative to fill the seat with a Republican who can show up for work. John McCain recently had the newly renovated Terminal 3 at Phoenix’ Sky Harbor International Airport named for him by the Democrat majority Phoenix City Council. Now he could show some reciprocal decency to the taxpayers who funded that extravagant gift and let them have the senate representation they deserve in an environment where very vote counts.

  1. John J. says:

If at all possible, I will never fly out of Terminal 3 again.

  2. Attila The Hunny says:

John McCain had to be coerced to run as a Republican when he first carpetbagged into Arizona. He actually wanted to run for House Minority Leader John Rhodes seat as a Democrat, when respected conservative Rhodes retired. McCain was so tone deaf, he expected the East Valley conservatives to support him, because he was …John McCain. The Phoenix 40, a powerful group of business leaders who ran things at that time, had to tell him how the cow ate the cabbage.

  3. MacBeth says:

Expecting grace from John McNasty is a fool’s errand. He has no concept of its meaning.

  4. Dennis O'Brien says:

For a man who came from prestige and wealth and married a well connected heiress the second time around, he acts like someone who grew up in deprivation and needs constant attention. His vote on the Obamacare repeal was indicative of his pathological need to be the center of attention, whether good or bad. He was ill long before his current medical condition appeared.

  5. VINOAZ says:

Is there no way of getting rid of an incompetent senator? The press must be attacked, with the truth. Democrats are responsible for the shut down. The press says it is the Republicans. The media cares more about Democrats and illegals than about America and the truth. They lie and omit. They are one of the greatest threats to Americans and freedom. Oh how they sucked up to Obama, the worst person in American history.

  6. Conservative Since Birth says:

McCain serves no one but George Soros and the One World America haters. The taxpayers of Arizona mean nothing to this dastardly human being. If they did, he’d graciously resign from the Senate. Right now, we just have a bully taking shots at the President from afar. Why doesn’t he just go the hell away.

    • VINOAZ says:

He is arrogant and narcissistic to such an extent he is an embarrassment to his family name, Arizona and the USA.

      • Tucson GOP says:

Regarding the family name: McCain means son of Cain. After killing his brother Abel in the Garden of Eden, Cain was marked by God for being the first murderer and cast out of Eden, doomed to a nomadic life.

  7. Army Of One says:

John McCain should have suffered the same fate as the rest of the Keating Five. Only he and John Glenn survived, since both had a hero aura constructed around them by the fawning media. They were both equally crooked as their cohorts who lost their congressional seats. John McCain was actually THE major player in the Savings and Loan scheme that swindled the life savings of many investors. McCain and Cindy had deep ties to Keating, who was even a godparent to one of their kids.

Glenn was an early astronaut who made no greater space strides orbitng the earth than the monkeys sent into space before him. He was just a novelty at the time and used his notoriety to gain a senate seat. McCain was not regarded as a hero by his fellow POWs in Vietnam, many of whom regarded him as a ‘songbird.” As chairman of the Senate Armed Services committee, he has permanently sealed all records of American POWs and MIAs despite decades long pleas from their families. Why would that be so important to him??

      • Kent says:

No wonder he has dedicated so much time and energy to sealing the records of POWs and MIAs. It’s easy to see why he was called “songbird.”

I can’t help but wonder how many innocent American lives he put in harm’s way with his loose lips.

      • Tucson GOP says:

I’ve heard about this treasonous action on McCain’s part but never heard anything substantive, so thought it might false. This is shameful and disgusting. He sounds like John “F-ing” Kerry who testified they killed babies, raped women and burned down villages filled with women, children and elderly men.

  8. Capt. Marvel says:

Another on target post. This is why I keep coming back to SRAZ!

  9. William Heuisler says:

John McCain’s errand-boy at the McCain Institute SuperPac is evidently worried about his personal safety. From Arizona voters? And Kramer is such a fine, upstanding flunkey. I’m shocked!

According to reports, Sen. John McCain associate, David Kramer, has asked a federal judge to seal the deposition he gave in a lawsuit connected to the now discredited Steele dossier. According to the Daily Caller‘s Chuck Ross, Kramer’s lawyer, Aleksej Gubarev, believes releasing the deposition would create a media firestorm, jeopardizing his client’s personal safety.

  10. Saguaro Sam says:

Pilots flying in and out of terminal 3 at Sky Harbor will, hopefully, not be superstitious upon learning of McCain’s inability to keep planes aloft.

We had better not get stuck with Megan McCain as a replacement “pretender”. Remember, she sits her ample behind on a chair in front of TV cameras Mon-Fri in NYC and is supposed to be the Conservative on the show.

During the bloody protests in Iran two weeks ago, there were dozens of airplanes with no visible markings landing and taking off in Iran within a 24 hour period.
It is thought that the head honcho was hauling his humungous family and his riches out of the country.
    Will that happen here?
Where are Obama, Billary, and McAss?

  11. Trevor says:

Greg Stanton is a joke, huge McCain backer too, Stanton wants Sinema’s house seat so bad the guy is a vulture!

  12. Jake sez says:

I remember when Goldwater passed on and his wife was rumored to have continued using the Goldwater Foundation to support more moderate ideas under his name. Could we be seeing the same thing now with Senator McCain. Could his daughter or his wife be the authors of the ideas now being brought forth. What a great way for the daughter to get in practice and influence so she could be appointed as the replacement senator.

I have long envisioned Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery waiting n the wings to replace Señor Juan McAmnesty. He’d take the appointment in a heartbeat and then could run as an incumbent/ Montgomery has been the dutiful party player, never calling out McCain for all of his excesses and refusing to move forward on the prosecution of Jeff Flake’s dog killer son an his then wife whose neglect led to the deaths of nearly two dozen family pets entrusted to their care at a family owned kennel. The West Point guy replaces the Annapolis grad —albeit at the bottom of his Naval Academy class. No mental giant, McCain never would have qualified for admittance if his father and grandfather had not been Admirals.

  13. Maggie says:

The words “Grace” and “John McCain” don’t even belong in the same sentence. He called his own wife, Cindy, the mother of four of his seven children a c*nt and a “trollop” in front of his staffers and reporters. The disgusting incident even appeared in a best selling book. It’s a shame he’s terminally ill, but he’s still a vile man
