Pres. Trump’s announcement of Supreme Court nominee is scheduled for tonight at 9 p.m. (ET), 6 p.m. Arizona time
The Hillary-endorsing Arizona Republic employs two pages and an oversize photo to bemoan the lack of Millennials — those 37 and younger — running for local public office. The photo shows a line of young adults waiting to hear Socialist Bernie Sanders, a long-in-the-tooth 2016 presidential candidate older than most of their grandfathers. One thing their grandfathers have on them is Gramps knows a thing or two about the failures of Socialism — having seen the toppling of the Berlin wall and the failure of the repressive Marxist regimes of the Soviet Union, Cuba and Venezuela.
Mark J. Perry, a professor of economics and finance at the University of Michigan, writing for the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) authors an informative article titled, “Why Socialism Always Fails.”
The far left newspaper details the flawed campaign of a Scottsdale City Council candidate lacking in basic knowledge of the rigors of campaigning. After her petition signatures were successfully challenged she decided politics was not for her, saying the experience left her “disenchanted,” stifling her desire for a future campaign for public office. Rigorous campaigns are not the purview of faint of heart “snowflakes.”
At 9 p.m. (ET) tonight. President Donald Trump is expected to announce his nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court, to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, who recently announced his retirement. Kennedy, turning 82 later this month, was appointed to the high court in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan.
Watch as those who weren’t born at that time and most likely couldn’t name any of the current justices, are quick to authoritatively opine on a justice who has yet to be nominated or confirmed. It’s all about liberal indoctrination, racial and gender politics and baseless Trump hatred.
