What did Arizonans do to deserve McCain and Flake?

June 22, 2018

The latest: McCain authorized IRS targeting conservative groups, Flake intentionally holding up Trump’s judicial nominees

Some ancient societies reputedly believed in generational curses, where the sins of past generations are passed down for future generations to pay their debt. Today we dismiss such tales as nonsense.

Still Arizona Republicans can be excused for wondering about the existence of this phenomena from time to time, as they ponder what horrific past acts they are paying for, having to deal with substandard U.S. Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake who give them no representation —  preferring to aid Democrats.

Now it’s been confirmed that a high ranking McCain aide told IRS official Lois Lerner to audit non-exempt groups such as Tea Parties “until they financially collapsed.” The Lid cites IRS documents obtained by Judicial Watch, which deceitful McCain initially denied as false reports.”

And Flake? The spiteful loser who polled at a paltry 18% approval rating avoided an embarrassing outcome by withdrawing from seeking reelection. Flake has devoted himself to undercutting the president, reading absurd anti-Trump speeches in the senate chamber and appearing on left-wing media networks to bash Pres. Trump. His actions have moved from ridiculous to reprehensible, as he commits to holding up federal judicial nominees who President Trump rightfully desires to appoint to fill vacancies to crucial district courts.

The left is praising the appropriately named Flake. Splinter, a less-than-a-year-old website owned by Spanish language Univision Communications, is ecstatic at the news that Flake is obstructing appellate court nominees. Our readers will remember that this type of obstructionism is nothing new to Flake.

He no doubt wanted to follow his mentor McCain, spending decades in D.C. Then Donald Trump won the Primary Election over 16 other GOP aspirants and, despite McCain and Flake loudly proclaiming they would not support him, he emerged victorious. Trump has overseen economic expansion and an unprecedented drop in unemployment. Unlike Flake and McCain, the president draws enormous, cheering crowds.

The two senators have spent the rest of their time — in McCain’s case — limited time, attacking the President of the party under whose banner they each chose to run. McCain, who has not been seen in months, managed to get to Washington for this practiced and dramatic vote, against the “skinny repeal” of Obamacare, stunning his colleagues when he cast his lot with the Democrats. It was his sucker-punch to President Trump in a senate where every vote counts and that particular vote was held up until the treacherous McCain could participate.

Remember that when the Flakester decides to primary the president. No, it‘s not a joke. Irrational Flake actually said he‘s considering mounting a challenge to Trump, although he was unable to lift his abysmal polling numbers in his home state.

Trump’s Exec Order: Hysterical Dems don’t want to lose their election issue

June 21, 2018

Anyone who’s paying even scant attention is aware the unacceptable situation on our porous border has escalated into a mega-issue that has been exploited by the Democrats. They disparately need it, since have nothing else to run on during the upcoming midterm elections. Their fake ‘Russian Collusion’ narrative has evaporated. Impeaching President Trump is a pipe dream. The economy is soaring and unemployment is at a record low. So Dems have zoned in on the issue of separating children from their lawbreaking parents at the border. Liberal churches have weighed in demanding an end to the program, though they do virtually nothing to end the steady stream of humanity, as they look upon the illegals as pew fillers in their declining congregations. Some have provided sanctuary within their walls. Others have worked to turns cities and states into enormous sanctuaries, often with dire results.

Rarely do you hear that these separations have been going on for decades, and reached a zenith under the Obama regime.  As we wrote in this June 16th post, “Illegals’ status enhanced by ability to expand Dem voter bloc, the mainstream media focus is on the Trump administration’s zero tolerance policies, although Newsweek reminds its readers that Barack Obama held more than double the number of children in shelters compared to the Trump White House.

Children are an easily exploitable distraction. What the left actually desires are open, transnational borders. It’s not about family reunification. They want no one detained. Ever.

President Trump signed this Executive Order on Wednesday, specifically addressing family separation. Still, there are obvious facts that should not be ignored:

American citizen parents who commit crimes and are arrested are routinely separated from their children. If they bring their children along on their crime spree, their penalties are enhanced when they are sentenced to prison. Children of divorce, whose custodial parent moves, are separated from their parents each and every day. The difference is they don’t have liberal advocates hysterically exploiting their situations for political gain.

Not all of these children are with their parents, Some are traveling with unrelated persons who use them as a tool to gain entry into the United States. Some children are being sexually exploited by these strangers. Older kids oftentimes travel alone, and once here will act as conduits for other family members. MS-13, a notorious and vicious gang originating in El Salvador has grown and spread throughout the U.S. recruits kids as young as ten.

Don’t be conned by purposely ginned up media hysteria. President Trump has long held that the United States must adopt an immigration system that serves our national interest. He has remained committed to securing our border by construction of a wall, restoring the rule of law, and returning illegal entrants to their countries of origin. Among his priorities is protecting American workers by ending the chain migration scheme. He has eliminated the irrational Visa Lottery, and implemented a merit-based entry system — reforms which advance the safety and prosperity of all Americans while helping new citizens assimilate and flourish.

These remarks and interaction are from the meeting President Trump and Vice President Pence held earlier yesterday with select House and Senate members.

McSally in deflection mode, reverts to crudeness

June 20, 2018

As AZ Senate candidate Martha McSally cowers under a cloud of investigations for campaign violations, she has veered into deflection mode reverting to coarse talk. This is her modus operandi. She used shock talk when she launched her campaign telling the GOP togrow a pair of ovaries.

Her latest missive sent out via email is first and foremost a solicitation for funds. In it, she magically bypasses the Aug. 28th Primary Election and declares that she needs to be competitive with Democrat Kyrsten Sinema.

Like her mentor John McCain, she unctuously calls us, “friend,” although we’ve never met.

Then she goes for the crude, saying “I don’t have time for BS.” She’s not referring to Barbra Streisand. If fact, McSally serves up steaming piles of BS as she attempts to BS us into opening our wallets and checkbooks.

A former military pilot, she states, “In war zones, there is no time for posturing, score settling, or showmanship. I have never had time for BS when it comes to serving our country, and that remains true for my “deployment” to D.C.” She also used the BS terminology in her campaign launch.

Her self-aggrandizing hoopla and raw language doesn’t take her far. McSally — often referred to as “Sally McCain” — receives dismally low scores from conservative organizations monitoring congressional votes.

Conservative Review  gives McSally a 38% “F” rating.  Scroll the site for information on specific votes.

Heritage Action for America  rates McSally with a lifetime score of 48% and current score of 52%. Following the scorecard are thumbs up or down indicating the Heritage Action position alongside the position of the member of congress.  Check out the entire AZ delegation.

Freedom Works scorecard shows key votes followed by descriptions of the legislation. McSally scores a bottom-dragging 39.

Seeing Red AZ enthusiastically supports conservative Dr. Kelli Ward for U.S. Senate. Your donations will help her stay competitive against the out-of-state and lobbyist money funding her Primary Election opponent McSally and General Election opponent, radical Leftist Kyrsten Sinema.

GOP poser Bob Worsley won’t be missed by principled conservatives

June 19, 2018

A disheartened Arizona Republic has given editorial commentary space to Bob Worsley, whose passing the newspaper mourns. Worsley is still upright, but he has announced he will not seek reelection to the Arizona State Senate, where he ran as a Republican but frequently voted with the Democrats. He called it exercising “compromise” — an art Worsley claims we’ve lost — and displaying “civility.”

“Civility,” he grandly pontificates, “has become a rare commodity in political debate, a fact that worries me greatly.”

The question to ask is,“When did he come to that high-minded perspective?” Our June 23, 2012 post, “Bob Worsley: Hypocrite-in-Chief,reveals a less pretentious man, with appalling standards, who put his personal vendettas ahead of decency.

Worsley has lost sight of the fact that the two parties stand for very different things, as their platforms reveal. Every four years, platform committees devote massive amounts of time to crafting platforms that encapsulate their basic ideals. Worsley brushes the differences off like dandruff on his shoulder, saying,“There is nuance and complexity in nearly every challenge facing society. We do ourselves a disservice when we oversimplify complex issues to fit a strict adherence to political ideology.”

That bit of Worsley wisdom might require a second perusal to sink in.

It’s worth your time to read the intriguing back story behind the Worsley love-fest  titled,Worsley’s new pals at Periódico de la República de Arizona.” When it comes to political machinations in Arizona, there is no such thing as too much information. The same playbook is often used by slick swindlers, usually Dems, whose constituencies are known to be less attentive.

Now that Worsley will have more time on his hands he would do well to acquaint himself with the vast differences between the two political parties as defined in their platforms. One stresses liberty, economic growth, prosperity and refers to “God.” The other focuses on abortion, LGBT issues, encourages class warfare and sounds as though it was written by Karl Marx.

FEC investigates McSally’s numerous campaign violations

June 18, 2018

A regulatory panel of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has unanimously approved an audit of U.S. Rep. Martha McSally’s 2014 congressional campaign.

To say this is not good news for the current U.S. Senate candidate, often referred to as Sally McCain — for obvious reasons — is the height of understatement.

The commissioners making up the investigatory panel includes two Republicans, one Democrat and one Independent. They found Martha McSally failed to properly disclose finances and omitted employment information from over 1,200 individual campaign contributors.

Following a recount, McSally, who was expected to fare better, won the 2014 race against Democrat Ron Barber by 161 votes, a mere 0.1%.

This FEC Memorandum is stunning in its scope. Scroll down to Part III ‘Summaries’ and Part IV ‘Findings and Recommendations,’ for the complete report which includes:

Finding 1. Misstatement of Financial Activity

Finding 2. Disclosure of Occupation/Name of Employer

Finding 3. Receipt of Contributions in Excess of the Limit

Finding 4. Failure to File 48-Hour Notices

Finding 5. Failure to Itemize Contributions from Political Committees

Last month the Hillary Clinton-endorsing Arizona Republic veered far off the reservation using the word “liberal” as a pejorative, with this headline, “Liberal group: Martha McSally improperly raising money for House, Senate at same time.”  Although the newspaper hasn’t yet touched this latest McSally fiasco, it’s clearly preparing to ditch her in favor of meticulously repackaged leftist Kyrsten Sinema, who no longer touts her bisexuality, allegiance to atheism, sends May Day messages to the Communist Worker news or crudely derides stay-at-home moms as “leeches.”

Fortunately Arizonans have a superior option. Principled conservative senate candidate Dr. Kelli Ward, who had a private medical practice and worked as an emergency room physician while serving as a two-term state senator, knows that attention to detail is necessary when patients’ lives hang in the balance. Sloppiness is not part of her mindset. The differences are clear. Kelli Ward has won the endorsements of leading conservatives. Join them by donating to and volunteering on her campaign. Senate terms are six years long, There won’t be a buyer’s remorse do-over.

Arizona Daily Independent provides comic relief

June 17, 2018

Thanks to the folks at Arizona Daily Independent (ADI) for once again linking their Sunday Comic to a SRAZ post.

ADI’s Red Pill Approved Comics are often based on Arizona news, which is routinely discouraging to conservatives. They have a knack for bringing hilarity to dedicated leftists such as the desperate Phil Boas, who is the editorial page editor of the failing Arizona Republic.

Enjoy!

Illegals’ status enhanced by ability to expand Dem voter bloc

June 16, 2018

Though the left intentionally misuses the words, illegal aliens are not “immigrants” or “migrants.” Immigrants enter the U.S. legally, using our generous system that takes in over a million yearly. Migrants are the swallows that come to Capistrano each March 19, but even they return home to Argentina.

The political rhetoric surrounding separating children from their illegal invader parents has escalated past a fevered pitch. A USA Today front page photo showing a father asking, in Spanish, of course, “Why are you taking my boy?” is a guaranteed heartstrings tugger. The report details the man’s long journey from Honduras to Texas with his 5-year-old son in tow. He left his wife and other children back home. The boy was supposed to be insurance.

Open border advocates and legal advisers have been counseling illegals breaching our border to bring their children and coaching them on the “magic words” to memorize enabling them to fall within the statute of credible fear that will put them on the asylum track, according to border officials.  Mostly uneducated Central Americans from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, trekking through Mexico, but not stopping there, continue to flood the U.S. Once here they send back $billions of U.S. dollars in remittances to their homelands.

The mainstream media focus is on the Trump administration’s zero tolerance policies, although Newsweek reminds readers that Barack Obama held more than double the number of children in shelters compared to the Trump White House.

Families are routinely separated in the criminal justice system when adults break the law. It’s known as consequences for unlawful actions. If you rob a bank, you’ll be guaranteed to be separated from your kids, regardless of your country of origin. Taking a preschooler along on the heist will not ensure release from police custody. If anything, putting a youngster in harm’s way will enhance the charges.

A question to ponder: Would the throngs of immigration lawyers and illegal advocates be as committed to providing advice, aid and comfort, if they thought  the majority of these “refugees” would register as Republicans?

This is syndicated columnist Ann Coulter’s reasonable twitter take:

@AnnCoulter

No, Chuck Schumer, I do not want to see illegals separated from their children.

I want to see them separated from our country.

Phil Boas asks God for deliverance from Pres. Trump

June 15, 2018

With FBI Director Christopher Wray’s new release of facts from the 500+ page Department of Justice Inspector General’s report regarding the “rooting out of bias” perpetrated against presidential candidate Donald Trump* from within the highest levels of government, examine the same type of anti-Trump bias displayed right here in Arizona. In this instance, we’re not referring to the contrived attempt at influence peddling by former president Bill Clinton as he boarded the plane of then-U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport as it appeared increasingly likely his wife would face criminal charges — which ultimately never materialized. They claimed to have discussed their grandchildren.

No. These hits don’t originate with D.C. power brokers or with a partisan former FBI Director shamefully exemplified by James Comey, who gave the deceitful Mrs. Clinton a pass for her countless illicit transgressions, but on the pages of the local newspaper where relentless attacks against candidate, and now President Donald Trump, remains the subject of multi-pronged, repetitive hits.

Who can forget Phil Boas? He’s the editorial page editor of the anorexic and failing Arizona Republic, better known for his loathsome dedication to bringing down 6-term Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio — Boas’ own father-in-law.

All Republicans — except pretenders John McCain and Jeff Flake — are worthy of this partisan goon’s savagery. He despises President Donald Trump with such visceral animosity that his editorial regarding the historic Singapore meeting Trump negotiated with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, a leading despot on the world’s stage, is titled, “God help us if Trump solved N. Korea.”

It so rankles Boas that the businessman President who wrote, “The Art of the Deal,” just might have averted a global nuclear catastrophe, it leaves him editorially sputtering, “God help us,” numerous times in the editorial. Boas has lived to middle age without comprehending that those words are uttered by desperate people seeking divine intervention in hopeless situations.

Those of us who comprehend the significance of such a meeting that has not previously occurred in any administration in nearly 75 years — since the Korean peninsula was divided following World War II — are awed by this extraordinary summit, that showcased cordiality from the leaders of both countries.

Rather than rejoicing or giving credit where it’s due, Phil Boas begrudgingly concedes, “It’s a long shot, but there is reason to believe Trump could actually pull this off. Kim could have caught the vision,“ he contemptuously writes, “and if he has, he could make Trump look like a genius.”

Followed by another plea, “God help us.”

The Hillary Clinton-endorsing liberals at the newspaper would rather have nukes aimed at the United States, Japan and South Korea than concede that President Trump should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.  Barack Obama received the honor simply for breathing. He was nominated within 12 days of taking the oath of office. Read the fascinating time line by attorney Tommy De Seno.

And, as far as the local newspaper? If you’re still one of the remaining subscribers, ditch it. Why support a publication that holds you and our president in contempt?

* As usual, the U.K.”s Daily Mail provides excellent in-depth coverage.

GOP establishment back to pushing amnesty deal

June 14, 2018

The lyin’ Ryan Express delivers amnesty cargo

President Trump was non-equivocal when he issued this Immigration Principles and Policies letter to House and Senate Leaders on October 8. 2017.

He ended up acquiescing on major portions of his policy when signing the omnibus spending bill after being steamrolled by the GOP establishment led by House Speaker Paul Ryan, who is retiring at the end of this term. Like Arizona senators McCain and Flake, Republicrat Ryan has long been bonded to amnesty for illegal aliens, in all of its incarnations, including chain migration. There is not an iota of difference between the Republican posers and the most liberal Democrats.

The omnibus excluded construction of Trump’s wall, expanded “Catch and Release” for illegals, and did not fund 1,000 new deportation agents as the president requested. It was released, passed by Congress, and rushed to Trump’s desk within days.

In March, when faced with the no-wall omnibus, an irate Trump  threatened to veto the $1.3 trillion dollar bill, signing it just hours ahead of a deadline to avert a midnight government shutdown and keep military funding.

“There are a lot of things I’m unhappy about in this bill,” he said at the time. (video). “I say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again.”

Here we are in June 2018, and the identical strategy is being used to rush Trump into an immigration deal sure to demoralizes his populist base, aids Chamber of Commerce illegal labor profiteers, and breaths new life into his opponents preceding the crucial midterm congressional elections.

The duplicitous Ryan calls for passage of the amnesty bill next week, though it has not been completed or released yet.  “So This is Ryan acting like [Rep. Nancy] Pelosi: “Vote first, read later,” said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

Citing a Harvard-Harris poll, John Binder, writing for Breitbart News, noted nearly 2 out of 3 Republican voters say reducing overall immigration to the U.S. is more important than tax cuts or repealing and replacing Obamacare. Only job creation led the immigration issue.

The Alien Incarceration Report jointly released June 6, 2018 by the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, reveals the shocking rate of criminality among illegals incarcerated in the Bureau of Prisons. The numbers are on page 1 under Summary of Findings.

Do yourself a favor and read Ann Coulter’s most recent take on this debacle in the making titled,Meanwhile, ten miles from the White House…

In Coulteresque style, she minces no words.
