Step up and help elect Ken Bennett AZ Governor

June 13, 2018

Qualifying for Clean Elections funding is essential

Ken Bennett is running for Governor of Arizona and needs our help. He has a unique message, saying he believes honesty still matters. Bennett notes, “Obamacare is the biggest job killer and destroyer of small business in history. And the entire U.S. has it because of Gov. Ducey and Sen. McCain.”

It’s impossible to argue with Bennett’s conclusion, “We have been fighting for 10 years for the full repeal of Obamacare and electing members of congress and governors based on that campaign promise. (Gov. Ducey made that promise four years ago.)  During the Obama administration, congress wrote a great repeal bill and we watched the House vote on that bill every year but it either died in the Senate or was vetoed by Obama.  So we deliver the Senate, then we deliver President Trump who is waiting, pen in hand, to sign it, but it never reaches his desk because Gov. Ducey loves Obamacare and is telling his senators it must not be repealed.”

“Ducey will never support the full repeal of Obamacare because he is now sweeping the money into his bad plan for education. The latest Arizona budget just increased the Medicaid Expansion tax, so the federal matching amount also increases, to pay for “education funding.”  I call this the good old ‘robbing Peter to pay Paul’ accounting gimmick,” says fiscal watchdog Ken Bennett.

Bennett is clear, saying he wants to be the Governor of Arizona and restore the Republican principle of State independence from the Federal Government as defined in the 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution which reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Former Arizona Secretary of State and Senate President Ken Bennett has abundant credentials for the job. Equally important is the fact that he is not tied to the McCain syndicate and big spending lobbyists as Ducey is.

Ken Bennett is running as a Clean Elections candidate and is asking for help with $5.00 contributions and up to $160 in seed money donations to qualify him for matching funds.

If you’re tired of establishment control of our state, conservative Ken Bennett is the man to elect. The Hillary Clinton-endorsing Arizona Republic has repeatedly and insultingly called on him to get out of the race. Doug Ducey, like John McCain and Jeff Flake are the brand of Republicrats the liberal newspaper can tolerate.

Ken Bennett has incurred its wrath.  That speaks volumes.

This post,Bennett’s in the race: AZ Gov. Doug McDucey should be nervous,” provides background. We also made this bold prediction:Ken Bennett can and will be AZ’s next governor.”  He was able to collect his needed statewide nominating petition signatures in record time, including a 26% additional cushion to impede Ducey campaign challenges.

Now it’s up to you.

Your help is needed for this to become a reality.

Pres. Trump boldly goes where no one has gone before

June 12, 2018

President Trump, renown for his book,”The Art of the Deal,” shapes historic diplomacy

Watching the events of the first ever meeting of a U.S. President and a North Korean leader unfold at the Singapore Summit, we are reminded that our “unconventional” president Is an innovator, willing to challenge the status quo to make progress. After eight years of Barack Obama bypassing congress to unilaterally enact new laws (video) despite acknowledging he couldn’t, and dilapidated, scandal-plagued Hillary offering more of the same, Americans gave the boot to rehashed politicians and elected businessman Donald Trump. The liberals never saw it coming, (video) but those of us who attended his rallies were not surprised.

A new website, ‘Promises Kept,” detailing President Trump’s accomplishments has recently been launched.

Each topic includes a wealth of accomplishments Republicans can point to with pride. This is what we voted for. Thank God we did. As the president attempts to engage in historic negotiations with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, pause and consider what the alternative could have been.

Visit the site. Donald Trump’s presidency has set the course of a remarkable mission and we have every reason to be proud of our votes.

Consultant Sean Noble drops the ball on Seth Leibsohn & update

June 11, 2018

Years ago there was an award winning Broadway musical, later made into a movie and adapted more recently into a television production. “The Music Man” featured a con man posing as a noble boys’ band director, selling the naive townsfolk instruments and uniforms to keep the youth out of “trouble right here in River City,” by involving them in a marching band. The boys’ parents finally caught on to the fact they were being scammed.

Political insiders are abuzz that a similar con is taking place in AZ CD 9. Instead of band uniforms, trombones, and Professor Harold Hill, there is a hapless congressional candidate, Seth Leibsohn, who was sold a bill of goods by political operative / consultant Sean Noble.

Andrew McCarthy, writing for National Review begins his enthusiastic endorsement with, “Arizonans should send Leibsohn to the House of Representatives.”

The problem for Leibsohn, formerly an associate of Bill Bennett and most recently co-host of the “Seth and Chris”afternoon drive-time radio talk show, is Arizona voters won’t get the chance.  His good friend, frequent radio guest and campaign consultant, Sean Noble, has fallen down on the job of ensuring the collection of the proper number of nominating petition signatures to place Leibsohn on the ballot.  No kidding. Leibsohn didn’t qualify.

This is far worse than being swindled for uniforms and instruments for a non-existent band. This is an actual congressional district race, in need of a viable Republican candidate. The less than noble Noble not only fell down on this preliminary campaign duty, he is virtually hand-delivering the congressional seat to uber-liberal Democrat Greg Stanton, the well-funded, union-connected, former Phoenix Mayor. When Stanton was elected in Nov. 2011, he received a joint congratulatory call by none other than Barack Obama and then-Homeland Insecurity Chieftain Janet Napolitano, previously Arizona’s nightmare governor.

Chris Buskirk has been co-hosting with McCain ally and all-around slickster Robert Graham since Seth Leibsohn’s campaign related departure. Now that his pursuit has been deep-sixed, will Seth return to the airwaves? Self-promoter Graham is a frequent no-show.

We hear a lawsuit is in the works. Leibsohn is a lawyer, but won’t have a fool for a client.

“Oh,Yes. We got trouble,” right here in Arizona, with a capital “T” that rhymes with “D” and that stands for…

The 9th Congressional District candidate’s financial well being as of the March 31 filing could provide an explanation.

Liberal Greg Stanton raised $1,106,184, spent $223,767, and had $882,418 cash on hand. As usual, he’s funded by left-wing unions.

During that same filing period, Seth Leibsohn raised $129,007, spent $70,583, and had $58,424 left in the political kitty.

Steve Ferrara, MD, a political newcomer confidently identifies himself as a conservative Republican on his website, and is showing much better fund raising ability and money management skills than Leibsohn. Dr. Ferrara, a military veteran and medical doctor with a compelling personal story, raised $724,144, spent $196,203 and sits on a healthy start of $527,941 cash on hand, entering the next filing period where the expensive advertising wars heat up. He’ll still need donations to buy costly air time.

The Center for Responsive Politics bases its numbers on Federal Election Commission data available electronically on June 11, 2018.

Ann Coulter explains amnesty end game to Koch Bros.

June 10, 2018

Soon to retire, House Speaker Paul Ryan’s amnesty deceit defies logic

Conservative syndicated columnist and lawyer Ann Coulter is right on target again as she takes on the big money funding amnesty for illegals.  During an interview with Fox Business’s ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight,’ Coulter told the Koch brothers “good luck” with an amnesty, noting that mass immigration has slowly handed over electoral dominance to Democrats as foreign-born voters are vastly more supportive of liberals than conservatives.

Breitbart carries the interview and report, which includes this Coulter quote:

“I’m apparently going to have to spend my entire adult life fighting amnesty. Why is this the one bill that comes up every term of Congress. How many different ways can the American people say they don’t want it. This is for the donors. They want their cheap labor. And since I suspect — I mean, I know, blue collar workers and the working class don’t want it and I think more of your viewers are probably those Chamber of Commerce types.

Good luck to you Koch brothers under a government run by Nancy Pelosi. Because that’s what you’re getting if you keep bringing in cheap labor that votes against you 70 to 30.”

On his way out the political door, and despite assurances he would not do so, deceptive House Speaker Paul Ryan is preparing to serve up another rehashed platter of putrid amnesty as a parting shot at American workers and contemptibly timed to negatively impact Republicans in the midterm elections. Trying to figure out what drives Ryan is a fool’s errand, since his actions defy logic.

Infantile Jeff Flake subject of ADI cartoon

June 10, 2018

Once again SRAZ sends a “thank you” to the Arizona Daily Independent newspaper (ADI) for providing a humorous take on our recent post, “Jeff Flake: Ego-driven, delusional, loses grip on reality.”

ADI’s Sunday Comic depicts Flake as an infant in need of adult supervision, with a link to our post.

Irrelevant AZ senators rate headline for G-7 Trump bashing

June 9, 2018

Nonentities John McCain and Jeff Flake serve as useful idiots to leftist Arizona Republic

This reckless coverage attempting to undermine the President of the United States as he meets with G-7 leaders on the World Stage, is — unfortunately for all Americans who reap the rotten harvest  — typical of the Hillary-endorsing Arizona Republic newspaper.

Insults are one thing.  Acting to destabilize President Donald Trump is unconscionable. Trump has shown himself to be an effective leader, even engaging North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to the negotiation table, an unheard of event in over 70 years. The country was partitioned in 1945.

Arizona has zero representation in the U.S. Senate. John McCain, reported to be planning his own funeral, hasn’t been seen in D.C. in nearly a year except for this diabolically rehearsed drama. Jeff Flake suspended his reelection campaign due to his embarrassing low 18 approval ratings. Yet these two irrelevants rate the headline?

Something is very wrong with this picture.

Charles Krauthammer’s unexpected farewell

June 9, 2018

Many of us know Charles Krauthammer as a Fox News contributor, who possesses a wry wit and intellectually probing mind.  He’s also a Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist. But to many, his shining moment came with the publication of his memoir, “Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics.”

In that bio intertwined with a collection of essays we learned about the youthful Democrat, turned mature Republican, born in New York and raised in Montreal, in a French speaking family. While in his first year studying at Harvard Medical School, he was permanently paralyzed from the neck down in a diving accident that severed his spinal cord, He resolutely continued his studies while hospitalized for over a year, ultimately graduating as a psychiatrist.

The book, which sold more than a million copies, was on The New York Times Nonfiction Bestseller list for 38 weeks, placing at Number 1 on the list for four weeks in January 2014.

If we weren’t fans watching him on Fox, particularly interacting with Bret Baier on “Special Report,” the book sealed the deal. It was difficult not to notice his absence from the news panels. Yesterday we found out more than we wanted to hear about his whereabouts. Krauthammer has been seriously ill, and in fact, is dying of a now rapidly spreading malignancy, that was regarded as successfully removed and treated until recently.

In his classic style, he sent this letter out to his colleagues; friends and viewers, stating that his doctors have given him only a few weeks left to live. ”This is the final verdict,” he says.  “My fight is over.”

Bret Baier honors Dr. Charles Krauthammer, his friend and associate, here,

He’s already missed.

Jeff Flake: Ego-driven, delusional, loses grip on reality

June 8, 2018

Irrelevant Jeff Flake, is still trying to breathe life into his dead political career. Staring down 18 percent approval ratings, he couldn’t risk the embarrassing kick to the curb Arizona voters were certain to hand him. In response, he decided to withdraw from a second senate campaign.

Flake has been wiling away his dwindling time on the D.C. stage deriding Donald Trump, the Republican President of the United States — who both Flake and McCain refused to vote for. Libertarian Flake has used the GOP party apparatus and dedicated activists to his advantage, cloaking himself as a Republican during campaign season. For his transgressions, he was even taken to the woodshed by RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel. AZ GOP leadership remained mute.

Now, as a man without a constituency, Flake hammers President Trump at every opportunity — from speechifying in the senate chamber to making appearances on left-wing media outlets.  He even wrote an anti-Trump pamphlet, he deemed a book, with a title stolen directly from Barry Goldwater’s iconic 1960 book, “Conscience of a Conservative.” The obtuse  Flake, born two years after publication, probably thought no one would notice the heist.

Now Flake has moved on to the U.S. Constitution, written even longer ago. He has determined that President Trump is exceeding his authority in imposing economic trade tariffs, and needs to be reigned in.

Learning from his Republicrat mentor, John McCain, Flake is cobbling together a “bi-partisan” effort to legislatively hogtie the president. It’s what you do when your ego exceeds the size of your brain and your political days are numbered.

Flake, a former registered foreign agent lobbying for an African uranium mining company with ties to Iran, took to accommodating CNN to declare his intentions, while repeating his foolish mantra that in today’s political environment a Republican like him can’t win. He lost his voter base for exactly the opposite reason. His left-of-center unwavering support of amnesty for illegal invaders is not a winning issue, nor is incessantly insulting the president, something he never did to his basketball playing and traveling buddy Obama, whom Flake accompanied to Kenya and Cuba.

President Trump’s approval ratings are at an all time high, the economy is enjoying unparalleled growth, unemployment is at record lows and President Trump is fulfilling the promises he made to the American people.

In this pro-Trump climate, Flake, who was unable to hold on to his home state voters, now boasts he wants to challenge President Trump in 2020.  Our response?  Run, Jeff, Run!

AZ Republic’s leftist skew conceals truth, distorts facts

June 7, 2018

Reports lack facts, sugar-coat hate monger

SRAZ has ventured into the mind-numbing arena of the AZ Republic’s irrational reports recently. The conjecture, extreme leftwing skew and wishing-it-were-so cover-ups are appalling.

May 27, we brought our readers, Major reason to steer clear of deceptive AZ Republic. It was followed on June 2, by AZ Republic: Foolish reports take center stage again. With these “reports” coming at breakneck speed, it’s difficult to keep up with them. They are not only foolish, they are deceitful.

Today we present a couple of headlined articles worth delving into:

Headline Number One: “Lawmakers to Pentagon: Reverse transgender ban.”

Bear in mind there are 100 voting senators and 435 representatives. Both chambers hold Republican majorities. There were “over 100 members” who signed the letter written by U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy,III (D-MA) to Defense Secretary James Mattis demanding a reversal of the Pentagon’s ban on transgender people from military service. The policy originally authorizing transgender troops was instituted by Barack Obama.

Countless searches failed to locate a copy of the letter or any of the signers, though it reportedly concluded with this zinger: “If President Trump and his administration are committed to all of our service members, they will immediately reverse this bigoted ban.”

Headline Number Two: “Louis Farrakhan Jr, dies at Phoenix home.”

“His father, Louis Farrakhan,” according to the newspaper, “is known for preaching a conservative message of self-reliance and family values coupled with black empowerment, but has drawn criticism for fostering anti-Semitic views in the past.”

The past?

Louis Farrakhan, the head of the black separatist Nation of Islam, never preached conservative messages. His anti-Semitism has remained virulent, hateful and incites violence. In March 2018 during a Saviours’ Day event to commemorate the life of Nation of Islam founder Master Fard Muhammad, Louis Farrakhan had some choice descriptions of Jewish people. The “powerful Jews,” he told the audience inside Chicago’s Wintrust Arena, “are my enemy.” The Jews are also “responsible for all of this filth and degenerate behavior that Hollywood is putting out turning men into women and women into men.” He issued a threat to the Jewish community, saying , “Farrakhan has pulled the cover off the eyes of the Satanic Jew and I’m here to say your time is up, your world is through.”

In 1986, the Nation of Islam, moved its headquarters to Phoenix, where Farrakhan directed the group.

Farrakhan contemptibly claims Jews committed the 9/11 terrorist attacks in order to start a war between the West and the Muslim world, and to enable the “Jewish owner” of the World Trade Center to collect billions of dollars in insurance money.

National Review recently wrote about Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic tweets. He’s known for praising Hitler and derided Judaism as a “gutter religion.”

Even the radically leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, also known to foment hatred, refers to the Nation of Islam as a hate group. They can recognize one of their own, but the Arizona Republic wears blinders.

Jeff as Flaky as ever: Still bonded to Cuban dictators

June 6, 2018

A quick perusal of the soon-to-be-departing Sen. Jeff Flake’s press releases shows the contrarian still pushing his anti-Trump rhetoric. He hammers the president for his imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminum products, intended to put the USA back In the economic driver’s seat.

In his commencement address to graduates of Harvard  Law School, he inanely slammed the president — without mentioning his name —- for guiding a a national descent  into “rank tribalism.”

He defended his indefensible votagainst the nomination of CIA Director Gina Haspel, who was confirmed by a 54-45 vote. Then with his seriously ill mentor John McCain nowhere In sight, the vacuous Flake finally voted “aye.”

These brutish actions were all just lead-ins to his most recent inexcusable action, but one he has been bonded to for decades. The fact is, Jeff Flake has a fondness for dictators. Communist tyrants like the murderous Castro brothers who violently repressed their own countrymen, have long topped his list.

Breitbart News provides a ringside view into the most recent Flakiness with an article titled, “Jeff Flake Lends Support to Cuba’s Puppet President.”

The meeting was the first with an American government guest since Diaz-Canel took office. He remains subordinate to the country’s leader, dictator Raul Castro.

“It was certainly a friendly meeting with the president, he very much … he’s an engineer and was certainly, talking about this subject, was very fluent in what is needed in Cuba and the benefits that come from greater connectivity,” Flake said.

Flake, who has compared democratically elected U.S. President Donald Trump to brutal Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin — recognized by historians as directly responsible for the deaths of at least 20 million people  — did not publicly challenge Diaz-Canel or any Cuban officials on the gross human rights violation the Castro regime has inflicted on its people for six decades.

In 2015, we posted, “Jeff Flake: Obama’s top Republican ally,”

Don’t hold your breath waiting to hear anything negative about the island nation’s Communist regime from Jeff Flake. He accompanied Barack Obama to Cuba to celebration Obama’s dropping of sanctions against Cuba.

Jeff Flake, whose main thrust has been pushing amnesty for illegal aliens, is leaving the U.S. Senate after one term due to his bottom-dragging 18 percent approval ratings, admitting he couldn’t win a primary election.

Dr. Kelli Ward, deserves your vote and support.
