Gun owners, NRA remain resolute in face of misaimed backlash

Amid all of the negativity illogically lodged against the NRA in the wake of the horrific Florida school shooting, another Crossroads of the West gun show took place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix Saturday and Sunday. The vast area was packed with dealers and overflowing with purchasers, including many families, with children in tow, who understand the importance of our Second Amendment rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution by our nation’s Founders.

The shooting, perpetrated by a mentally deranged former student, highlights the need for follow-up on obvious concerns since deputies had been called to the family home of Nikolas Cruz 23 times. The FBI was alerted to him months earlier. His Internet postings showing him posing with an AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle and boasting about plans to shoot up a school, should have raised red flags about the threat he posed. The recently expelled 19-year-old, who began introducing himself as a “school shooter,” has been charged with 17 counts of murder perpetrated against classmates on Valentine’s Day. Despite repeated warnings, authorities took no decisive action. When the volley of gunshots sounded from within the school, the armed resource officer chose not  to enter the building.

Though years of warnings were ignored, backlash has irrationally focused against the National Rifle Association. The NRA is a pro-Second Amendment organization that protects the rights of Americans to defend themselves.

Under political pressure from the hard left, some corporations that have long offered discounts and benefits to NRA members have begun peeling away, though many remain in effect. This is the complete statement on corporate partnerships offered by the organization, which includes these words:

“……some corporations have decided to punish NRA membership in a shameful display of political and civic cowardice.  In time, these brands will be replaced by others who recognize that patriotism and determined commitment to Constitutional freedoms are characteristics of a marketplace they very much want to serve.

Let it be absolutely clear. The loss of a discount will neither scare nor distract one single NRA member from our mission to stand and defend the individual freedoms that have always made America the greatest nation in the world.”

The list of companies which, in lightening speed, buckled under pressure from Teenagers and other nut jobs, include Delta Airlines; United Airlines, Allied Van LInes, LifeLock, and SimplySafe.

Since 9-11, some pilots have been cleared to carry guns.
Life Lock is all about keeping your credit and banking records safe from intrusion. And Simply Safe is the wireless home alarm system that is supposed to keep you safe.

So, are they for Safety, or only when they can make a buck on selling their services?

You must dig deep to realize what is really happening.

Meanwhile, today’s headlines reveal that when it comes to illegal invaders in our country
The U.S. Supremes are still securely in the clutches of Obama. (Thanks, John Roberts. Hope you and the sellout money you accepted will be very happy.)

Is this the report you’re referring to?

John Roberts isn’t specifically mentioned, but he’s another rogue justice who was hailed as a conservative and turned out to be anything but. That deception has long been a pattern for nominees to the SCOTUS.

Roberts follows the far leftist Pope, who never saw an illegal he didn’t adore. In a phony display of welcoming, he even brought one “immigrant” family into the walled fortress known as the Vatican, and we never heard of them again. They were probably shuttled out the back door within short order of his showboating.

      • Trevor says:

Roberts was Jeb’s! personal attorney during the 2000 recount. Roberts also worked for Jeb’s daddy. He goes way back with the Bushes.

The only company (as of right now) that hasn’t “abandoned” the NRA is FedEx. The head of the company is pro-NRA and pro-Trump. Hope he holds to his convictions.

      • Braveheart says:

Then FedEX gets my business. This virulent hatred toward the NRA is disgusting! I just signed up as a new NRA member today.

Yet Delta Airlines is lobbying for a $ 40 million fuel tax break in GA! The GA Senate is set to vote today. GA gov ex chief of staff is a lobbyist for Delta. The man running for Gov is exposing the hypocrisy!!

Strange that the rental car companies don’t allow teens to rent cars, but now they are willing to bow down to them.

There was another time in history when the YOUTH were useful pawns.

    Meanwhile,

please continue to pray for the safety of
Dr. Timothy J. Cunningham, the very brilliant lead leader of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Division of Population Health.
He is an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer.

He has been raising the alert about the recent flu vaccine at it relates to the many, many deaths over the past 6 months.

And now he has been missing for two weeks.

CDC colleagues in Atlanta say that he left work early after complaining of feeling ill. Yet there is no proof that he ever left the bldg. His family is being kept in the dark.

Since this info has finally been reported by some of the media, I fear that, conveniently, we will learn that something terrible has occurred.

They cannot let the truth be known.

Sam, You make an excellent point with this reminder:

Hitler’s youth were integral to his agenda that nearly destroyed Europe and annihilated millions of people. They were chosen as representatives of the Aryan “race” he sought to eventually be the ruling class. They were young, and articulate, promoting his unholy message. There is a distinct similarity.
