Earlier this month, Democrat New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy bragged about signing legislation legalizing doctor assisted suicide, becoming the eighth state to casually devalue life. In signing the bill, Murphy, a self-described “lifelong, practicing Catholic,” stated that while he was aware the Church opposed assisted suicide he was signing the bill into law regardless.
The bill was co-sponsored by Assemblyman John Burzichelli and Senator Nick Scutari, both….you guessed it…Democrats.
New Jersey joins other assisted suicide-condoning states with Democrat governors including California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Vermont is the stand alone with a Republican chief executive to sign assisted suicide legislation.
It’s a slippery slope. Newly-born life has been shockingly devalued by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, another Democrat, who condones infanticide via post-birth abortion saying it‘s a decision to be made by a mother and her provider. Northam, a medical doctor, is even more reprehensible, since his pre-political career has been as a pediatric neurologist. Although he condones death for innocent babies, he opposes the death penalty for the most horrific criminals, who have committed capital offenses.
Watch this astonishing video of Northam’s interview on CNS News.
Appearing on WTOP’s “Ask The Governor,” program Northam defended the 40-week abortion bill saying, “If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
New York’s leftist Gov. Andrew Cuomo celebrated signing into law abortion up until birth. Watch this Fox and Friends video featuring New York Archbishop, Cardinal Timothy Dolan discussing how Democrats changed their previous abortion rhetoric from “safe, legal and rare” to what has now morphed into “dangerous, enforced and frequent.”
Cuomo has gone to the mat banning single use of plastic bags, which he prioritizes over human life.
